I hate how much I didn’t appreciate him and his music as a child growing up in a Mexican American household. Only now am I truly understanding the genius we all had with us.
To give folks a sense of how great he was, he wrote all those arrangements to his music, he wrote, he produce, he sang, he directed, only a hand full of people can hold a candle to his name and body of work.

He also wrote and gifted some songs to other artists he would say it was from his heart and to help a friend out- and they became rich and famous. He recently died of a heart attack not too long ago. JG lived his life helping so many people beginning with his mother, family and people in his hometown. He was such a great artist in many ways not only talent wise. Glad you’re a fan of his.

When JuanGa passed I mourned for my Mom again. He was a tremendous talent but personally he was a bridge to connecting to my Mothers memory. For that I'll forever be grateful.
