As a single parent I just put a blow up mattress in the room. I had a cooler of water, pineapple juice and apples along with the nebulizer. The pineapple juice and water mix kept the inflammation down. The apples to soothe the stomach after the breathing treatment. A cool towel for the forehead and face it will keep you from having to go up and down the stairs and allow you and your kid to sleep better.

Jesus already made it well... We are sickly people and dying because we're religious and eat and drink everything we shouldn't. The food is making us sick. BUT we can be cured healthy and well at all times... IF we would actually obey Our GOD vs our stomach. The Minister of Wellness youtube channel will show you how to cure ANY and ALL sickness and/or disease... Reversing any effects on the body that were caused by illness. Please take a minute and listen. Yall spend so much time asking Jesus to "fix it" and heal you... When He literally already has!! It's in the natural healing foods... So the very next time you call on Jesus for healing I hope he reminds you of this comment. You don't have to be sick AT ALL EVER.

As a single parent, I operate in very similar ways as you. I’ll have the meds ready and try to lay down twice at the most, but after that, I mentally prepare to stay up all night, even if that means my boys won’t wake up again. I don’t want to risk falling into a deep sleep and waking up irritable. I clean, read, watch tv, eat again lol whatever it takes. Those phantom cries are a real thing too😂

When I heard that barking cough my heart cringed. I remember those days. My youngest was it seemed always sick one time she couldn’t breathe and so I made a bed in the bathroom. Put real hot water in the tub and her and I slept on the floor the steam really helped her to breathe better. She was on meds all the time it seemed. Then after 2 1/2 years old she seemed to grow out of it, when I got to sleep through a night no cries I thought she must have died. I was so scared to go into her room but I did and there she was playing with her toys haaaaaa so happy to see her perky and happy. Not fun having sick kids like that

When he went to high school, he pretty much knew what to do and pretty much did things on his own, unless it was so bad that he had to go to the hospital. It became a constant routine and he still has flare ups from time to time at the age of 25. God bless your babies, may they get well and feel better soon!🙏🏾

I feel this so much. My son has been sick off and on the whole month of November. 2 weeks out of school. And my daughter 3 weeks straight. They were tested for everything and they all came back negative. Just an upper respiratory infection. It hit us all so hard.

If you know a 24-hour pharmacy, call and talk with the pharmacist about your or your child’s symptoms. They are trained to know what over the counter medications can help

This was my household 2 weeks ago. Three sick babies and then the hubs had pneumonia. I was one tired mama but we got through. Prayers for your family ❤

Honestly I’ve only gotten the flu I couple of times and as a kid seeing it from the parent perspective is really cool and makes me think about all the things my parents did the same and differently like all I got for the day was a bucket and tissues

The stomach hurting is always deflated 7up/Sprite. It’s normally the start of them being sick and the fluids help and the sugar helps too.

... Well done!!! Sometimes tea and salty pretzels will do for the stomach .... Sometimes it is not necessary to give medicine, that's how my mum handled it when I was young... Love&peace

It’s part of parents life. Just experienced this a few days ago with my child. I had very little sleep also.
