IRT Lexington Av Line: (6)(6X) Action @Spring St + R142A (6) & (4)(5) Express.

Weekend General Orders caused R142As from Jerome Av Yard (4) to be loaned to the (6) line, a rare chance to see NTTs on the (6) line.

I was in the subway on Monday 2 days ago, but I didn't know there would be a 6 train with the R142A model burrowed from the 4 line.

Some Of the R142As used to run on the Pelham 6 line before they were sent to the 7 Flushing line and the 4 Jerome Ave 4. That's the reason they have all the R62AS back on the Pelham 6 line. The R262/As will replace all the R62AS on the 1 3 6 S lines for CBTCS real soon. They have not find a builders for the R262/As as of yet. The R62S R62AS has to hang in there for a little while longer until they find a builder and company to start building the R262/As open and close ways for the iRT A devisins.

When the r62a retires, the r142a should return back to the 6

In three more years to retire. The Pelham 6 line is gonna have mix equipments when the brand new R262/As open and close ways gets here. R142As R262As on the Pelham 6 line. For now the 6 has deal with the R62as until the R262/As gets here.

They definitely need to put a regular R62S on the Pelham 6 line just like the 1 Broadway line has.
