Im most hyped for Straczynski/ Gillen's Thor, Simone's Secret Six, Busiek/Perez Avengers v2 and Chip's Daredevil.

I don’t think people understand my excitement for The FLASH by Joshua Williamson omni. Bruhhhhhh, that run is soooo overdue for one. I hope they finish that out. That run was full of so much energy. Amazing List Omar ! ⚡️⚡️
I’m super excited for it too. Can’t wait. I’m so happy we’re getting so much Flash love this year, with the Morrison deluxe and Messner-Loebs omni. Hopefully we’ll get a Waid vol 2 announcement this year too.

I'm excited about Spider-Man: Brand New Day Omnibus Vol. 1, Spider-Man by Michelinie & Bagley Omnibus Vol. 1, Marvel Masterworks: The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 26 (uncollected material!), Nightwing: A Knight in Blüdhaven Compendium, and the various Spider-Man omni reprints!
Out of this list my favorite and only book I'll be picking up is SW The New Republic Omni vol 2. Happy to see many people get their favorites printed! Love all that you do Omar. Happy New Year!

Slaine the Horned God, that was the nugget in this video that I wouldn't have known about and now am excited to pick up. Hope your able to do a overview ahead of the release date!

Can't wait for the Invincible library editions vol 5 and 6!
Slaine Horned God is probably Bisley's best work. Insane, lushly painted, berserker mode, etc. Slaine is worth checking out further than that one, though. Glenn Fabry and David Pugh swapped runs prior to HG (among other artists) and the art is B/W goodness. Pat Mills usually brings the insanity and he wrote all of Slaine.
I'm waiting for Marvel's Rom & Micronauts. I'll definitely put Peter David's run of Aquaman on the list. What I really want is to see reprints issued of The Mighty Thor Omnibus 2 & 3; and Lee's run on Fantastic Four, Amazing Spider-Man reprinted so that I can get my own copies without taking out a loan for Ebay copies.
There’s a lot I’m looking forward to and I’m not even including Absolute Editions here, but a few of my most anticipated releases have to be Thor by Straczynski/Gillen, Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender, Fantastic Four by Waid and Weiringo, Flash by Joshua Williamson, and Something Is Killing The Children Dlx Ed Vol.2. Super excited for Ghost Rider: Danny Ketch, X-Factor, and Micronauts. Remember really enjoying the 2nd series of Micronauts back in the day so I'm happy to finally get to read the first series.
Happy New Year Omar and Thx for a great video. Some brilliant books to look forward to this year, but by far my favourite is ONCE & FUTURE BK2, WooooHoooo!!!! Dan Mora art in large format is the best. Also looking forward to Micronauts, that book takes me back to my teenage Marvel years. ❤️❤️😎👍
I had no idea until I was an adult the Micronauts was a comic, and still haven’t read it. It was my favourite toys as a kid in the late 70s/early 80s. Might need to get an omnibus.
Looking forward to Trigun. Always wanted to get into the anime, but just couldn't for some reason or the other. I hope the cover doesn't change. I think it looks pretty sharp. Again, just being reminded of Trigun has the opening riff from the anime's theme stuck in my head already. _Gonna be a long day, lol._
Also looking forward to grabbing the Michelinie/Bagley Spider-Man omni and Michelinie/Larsen Spider-Man reprint.
I need to get back into IDW's Ninja Turtles. I've been collecting them all along, but just kinda stopped reading them in Volume 5 (round the time the Ghostbusters showed up). I really liked the story (well, mostly), so I just need to knuckle down and dive back in sometime. I've really liked how well the books are put together, too. That is... aside from the first printing of volume 1. It literally fell apart on me and I had to buy another one, lol. Been good since, though!
edit: Also, I wanna read Cates' Thor. Excited for that omni.

Micronauts is my most anticipated. I grew up with these and still have my single issues of the X-Men crossover. Unfortunately I don’t have the Micronaut singles anymore. I still remember the epic story about the Keys that ran in the thirty number issues. So awesome I can’t wait.
One I didn’t know about was the Slaine collection, I love Simon Bisley’s art, and yes The Horned God is the story and you will love it.

Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning wrapped up Peter David's Aquaman run. DC should invite Peter David to come back and do a 5 issue mini series that wraps up the story the way he intended, and collect that in the omni as well.

The missing issues in something is killing the children was purposefully skipped because of Tynion wished it to. The skipped ones are a flashback arc.

Finally Siktc and Once&Future Book 2. Been waiting for those two. Once&future finished its run a while ago. Weird that they've waited this long to release the second HC.

I think I’m most excited for is that last FF epic by DeFalco coming in march cant wait for that. As well as New Avengers Omni vol 1 reprint can’t wait for the pre order on that to get up.

Read the first 36 or so issues of Hitman. EXTREMELY underrated series I’m happy to see getting the Omnibus treatment
I don't have any artist editions because of how cumbersome they are to store but that Batman Year One AE is really tempting.

Some excellent choices Omar! A lot of the books I’m excited about are first out of the gates in January but I’m looking forward to more DD and Cap along with the Flash omnis. I’ll be interested to see the DC omnis this year as I was disappointed with the lighter paper stock they were using towards the end of 2023. Your overviews will be essential for a lot of my buying decisions!
2024 looks pretty slim pickings for me, which I am very thankful for. Time to read my backlog and take it easy on my wallet.

#NearMintCondition Extremely disappointing Marvel decided to discontinue the dlx for DD by CZ, which are beautiful. Marvel forcing fans to buy Omnibus instead, which have become extremely expensive!
Tom King's partner in crime on Wonder Woman is actually Daniel Sampere from Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths. His art is beautiful on that series and that's a collection you will definitely want to check out. Bilquis Eveley is still working with Tom King though, over at Dark Horse comics on a series called Helen of Wyndhorn, and that's also a collection you will eventually want to check out.

I'm pretty sure it's much bigger than an absolute. And it's probably just the original pencils and inks

I still feel very burned from buying the first four Astro City paperbacks, and then they announced the omni. This is the worst way to rip off your fans to intentionally try to scoop up a double dip.
