Put the graphics on wet and your alignment will be absolutely perfect every time and no bubbles. Use a heat gun and a squeegee and they stick just as good as putting them on dry.
If they wanted to do it that way.. they would of made the damn video that way.. they didnt.. There's always that one guy online, egos sooo big he's gotta run it out no matter what the case is. 🤦♂️
@@idecidenotyouno ego here bud. Jay has been doing this for 30+ years and sometimes his graphics still come out crooked. Average buy doesn’t do this everyday so applying graphics wet is a lot more forgiving when it comes to placement and removing bubbles.
do not use paper towels for cleaning, they are not suitable they absorb the cleaning agent and begin to leave behind debris, a microfiber cloth should be used each time you clean in addition, the stickers must be glued from one edge to the other to push out the air, and not to run it over the fork with your hand
Would you recommend putting the graphics on the plastics while it’s on the bike ? Or would it be better to put them on if you just had the plastics off the bike? Thx
I just keep my bikes with their stock graphics, my desert racing days are behind me as is the sponsorship decals. Makes me chuckle when i see someone with a complete graphics kit like this when you know darn well that if they use 20% of all items listed it would be a miracle. Just my opinion. 😊
When doing the side number graphics, if you just have numbers to put on and not the whole sheet, do you ever put them on straight up and down or is that just a rule of thumb they always go in at an angle? I was just wondering if people do that or if its like you get laughed at for doing it that way

@@a_drewski again ego issues dude.. the pathetic response that you followed up on only insured the one I left was spot on..
Jim is the most patient person I know!
Great video
Not sure I trust myself with a torch😬. Will stick with a heat gun! Great lesson; you apply graphics almost as quickly as you dismount and mount tires!
A hair dryer works too…much more controllable!
@@jesseleblanc989thats what I was thinking
A few drops of dish soap/water in squirt bottle, hair dryer, squeegee. I've had good luck also with Equate Hand Sanitizer
Twitch likes it when you have FMF graphics... LOL I like it anyways that what my favorite race bikes have. big thumbs up.
So lots of heat and patience
Looks amazing! Great video. Thanks for the tips.
Real good tidy video really learned loads from this.
I’ve never been fast enough to need graphics. I do still have a crush on the old Bomber Girl graphics.
Thank you! I've been waiting for this video
Nice job, JC.
This video very relaxing I enjoy thanks
Good eye 👍
So Rad!
AKA how to singe your arm and hand hair off! 😁
Great job
Can you use a hairdryer instead of a heat gun?
Yes
a heat gun is like 1$ at harbor frieght
You make that look so easy. I can’t get it done without windex and a heat gun

Trying to make a straight forward job look complicated with a heat gun. Hope you drain the petrol out the petrol tank when you use that heat gun lol

Do you need to use a heat gun for sticker kit
PLEASE HELP
Where did you get those louver decals i can't fime them anywhere ???

That’s just what I was afraid of…looking silly.
Should have titled this: Watch how fast the MF can get these stickers on
That torch is completely silly...heat guns arfe the way to go, if you need any heat.
A torch??? For real? Use a heat gun...

What a butcher, I would not let this guy work on my lawn mower 😅
