Juan Gabriel wrote over 10,000 songs and recorded over 1,000. He once gave a 6 hour concert without taking a break. There will never be another artist like him.
omg a new episode of my favorite series: "people reacting to Juan Gabriel" just dropped!!
I love watching people react to him!! I cry almost every time lol
apt account name
Fr I always start with, oh dis bish gonna straight up cry…..but really I’m da bish…I always cry 😂
The part where the crowd starts singing ALWAYS gets me. Cause you know they feeling it too….deep deep down
I sobbed… and my mom is alive. This is song is immensely powerful
same everytime without fail no matter how many times ive listen to it.
Same, just makes me be more grateful 🙂
Me too, every single time I watch this performance.
@@allahbless2278and afraid of the future 😖😖
If I could have the chance to go back in time and be in only one particular concert.....this would be the one without hesitation. Juan Gabriel is a Legend!
As a Spanish native speaker it makes me immensely happy hear you pronounce Spanish so good, like really great. ❤❤ Great analysis as always, you're the best at this. Greetings from Dominican republic.🇩🇴
It is almost impossible for me to sing this song without my emotions taking over. I sing in Spanish because it's like therapy and it's a way of keeping my mother tongue fresh on my mind. I am never able to tap into my emotions and voice in English the same way I do in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Latin. A beautiful assessment of a beloved icon. Thank you!
Juan Gabriel created masterpiece's of music for everyone to enjoy. A true Mexican legend. May he rest well. 💙💙💙
A wounded soul filled with so much pain that couldn't heal itself, and yet gave us such beautiful timeless songs to rejoice and find hope in. D.E.P. 🙏🏻
I hope this video will serve to bring this fantastic artist closer to your followers. He is considered one of the greatest Latin American artists, with 34 albums in his career and more than 1800 songs composed, making him one of the most prolific artists in history.
Perhaps his best known song for those who perform reactions on YT is Hasta que te conocí, but personally, I consider this song to be much more heartfelt. It was initially popularized by Rocío Dúrcal, a Spanish artist who collaborated a lot with Juan Gabriel, a song that had a great impact and what made its author include it in his repertoire.
I am happy you picked this fabulous performance. It truly is one of a kind. I will be adding this song to my new playlist on Apple Music 💛
Wow that’s so dope
I don't speak Spanish, but a few of my favorite artists are Juan Gabriel, Ana Gabriel, Rocio Durcal and Jose Jose. I hope many new generations will have opportunities to hear these great artists.
@@jessicasopranonotesthanks for breaking down the art of singing.. never thought of a lot of the perspectives u mentioned in this art
We lost my mom this January. This was one of the requests she had be played at her funeral. Juan Gabriel was her favorite artist. I had never really listened to the lyrics before but after she passed, every word hit me like a ton of bricks. Still does. ESPECIALLY the part about "I know I could have done much more for you". (Thank you so much for doing such a good analysis of not just the performance but the meaning of the song)
Sorry to hear about your mom. She requested a beautiful song and it will be a great memory 💛
😊
Best Reaction I have heard from the numerous reactions there are on RUclips about this song on Juan Gabriel….about his voice and singing breakdown step by step of his high notes, cracking voice, pauses, and deep sadness. The background orchestra and Mariachi instrumentations along with the chorus and Public accompaniment of his song expresses that much more, that deep sorrow that he meant to translate and give to the audience (there and on those watching across the miles allowing those of us who were not there) that sense of his presence and feel that authentic outcry of emotions that makes us appreciate and value our own parents while they are still here. Your stupendous observation is a delight to see the quality of your depiction of this dearly talented and missed Star and it is obviously extremely helpful to be able to translate the language and hear the profound meaning of the words. Thank you so much.
Wow there is an otherworldly amount of effort put into this video. absolutely incredible how much thought went into this
Thank you for the recognition!
Yes! Your reaction was the best i've seen because you truly took it to heart and broke it down on the key parts of this performance that leaves no doubt on why he is one of the best performers this world has ever seen. Thank you so much !
You give Juan Gabriel ultimate justice as a singer… and explain his gift… we heard and felt it growing up (Mexicans) but you give it another life with your interpretation 🙏
as a vocalist i got a lot from you here thanks a lot
You’re right on target as far as his skills, both as a singer and composer! His connection with his public has been established over many years! An ultimate performer!❤
Wow I've seen a lot of reaction videos of Juanga but this is totally the best one. 👌 nice edition of the anylisis.
Hope you can react to the song "Asi fue" by Juan Gabriel the Official video which is live from Bellas Artes.
Greetings from Mexico
I have to say yours eyes give the best reactions no words need most times
Thank you!

This moment is simply beautiful, how everyone connects to sing the song is beautiful.
Love it love it love it
Juan gabriel 🫶🫶🫶 puro talento 🫶🫶
You dissected the song so well, and your pronunciation is on point.
I love different cultures being able to dabble and appreciate in one another.
Great job and great video. 🙌
A must is "hasta que te conocí " from this same concert in Bella's artes ! Our divo , maestro ! juan Gabriel and that jacket ✨✨ !!
I separated myself from my family as it was toxic. This song will alway make me cry because I remember some good times from my mom, but it hurts because I was never good enough for her to be talked about proudly. The child part of me loves her so much yet the adult me knows she hurt me in a way that therapy is barely putting me back together.
I hate crying because my dad taught to be a stoic man, I'm not as stoic but more than I should be with how I am. I hope if I have kids that when they hear this song they cry at the thought of losing me and then when I ultimately pass on cry in sadness and in memory of me
It's beautiful that you share and you seem like a great person. I hope things workout good for you and your family. Bless.
Gracias por tus palabras, my journey has been the same and therapy has been ongoing for decades, it is hard to reconcile your emotions as the healing comes from oneself
I so very much appreciate you explanations, reactions and more, Jess!
Very good analysis at the best composer at the speaking Spanish world yesterday today and probably tomorrow a truly virtuous singers
Best analysis so far. Thank you 😊
Thank you! 😊
Juan Gabriel is a master vocalist, but even if weren't so this song is a hymm to his mother. He is bearing all his soul and heart break, holding nothing back and bearing all his emotions in a very rare and genuine display of true love.🥺
Eternal Love. He is singing to his mother in heaven. When someone understands what he is saying, they cry because they think of a loved one that has passed away. This song has been played many times at funerals. He is saying he wishes his mother's eyes would have never closed. And that her eyes would still be looking at him. And he wished he did more for her. She passed away in Acapulco and that was the sadest memory from Acapulco.
I love watching the reaction videos of this song, because no matter if you speak the language or not he is able to reach into your heart, pull it out and show it to you! If that’s not raw power! I don’t know what is😢!
Me too, I seen hundreds if reactions to this song and keep enjoying the good ones like this one!
Best reaction I’ve seen so far. 🫡 you should react to more of his songs. It’s amazing how you explain the difficulty of what is actual singing. 💯
Great, great reaction! Thank you
Your analysis is amazing…..I love this song and have heard it 1000 times. Your analysis makes me love this performance even more great great job
Great reaction girl!!! I loved it, and is one of my favorites to this amazing Mexican anthem.
this one cuts DEEP. I get teary eyed every time I listen to this song
Very fantastic reaction!!!
I came across your video and I loved the way you explained the phrases, Juan Gabriel was one of the best and most amazing singers, songwriters, interpreter, showman that Mexican Music has, he was an artist and our divo, I saw him at a concerts and it was pure bliss, 3 hours and so and it was unforgettable. Most of his songs are so deep and passionate and yet relateable that there is no person even if they are not into Mexican music, that do not relate to what and how he sings. There have been very little videos that I enjoyed over this presentation because you actually talk about music, voice and interpretation. Thank you!
Thank you!
I really like you love this song Amor Eterno he's the goat juan Gabriel I love all the song VIVA MEXICO
PAPITO LINDO TE AMO! TU ERES Y SERAS SIEMPRE EL AMOR MAS GRANDE DE MI VIDA! AHORA Y SIEMPRE❤❤❤
I know everybody thinks about their moms! I love my Mom to death! But my Dad will always be the love of my life!
Amazing, and so are you.
What a good one analysis of this masterly song.
This has got to be one of the best breakdowns of this song! The breakdown of the vocals and lyrics simultaneously while going back to it! I feel like I learned something! 😅 but Watching people react to Juan Gabriel is so great! This song embodies “GRIEF” and no matter what language you speak you will FEEL this song touch your soul! Excellent reaction video! ❤
Omg i levedad your video and the Wayne you analize the song an everything ❤❤❤❤
The Spanish artist I would like to recommend is Camilo Sesto, a singer well known for his romantic ballads, but who brought to the stage the rock opera "Jesus Christ Superstar". His interpretation of the song Getsemaní is fantastic, and I would like to recommend it for the end of March, which is Holy Week.
Jess, you have to dive in to The Warning, 3 sisters from Mexico, all 3 sing, they are just amazing, Paulina just won Rock Drummer of the Year! And she sings while drumming!
I would suggest Dust to Dust, Survive or Evolve, where she's part lead singer. Live of course!
The Warning are amazing, they give the music in their blood
I've never heard of them! I will keep them in mind! Thanks Franck! If you (or anyone) has links to the best performances of these songs, feel free to leave them here 💛

im lucky to have seen hear him live on concert i still have my parents wife children but i woul disintegrate as a singer aswell if i lost them.....
I love your analysis. You really captured technique behind the emotion. Would love to see you do another song from him or from Jose Jose. Great channel.
Great analisis , I love that you are not just another reaction video, but you are actually analysing the song, in Mexico we consider Juan Gabriel as one of the masters in music, because he composed, sang and even danced!! he was a great performer and a show man, many people love him because his great hearth, his life is full of ups and downs and he overcame many difficulties, that is why he had this sensibility for music and art, he is considered one of the biggest contributions to mexican music and popular culture... I liked your video, very professional, all the best!
you have to react to vicente fernandez volver volver. Another mexican legend el rey del mariachi his voice and power is one of a kind
I would like to make a remark in the translation; in the phrase "Obligo a que olvide el pensamiento", you made a literal translation, but it is not the meaning of the phrase; that phrase means "I force myself not to think about you, to forget you". I think it is much more meaningful
you´re right... I'd translate the phrase more along the lines of "I force my thoughts to forget you", though your interpretation is 100% right... I just think it's closer to the imagery he uses in the song
Thank you Javier!
@@jessicasopranonotes je t'en prie
That's right
Te quiereo mucho
Eln ingles i love you
Great analysis. I recommend from Mexico to Alejandro Fernández, performing "Granada" it is a concert from Madrid called "Sin Escalas" ❤
You are great no even we latin people are able to explain what you did wow 😱
I think a better way to translate the sentence "obligo a que te olvide el pensamiento" is "I force my mind to forget you"
Hi, the song was also sang by Rocio Durcal also Juan Gabriel sang duet with Rocio
Please react to this entire concert, it is legendary, just subscribed to your channel, Juan Gabriel is my favorite performer/composer.
Great reaction. Would love for you to do Juan Gabriel: Hasta te Conoci. Thanks.
Very good reaction if you wanna hear some more Juan grabiel Here this one( lla lo se que tu te vas life from Bellas artes
Juan Gabriel esthetic mexican elvis presley if you really want to se him in action check out Hasta que te conoci. There is also another great singer that I think you will Is Vicente Fernandez singing with his son Alejandro Fernandez the song is perdon or Vicente singing volver volver. You will be amazed.
Can you react to Lisa Fischer's How Can I Ease The Pain and Vivian Reed's God Bless the Child? These 2 singers are so underrated.
Have you ever tought about being a spanish teacher (it doesn´t have to be spanish tho), I do really believe you have the ability
You sound great when you speak Spanish 😊
Thank you!
Please react to Luis Miguel, one of the best voices in latin music 🙌🏻
IF YOU THINK HE IS AMAZING WHEN HE PERFORMS THIS. MY MOM SAID YOU SHOULD WATCH ROCIO DURCAL PERFORM "AMOR ETERNO". SHE DOES IT EVEN BETTER. SHE THINKS OF HER SONS THAT DROWNED WHEN SHE SINGS IT. AMAZING PERFORMANCE FROM A SPANIARD SINGER, JUAN GABRIEL WAS MEXICAN, THEY WERE VERY CLOSE FOR SOME TIMES. HE WROTE SONGS FOR HER.
I just subscribed very good content but please react to a version with subtitles is a whole different Universe, take it from a Spanish speaking person. ❤
Check out anything from Vicente Fernandez
😊😊😊REMEMBERING GABRIEL HENRIQUE, INDICATE STAND UP, EARTH SONG, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS AND HOLY NIGHT😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I have to debunk this story. The real story is sadder. He didnt wrote this to his mom. He wrote the lyrics for Rocio Durcal (she was his friend at that moment), because Rocio lost her daughter in an Acapulco city beach, her daughter drown sadly, and if im not mistaken Rocio was present when this happened. So... if you pay attention to the lyrics it says something like ï know i could have done more for you" and "you are the saddest memory from Acapulco". But then Rocio said hurtful comments about Juan Gabriel sexuality so i believe that's why they lost their friendship and that's why now he dedicates the song to "his mom".... that actually, his mom abandoned him to work, first with her sister then in a reformatory.
Ps. my parents told me this story. and for what i can see in these days a lot of people believe the "mom" story, because there's not a lot of boomer parents that know the real story.
thank you very much for this video. I realy love latin music because it is much closer to Philippines classical music.
License to Ana Gabriel sone true feelings on her
Can I be an honorary Canadian and request the late great Canadian, Stan Rogers, singing Mary Ellen Carter? In addition to being a moving story song in strophic form, it has a lot of dipthongs and ugly words that he sings perfectly for their meaning, like "adversity" and "rise." An opera singer might sing those words differently but you might love it.
Sure! Here is the translation:
"Someday they will realize that this interpretation is a musical Monet."
Alright, listen up! This song is like a Mexican's secret Achilles' heel. Trust me, as a Mexican myself, I'm all in for this tune. But here's the twist-I can't actually listen to it without ending up in a serious emotional ditch. The way he sings it and tells his story, is a one-way ticket to Tearsville for anyone within earshot. Seriously, play this around a Mexican and it's either waterworks, misty eyes, or a sudden gloomy vibe😅
Artist ANGELA AGUILAR song LLORONA.
You neeed to put subs to understand the words
react to pedro infante , you will be surprised.
