Is the t3 good enough to record youtube vlogs in 2020? I have a good external mic but I need to figure out if I can use my near-new t3 or if I should sell it and use the money to upgrade? Any and all help would be appreciated.
I would sell and upgrade. To me the 4 most important features a camera should have for most "RUclips" scenarios, are: Input for external Mic, Flip Screen, Auto-Focus and minimum 1080p...the T3 has none of those... Some cameras that meet those criteria are the Canon T5i etc, the SL2,and the m50. The sony a6000 series is very good too.
@@vicenteyepez5517 That's tough. I think those are the best places as people do tend to buy older cameras still. Just make sure to promote it more as a starter photography DSLR camera - which it is still very capable
Hi, what is the best lens do you recommend for T3 for making atleast high quality cinematic videos and films? Can the lens contribute to making the resolution high quality? I'm new to this kind of stuff.
The T3 will not create "high quality" it's only 720p. A lens can really only alter depth of field and relative light let into the camera. So any lens that can achieve a "lower aperture" (ie: the 50mm f1.8) can give a "more cinematic look" but those lenses are often more expensive (besides the one I mentioned, it's cheap).
