great Info, I got one 2nd hand at a garage sale for under $100 with the kit lens and accessories and planned to use it with the kit lens as my backup camera while on hikes so I don't have to swap lenses on my T7/2000D for landscape photos
Hello buddy, I have this camera for 12 years now with 18-50 and 55-250 lens. I used it for initial 2 years from that time it’s just kept as it is. I have lately started Motor cycle rides and intent to click some pics. I have iPhone 15 plus too. Do you think I can use my 1100D for some fancy shots ? M also buying DJI action 4 in few days.
I want it for portrait shots, with 50mm 1.8 pancake lens. Is this a good combo? I only intend on shooting in good lighting, or should I just get a Google pixel and call it a day.
It is pretty good but the 18mp models arent much more expensive these days. You might benefit from the extra resolution. The 50mm isnt small enough to be considered a pancake but pretty small nevertheless
Remember that image quality comes mostly from the lenses. Body doesn't matter as much. So 1100D or 1200D both can be good if you buy a decent lens with them
Excellent episode! Well thought out and a good camera choice. Thank you for all of your hard work on these videos. 📸

What lens do you recommend to be able to to take good pictures?
17-50mm f/2.8, 18-50mm f/2.8, EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM, EF 40mm f/2.8 STM or EF 50mm f/1.8 STM
What do you think about F/3.5-6.3 and F/2.8 (90mm)?
Hi, could do a video on using this camera as a webcam?
Sorry but that's not possible to do
Hey bro should I buy D1100 for Photography... Is it good for night clicks such as skies ... Dark themes
Only if you plan to buy a good lens with it. Not the 18-55mm
@@too_many_cameras what about d 1200

Hi, do you recommend to buy nikon D3100 over this camera?
It's a tough choice. D3100 may have better specs but i prefer to use Canon cameras so i might get the Canon. Never had the D3100 though
How are videos on the camera? Is it worth it?
It shoots very bad video. Your phone will be better
@@too_many_cameras ok thanks, I thought of taking it for some yt videos as I found it in the house of my dad, but then I guess I'll just use my phone
Yep. For regular photos it's still good if you put a decent lens on it
