I love opera and opera singers have huge voices. The problem is that most of the opera singers auditioning are "better" singers than the judges. Appearing on the THE VOICE gives these contestants exposure, which is good, but it's difficult for the judges to showcase an opera singer whose vocal ability exceeds their own. Not saying the judges aren't talented, they are just in a different league.

And they also realise, that their own vocal prowess is completely overshadowed by these classically trained voices. Just spectacular, all of them!

The first performance was amazing! the rest of them were good but not the best interpretations of those songs I've heard in the voice or got talent. Honestly, after you hear Amira Willighagen singing O Mio Babbino Caro on her old audition almost any other interpretation of it pales in comparison.
Yeah agree 100% - and also who the chosen judge for each singer is. For me very important as it rounds off each act beautifully AND most satisfyingly. The Voice was after all not conceived just for each singer to do his/her bit. It is much more holistic than that. Why were established/celebrity singers then chosen as judges ? ? ?
Just Google in RUclips for full auditions, if they are posted, because some voices post only performances not what happens after, especially picking teams ( USA)
