From 4:39 to about 5:50 in his video it’s Juan Gabriel COMPLETELY improvising those lyrics! Those are not in the original song, which again is proof of him being one of the greatest performers, lyricist and singers of ALL TIME and not just of Mexico! There isn’t a Mexican in this world that doesn’t know and at least love one of his thousands of songs! So heartfelt and deep…words that hit our very core! He is One of the Threads woven deep into Mexico’s soul! 💗
Yes. But, not just Mexicans. He is the pride of all Hispanic people everywhere. I'm Puerto Rican. I love this song. My mom passed, and I remember her each time I heard it. It reflects my raw emotions. My Mami is my eternal love. Therefore, I feel the lyrics of this song in my heart.

Juan Gabriel Is the man. A gay man who has broken the boundaries of the hate in a country with an atrocious track record to the gay community. Beautiful soul/ beautiful song
Mexico has more of a “macho” problem, I hardly see people caring about your sexuality but from how Mexican fathers (not all but in general) raise their sons to be “the man” of the house, and if the son doesnt want to this is where the toxic macho problems happen.
Dios! Simplemente Magnifico 💜💜💙💙
If you don't cry with this song you have no heart. Is one of the most beautiful wonderful songs that every one sings to all over Latin america and the world.
We lost him back on August 28, 2016 and he is still dearly missed.he was Mexico's Elton John, beautiful and wonderful voice he had and always hit his notes perfectly and sang his songs with a passion and feeling.
I’m from Mexico and Juan Gabriel was the best signer, he always in each peformance sang with all his emotions He mades cry a lot of people; it was an amazing voice :’)
Y’all Hoes Messy Af that was assumed because she was the first person that ever sang the song and the city Acapulco is were her son died but he had actually written for his mother when she passed before that. It would make sense though that he would have someone else sing it first, it must have been way to heart breaking to sing it in mourning.
HE IS SINGING TO HIS MOTHER! HE IS SAYING IT CLEARLY IN THE SONG AND HE SAID THAT ALL HIS LIFE. Rocio Durcal sang this song for her son and Juan Gabriel wrote it for himself but as she was a good friend for him he allowed her to sing it for her son.

Eight years ago my sister passed away, she was 62. We worked hard to accommodate 100's of people at the services. At the gravesite, at the appropriate time a lady with a powerful voice began singing this song. Not until the next day did I learn that the singing was spontaneous and the lady was a very good friend of my sister. BTW, I love seeing your reaction to Juan Gabriel. Thank you.

One of, if not the greatest singer songwriter from Mexico the great “JUANGA”
Juan Gabriel Is the man. A gay man who has broken the boundaries of the hate in a country with an atrocious track record to the gay community. Beautiful soul/ beautiful song
So awesome!
Never came out as gay officially tho
@@h.heracleo5558 but he sounds gay and acts gay, you can always tell
Mexico has more of a “macho” problem, I hardly see people caring about your sexuality but from how Mexican fathers (not all but in general) raise their sons to be “the man” of the house, and if the son doesnt want to this is where the toxic macho problems happen.
@@dnuhuh triste pero cierto lo que dices.
Dios! Simplemente Magnifico
💜💜💙💙
If you don't cry with this song you have no heart. Is one of the most beautiful wonderful songs that every one sings to all over Latin america and the world.
R.i.p Juan gabriel.. this known this everyone he is the Mexican sir Elton John... 👌
He's was preparing a collab Whit Elton before he passed away , sad
@@adamwadecaw122 would of been a masterpiece
username 796855 Actually he is Juan Gabriel period, but like Elton too
Yes!
Holy shit that would have been incredible!
The emotions are true, his mother gave him up for adoption at the age of 5. He forgave her and took care of her in her later years.
Norr V true.
Josue2018 this kind of comments are why i pay for my internet connection
She put him in a special boarding school because he was gay
Josue2018 how did Mexicans invented the gay lifestyle? I’ve never heard of that
@Josue2018 Mexico did not invent the gay lifestyle...
We lost him back on August 28, 2016 and he is still dearly missed.he was Mexico's Elton John, beautiful and wonderful voice he had and always hit his notes perfectly and sang his songs with a passion and feeling.
He wasnt Méxicos elton john, he was Juan Gabriel
I’m from Mexico and Juan Gabriel was the best signer, he always in each peformance sang with all his emotions
He mades cry a lot of people; it was an amazing voice :’)
As a Mexican music like this brings back childhood memories of my mom blasting this song while cleaning and the smell of fabuloso in the air hahaha
I'm not Mexican but same as well.
Omar Aguilar omg!!! Yes!!! I work for a dental office, most of them are hueritas... they love it when we mop the floors it’s fabuloso lol
My mom still does it haha!! I’m so glad because I used to pass this off, now I can hear my favorite music and start connecting with it more.
Omg i can already smell the fabuloso xD great memories
Hahaha your chilhold memory is so tender and funny at the same time.
Rumor has it he stopped singing it live for a while because he was unnable to sing without crying. I mean, it was about his mom after all
He's was actually talking about his older sister.
She took care of him cuz his mom abandon them.
I thought this was Roció Dulcal song about her son passing in Acapulco.
Yes this song is for his mother, that he loved but she never accepted him for being gay. They made a documentary about his life.
He was pouring so much emotion into the song that he lost it for a moment. So the crowd picked up the song for him, kind of a HUGE group hug. 💝🙏🇲🇽
His voice is the result of him growing up without his mom , feeling abandoned then losing her , he is a masterpiece
You are a master of interpretation. Thank you for your kind and astute observations. I discovered Juan Gabriel by accident many years ago. I know live, again, in Mexico, where this sort of music is still an important part of society.
I was lucky enough to go see him perform in Los Angeles just before he passed away! It was a great performance, I loved it.
Hi I don’t speak Spanish but I am in love with it I speak French and Creole Amor eterno is one of my favorite song I know that it was about his mother but the music his voice everything about him , I am sad that I never had a chance to go to his show but I have his voice that I will carry until the end of my time. Thank you for your time.
I wish u could understand Spanish, this song is soo deep that it really touches ur soul... every time i hear it ill get teary....im 34yrs man big man but this song always turns me into alil crying babe...so powwerfull
My wife, my daughter & I where at his last concert in San Diego. He is one of favorite artisy/entertainers . His performance in San Diego was magical. Will never forget it! This song always makes me cry even though my beautiful mother is still with us. My wife cries all the time as well, it reminds her of her mother.
Thank you.
Wow. What a touching story. Thanks for sharing it. It's such a beautiful song.
When Rocio Durcal sings this....i bawl with tears of pain...as it is the song that reminds me of my dad (like many of you have mentioned...it reminds us of the ones we love but lost).
Finally someone that gives the time and respect for some of Spanish music's greatest musicianship... binging all the Juan Gabriel videos right now and it takes me to my youth cleaning the house with Saturday morning cartoons on.... gone but never forgotten, que descanse en pas el maestro
I am mexican, and you has a new suscriptor !

Heard it a thousand times and I'm always crying by the first chrorus. That's what happens when an artist talks universal truth. That's why this is the most beautiful farewell to our loved ones song.
I clicked this video to see his reaction. As I listen to this song I realize how much this could be dedicated to my grandmother 😭
@masterofvoice you’re the first RUclipsr that’s actually has reacted to my comment. Appreciate it a lot!😭💛
This is the song my grandpa played for my grandma at her funeral... now every time I hear it I think of both of them 😭
Dios... Dios bendiga a tu familia.
This should be titled the try not to cry challenge cause I'm a mess 😭 I purposely avoid this song because I will inevitably succumb to the tears EVERYTIME!
Stay strong 🙌🍺
Stephenia Maldonado I remember every time I watched or heard Rocio Dúrcal song this, I would be a mess. Even when I was younger and had no idea what it was really about.
Me too Everytime
Oh me too! I was almost 5 months pregnant ,when I lost my baby boy 10 years ago and this song reminds me of that day. 😪
@@janethzamora2897 I am so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately you never quite get over losing your loved ones. You just learn to live with the pain 😕 Stay strong ❤
Impossible not to cry or feel emotional with this song. To this day I can’t find a song that transmits the message as powerful as Amor Eterno.
Just in tears reminds me so much of my mother, what a beautiful song.
Juan Gabriel era simplemente un genio.
si estaba muy cabron
My mom tells me of the famous Nona Nona. This song was written for his mom when she died. He was the greatest artist poet songwriter etc. I’m so happy that I found this page. Music brings us together

I’ve listened to this song my entire life. I never really bothered to actually listen to what it was saying. I do speak, read, and write Spanish fluently. Really hit my heart with joy but also filled my eyes with tears. I’m from El Paso tx. Thank master of voice
seriously Andy, nobody does these "Voice Teacher Reacts" better than you. I love the little research, the translations to the lyrics you throw at us. Thanks Andy your awesome!!

Que buen canal👌
I know that you're a vocal coach and that you are primarily analyzing his vocals, but it's worthy of note that Juan Gabriel didn't just sing these songs, he composed them. He wrote the lyrics and composed the melody and did the arrangements himself. He was an amazing talent. Thank you for making this video.
Yo venía a pasarla bien y salí llorando ERES GRANDE JUANGA! Thank you for making this available to a wider audience!
my mother loved this man, she called me crying when he passed away; such a treasure
He wrote this song for his mother when she passed, which just makes it so much more heartbreaking.
Yes his live for his mother was amazing even she was a problematic relationship with him.
He wrote it for his mom's passing, that's why he gets so emotional
I cried... He was truly a master lyricist and poet. May he rest in peace.
I'm from Mexico, and everybody love this song because is very emotional and beautiful.
You react to his voice and that's cool...
I dont speak english very well
Thank you for this video :)
I believe this song was written for his mother, who he lost. I used to sit in the family room as a child with my parents, and my father would cry (my dad doesn’t cry). He would do so because the song reminded of his mother, who passed before I was born.
He is Mexico's greatest gift to the world. For me, he is the #1 artist in the world. I just love him. Rest in Peace Juan Gabriel and thank you for your great music.🙏💕✨
