Tank you for this video. It showed me that I'm not alone with my sacrifices. I've also been through a lot.
I'm a mother of a 7 month old son now and I am very proud of him. But sadly me and my husband are fighting more often. We both wanted this baby. But now when he comes home tired from work he can't even understand why I'm also tired. He says things like "You stayed home all day and did nothing. And I worked the whole day"(for 8 hours).
But somehow he can't understand how much work it is to care for our little one, cook food, clean our flat, help my grandparents every day. I don't even have time to care about my body after pregnancy. I'd really like to do some fitness each day to get fit again but I have no time left for myself. 😔
I don't know you but I feel your struggles, continue being positive and loving and also pray that things get better. Stay save, God bless You.

I read about this phenomenon. So I started getting him used to childcare, focusing on the first two days (I would only breastfeed, eat and rest) to the next two weeks on his paternal leave, giving him lots of care opportunities - I would even pump a bit milk every morning so I could go out alone twice a week.
Even now as our kids are 2 and 3, he does mostly all the morning stuff because I leave for work early. He cooks more and cleans the kitchen, I put kids to bed and clean and do the laundry.
We still complain about chores sometimes or the other one being lazy, but we both know the hard-working one is the one with the kids! Any boss is a breeze compared to a baby! We take turns on free time, or sometimes we split the kids and take them to our hobbies.

This is the problem. That society has brainwashed us to think and feel like motherhood is a sacrifice. The true divine feminine sees this as a gift, never a sacrifice. A true divine man knows this too and provides the safe, supportive environment for this to manifest.

Motherhood IS a LIFETIME sacrifice. Your life no longer exists once you decide to bring a baby into the world. It's not talked about enough but that's the truth. It depends how you look at it.

To the point that no one really speaks about the beauty of motherhood.. you can easily get enough videos on why someone doesn't want a child, or how delivery is horrible or the night feeds etc etc .. it's because it's spoken about in a biased manner that people are hesitant to have babies...(it's their choice and I no problem with that..) but it's time we see the beauty of it as well...

The challenge that a lot of us face is that we end not planning for kids especially and then when they finally arrive then that's when most of the planning starts. Making a family work can be a lot of work and so its rewarding when you have a supportive partner.

Women, before you have kids ask yourself first if that is something you really like from the bottom of your heart or are just following some social standards, could you support yourself alone financially if the time comes to be a single mother and most of all, would be the “father” someone that you could imagine have the rest of your life (even if you are not together) around cause he will be part of your life forever once you have a child with him
Yaaa I'm European and we shared childcare since birth, also we both have jobs, we split chores and childcare and free time. I don't feel any more like I have sacrificed anything, maybe just been 3 years on slightly lowered work capacity with births, sleep deprivation, breastfeeding and whatnot.
I have not sacrificed, but WE have CHOSEN together to allocate our energy and money on bringing new people into this world.

I always wanted to be 100% happy and in alignment with myself before I had kids, because those vibrations you pass onto someone else especially to the kids. When I lost my first one I went through a great spiritual journey full of growth and then got pregnant right after. Only because of those experiences I was able to become the mom I am today 😊

Before u bring a child into this world ask ur self and ur parthner if this is what u want a child takes alot of effort amd time ....help each other make sure too that person is ready for a family or to start one the truths is alot of men out there want a baby but do not stay so next time dont only ask if they way a baby ask if they will also stay with there baby ....i ran stupitly amd make a baby for the wrong man ...i have no regret i make a baby my biggest regret is im not there anymore for my baby cause of a cheating father and plus he tell me about my body changes also we separtated now all my happiness is shattered
Yes agree. I am not married nor do I have kids but from experience from talking to guys I can say that it’s very easy for them to talk and say they want kids (maybe for their social status or for them to feel good about themselves) but they know when shit hits the fan, the mother would be the primary caretaker and they can just come and go as they please. Having a baby is more of the woman’s choice. Any women reading this, please keep that in mind, that you have the final say in if you want a baby or not

I don't get these people.. why is making sacrifices glorified? A sacrifice to me is a difficult thing life puts in front of you, and with bravery you have to go through it and accept its challenge. But looking for it, only to brag about it later? In particular the woman who renounced to her dreams, sacrificing them, just to follow that (selfish?) desire of experiencing parenthood. Maybe she could have helped so many people with her career, and her contribution, but she chose to create humans from scratch just so she could help them only. I really don't get this...
