Slight spoiler but he feels every bit of pain Pyra feels as their life forces are connected. So when she gets beat up, Rex feels every bit of that and vice versa.

an Every Animation in Smash Ultimate compilation I haven't seen from anyone yet, and I didn't even notice it until Training Mode recently: every character has a (really quick but distinct-looking) reaction animation for when they first summon an Assist Trophy. Pichu gets excited, Bayonetta blows a kiss, etc. Any chance we could see a video of that sometime? I love your work!
