THE FUTURE IS HERE! R211T Open Gangway cars ENTER SERVICE on the (C) line!

On February 1st, 2024, R211T cars 4040-4044 and 4050-4054 entered service on the (C) line. Before this, the train was at 207 St Yard, where a press conference was held. The train the deadheaded to Inwood-207 St terminal where only government and MTA officials could ride the train from Inwood-207 St to Washington Heights-168 St, where the train entered passenger service on the (C) line.
