This video and the comments made me realize one thing... I need to book an app at the eye doctor sooner than later
One X is still looking good
Some aspects of the game you can tell but some aspects you cant
@Tren Kokoko this game is a goodlooking game regardless of what system its on
When u go from One S to One X there is already a massive difference . But the game looks pretty good on One S.
I have the xbox one, not even the s. When i get a series x I expect a massive difference.
60fps locked on the series X is impressive
@Lynnie Lynnie , is not native.
@@xergio1977 yes it is. On Xbox series x only. Ps5 is dynamic resolution because it cannot handle the graphics.
@@specteriw371 , Nop in Xbox séries X too. Google is your friend...(is 4K dynamique with drop in 1440p). Alway 4k native is only PC but is hard because game have à bad optimisation.
@@xergio1977 It technically is native 4k sometimes.. Just because it's dynamic, doesn't mean it can't hit native 4k.
@@timothyjn100 , yes just sometimes...(not 4K all Times = « therefore » is not native)
The one x got screentearing because ubisoft don't fixed (locked) the fps at 30fps, sometimes it goes a bit higher than 30fps. So if ubisoft fixed the fps at 30, tearing will be gone.
Don't fixed? Cmon, homie. Stay up.

Why does the water look better starting at 5:18 on Xbox One S, the white foam...!! Cool
They forgot to mention that it depends on the quality and resolution of the tv your playing on as well that’s a big part
Oh c'mon now lads, we can't be saying that it's "next gen" and the Xbox One X "can't handle it" when the performance is more solid on the technically inferior PS4 Pro. That just tells us that in typical Ubisoft style they have delivered a dodgy port.
Anyways, I'm off to pick up my shiny new Series X.
hey who asked?
just like ubisoft gimped AC unity on the ps4 and now even the series S can run it at 60fps but the ps5 can't
Looks like they made it for the PS4 pro and ported to X series here.
Ubisoft optimization and dog $h!t go hand in hand
@Jin Sakai You again? Well, i was literally taking playstation's side by saying that AC unity was terribly optimized for the PS4 whose side effects we can also seen on the ps5 but ponies like you cannot even see if people are siding you or not and equally be toxic to everyone.
We all wanna know PS5 vs XSX. I'll be leaning towards the console which runs Cyberpunk2077 the best.
Either or, probably go for the Series X if you want the most powerful, PS5 if you want good exclusives.
That will easily be the XSX, you will get special content too since Xbox is partnering up with them
@@IxChipmunk101xI source? Haven’t seen anywhere about exclusive Cyberpunk content on Xbox.
@@IxChipmunk101xI you mean they gaying up!
The graphic difference between PS5 vs Series X will probably be very marginal. Choice should probably be made by game pass vs exclusives.
Once you play at 60fps you just can’t go back to 30.
I’ve not really seen anything ‘next gen’ that’s impressed me that I need to spend £500 to play the same games I can on the one x 🤷♂️
I know right. It's because most of the next gen games are in development and for some reason they forced out the new consoles early it's odd.
These guys talking about the weather and shit but I don't think it's fair to compare weather effects that come randomly, other than that shit looks practically the same, no need to pay 500 right now just for 30 fps lmao.
The main difference between the Xbox one x and the series s is the frame rate while the Xbox series x has a bump in frame rate and graphics. The new gen consoles also have much faster loading times, and in general the software runs much smoother
@@jorgeloredo100 they recorded in 30 fps doesn't make the game 30 fps lmao
Series X has 60fps that's a massive leap for assassin's Creed
Assassin's creed Valhalla will be the first game I play on series x!
How do you know?
@@aleksmeister92 because he's a moron
Same here man, got both preordered and it will be the first game I play on the series X too. Can't wait.
sad
@@TheMusic4Soul yes, its truly sad these people nowadays ☹️
I'm really interested by the screen tearing on the Xbox One models, because it's a pattern I've seen before where PS4s use triple buffered vSync where as Xbox uses adaptive sync which definitely results in tears when not hitting the target frame rate. My theory is that because Xbox's can use variable refresh rates, developers build with that mind so owners of freesync displays don't see tearing. Problem is, not a lot of people use freesync enabled screens so their making a choice that benefits a minority at the expense of most customers.
I feel like all the comments saying "where's the next gen" are console players who never seen the wonders of 60fps.
30 to 60fps is wonderful by itself.
30 to 60 is an amazing difference. Anyone who says otherwise is a straight liar.
The series X runs it at 1800p-4k 60fps with higher draw distance, better textures, etc. Even a 2080ti isn't able to run it at 4k 60fps(as pc version is terribly optimized) but its still impressive.
I just upgraded from a Xbox One S to a Xbox One X for 125,00. Everyone is mad cheap selling there one x to upgrade to Series X, I'll wait till the Series X gets cheaper. Peace !!!
Smart man, I did the same til some next gen exclusives come out I’m content with my PS4 Pro and Xbox One X 🤘
Same, the difference in visual once does not justify the cost.
I'd wait. I bout the series x and it's mainly just a faster system it seems. Looks maybe 15% better right now.
@@jlozano2014 Yeah it's more powerful but let's say Elderschrolls 6 would drop now. Than I would have to get one. But till that happens...
Cyberpunk is running smooth on one x to.
Didn't had as much issues as most people assume. Most of them are playing on older systems. They should have just put something on the box.
Yes One S, no Series S? Bah.
Series S is the same as series S just a 1440p.
@@H.E.M. series s is the same as the series s? woah
@@bobitysteve9509 He's speaking the language of the gods lol
@@joeyl3130 great Odin's beard!
@@H.E.M. no it is not. Its half the framerate, and lower settings.
It's much more impressive one you play it on the series x. Im awed constantly
I played valhalla for a few hours the night of release on my one x and the screen tearing was almost constant, then I played it on the series x the same day and the difference in performance was night & day, hardly any screen tearing and runs smooth as butter, the boost in graphics is also a massive Improvement over the one x. I'm really enjoying this game on the xsx.
Started with this game today on the series X. Looks great so far imo!
Why I don’t see a lot of a big difference now, it will take awhile before we see a massive big difference.
I'm worried because the view distance isn't that different from last gen, I thought that with the massive upgrade we would be able to see distant buildings with better textures
Yeah I'm good with the X, and my Pro....they will be making games for them for quite a while. As long as the game looks good and plays good I'm just fine. I'm not paying $400 or $500 for 60fps. The hell with that. ppfftt.
@@drummer7557 well said definitely agree
You’ll be seeing that kind of stuff once the Xbox One is no longer supported. They can only go so far with smart delivery for games.
What did u expect from Ubisoft, they gotta milk their efforts.
Looks much better on Xbox one x compared to ps4 pro 3:33
Does resolution matter if the One X has bad screen tearing and bad framerate?
Why the trees are different in each version? Is it procedurally generated or something?
@@visceralcarnage6014 ik right tf is he talking about 😂
Its just cloud shadows
@@visceralcarnage6014 you know the tearing is from ubisoft and not the xbox
The One X holds up very well.
The FPS is the clear difference. Color looks better on the XBSX, but the XB1X still has a lot of life left with it.
I think all versions look great. Screen tearing will probably be patched out later.
clearly not watching on a good phone with 1440p res or higher. probably 1080p
Yes I beg they patch the screen tearing fast. It’s making the game almost unbearable to play
Xbox OneX's graphics still looking very good
@@Simlife101 You're right. I'm not watching this on a 1440p phone. I'm watching it on a 4K HDR10 TV and yes, the game looks fine on all platforms. I'm playing it on a One X & the screen tearing isn't even that noticeable. Maybe you should quit being a graphics snob.
@@Crazy_Gamer_OG Someone has deleted their reply. they were saying it looks terrible and no not looking good. all i was referring to sas that not you and i am no Snob about resolution i was making fun about the person maybe watching on their phone so it wont look as good. I want to see realistic movement in these games next. No more walking normally half on an edge half off an edge. Also, turning your back and running in combat is unrealistic and takes me out of the game. I’d like to see some movement restrictions to add strategy to games.
Yeah the lack of animation quality has become so much more apparent as graphical quality has increased dramatically. We’re at the point now where the graphics are fine, we just need better physics and animations.
I have a X One S, and i'm kinda worried about the gameplay in general. Do you guys think the game may lag too much, or maybe crash or something like that? Thx
I have it on one s while waiting for my series x to come in the mail. The game plays fine a little blurry and I can see the tearing but I’m having a blast with it. Probably my favorite game in the series since black flag
@@jbag3399 Thank you very much
@@jbag3399 does the frame rate really bad on the one s? Especially when you go to towns and raids??
@@randomguyonyoutube591 it reminds me of last gen games (ps3 and 360) as far as the FPS and tearing go. I have definitely noticed the tearing a few times but still I wouldn’t call it unplayable but I will say that it’s clear the need for next gen is real and I can’t wait to see how it looks on my series x when it comes on Wednesday
u don''t have to worry on games like this that are crossgen. This kind of game is build ground up first on the ps4 and xbox one ogs. and they upscale it to the next gen machines. So there will be no issue at all.
I'm gonna play it on my One S then get blown away when I start a new game once I get my SeriesX.
kinda sad the series s can't handle 1080p60.
It’s pretty impressive that the game can even run on the Xbox one s. That’s what I’ve got, and I can’t afford to update yet. Still it’s nice to know I can still play the newer games, even if they do run with a crappy frame rate.
This game was developed for the PS4 and Xbox One generation first, after it was ported to the new generation. So there is no longer a giant difference graphically. Every cross-gen game is like this

One X and PS4 pro look fantastic in their own right. If you bought one of those, your investment is still going strong.
@Don Zackery most likely, yes.
I know it's popular to say the PS4 and XO were underpowered, but the PS4 has held up pretty well. With the PS3 and 360 there games had a much tougher time towards the end stay close to 30.
I thought the same, was a bit afraid the basic ps4 couldn't handle it but after this I am very happy with the result, for me there is no need to change to a ps5/ Xbox series X yet.
Xboxone x has more detail and higher resolution than ps4 pro
But with screen tearing and bad framerate.
Xbox One X came out a year after PS4 Pro and was 100$ more expensive.
@@ahrlj24 well xbox series x and ps5 came out the same year and dmc 5 runs like shit on ps5 so whats your excuse. Loving it so far with the exceptions of a twitchy camera and randomly getting stuck when I'm crouched. Just literally stops and can't move until I stand up and that fixes it. Oh and the configuration is different to Odyssey and not easy to remap.
Edit: Yes it has screen tear even running on x with 4k TV. 🥺
4k 60fps is the most ideal solution for a better experience. Still would've been nice to have the options to switch to a more resolution sorta gameplay experience for the visuals. It would've looked amazingly stunning.
Really enjoyed this. Great comparison.
Why does the PS4 pro look better than all other versions? Makes no sense.
Because you're not getting the 4k from the xbox thru your dam phone screen or whatever screen your on..🙄 if you play them both on 4k screens, the actual games, not a video, the X always looks better. The ps pro doesn't even run games in 4k.. the X looked superior in real life I always buy em both just facts is all.
@@ryanmurillo8625 makes no sense, surely the best version would look best on a 1080p display? Know your resolution. Even the colour looks better.

Oblivion has the most realistic water
I went from X1X to XSX (Died after 1 day, RIP) and back to X1X and I just don't see a significant difference besides framerate. That IS huge on it's own but kind of a let down for the big "next gen moment". It really doesn't look much better than Odyssey on the X1X to me either. Character models and especially hair are very poor and worse than last gen's better examples, facial animations are still sub par even in key story missions. Voice acting quality is up across the board, and the setting and world is beautiful in a way Odyssey never was. It's definitely a must play for anyone who liked either of the last two games even a bit, and probably also for any open world or RPG fans. Side note: Forza Horizon 4 on XSX was WAY more impressive as a next gen demonstration, and I've been playing that constantly lately leading up to the XSX launch.
Absolutely agree that the enhanced fidelity really does help suggest how cold it is - each time you heave yourself out of a river and see the s t e a m coming off your sodden clothing - the attention to detail when fabrics get wet and hold water is stunning..
Maybe it's not quite as convincing with the windows open....but all these examples of great craftsmanship serve (for me, at least)as little suggestions to the brain, leaning hard against what your senses are telling you is your warm, wind-proof and door-equipped room.
It's an aspect I "thought" I was experiencing close to limits on my One X........but witnessing it on a new Series X is enough to make me think I need to set fire to some coats and fashion a Wolf/Bear survival suit 😳
Cheers for the comparisons, much appreciated 👍
There’s frame rate problems on the Xbox consoles for some reason. PS4 and Pro are stable 30.
Nah I have both the xbox just has a broader spectrum of performance in there consoles.. thats a better thing, the S is cheap and less powerfull for people who can't afford the X the X is a massive jump in power from all consoles even the pro, I get much better frames on my X than on my pro. Don't even try to spread misinformation lol. The X has been the most impressive, smoothest, most powerfull console to date until this next gen here, and the series X takes the cake again. I always buy em both so I don't give a fuck, but stop spreading lies lol..
Does anybody see a 500$ difference cause i sure as hell dont

The one X still got it!!
Yes, the One X still has bad screen tearing and framerate.
@@visceralcarnage6014 this will be fixed with a patch. You can see its not dropping frames but duplicating them hence the 31 fps which is causing the screen to tear, its not a hardware issue but a software one.

Base PS4 barely has foliage swinging in the wind compared to the pro..sucks tbh
@Naked Old Snake go and watch both of their performances on ps3, their literally 20-25 frames most of the time.
Cross gen games will look dreadful this time next year. I can remember the downgraded ports of Advanced Warfare, Fifa 14 and so on etc from 360 to xbone. But the last 360 releases of Fifa 13 and Cod Ghosts were graphically comparable to the new gen releases. They do this to kinda force the gamers hand into purchasing the latest console.
This vid helped me make my mind up on what to buy...shame the X Series is still so impossibly difficult to get hold of. Very informative work :D
i believe the screentearing was the games issue since ubisoft did come up with a patch that fixed it..if not fixed it then made it much less of a thing occuring
Come guys, you know we want to see the series s paired up with the one x and the series x.
I dunno why but fps on xbox one x is going beyond 30 fps that's amazing
I feel like I got incredibly lucky because on my one s there is virtually no screen tearing but on this it looks like there's loads

is the series X footage after the next gen update that the games are supposed to get or is it the final look?
They forgot to enable vsync on the One X lol.
Xbox series X has way better colorspace, dynamic range, contrast.
Next gen just for 60FPS ?! No, clearly not ! Just an enhancement of current gen and Series X/PS5 seems to be more like a mid gen than a next gen consoles ... they brings just enhancement of current games ... And 60FPS with dynamique resolution for a current gen game is not impressive ... just normal ... or a shame because for me it was the 4K60 Native at minimum I wait from Series X / PS5 ... stop to be impress just by a few enhancement ! A nextgen game need to have a real new constructions, textures in 4K, more polygons, more colors, effect, HDR better implementation, better IA etc ...
