R211A on the Rockaway Park (S) Shuttle!

The decreasing numbers of R46s caused for an R211A from Rockaway Park Yard to be sent out into service on the Rockaway Park Shuttle on Saturday, July 13th, 2024. This is the second time an R211 runs on a route other than the (A) and (C) lines. The R211 is a train built to replace the aging R46 cars, so in this video, we see history taking place. It also happened to be on a summer weekend when the Rockaway Shuttle line is extended from Broad Channel to Rockaway Blvd! Enjoy!

Why would you say it is a bad thing that the R46 is never coming back it should be a great thing for more brand new R211A & R211T into service :)
