The Z line ranks higher than the audio quality - Sorry but the huge narration volume dips 🤧
Yeah…
yeah@@nicholasstanton9575
i like how he didn't make a claim for it and just put it in D
Lmao😂😂😂😂
NYC accent be crazier than in the last version
Dont know if you noticed, but there's definitely a few dips in audio volume
Yeah the issue arose when I had to remove my licensed music out of the video. The first time I tried to upload it, RUclips decided to send a copyright notice.
@@MysticTransitgonna fix it?
@@ommy7672 I feel all he needs to do it put a warning on a pinned comment. Its not too bad
Tbh I can understand why the F is B-tier, but to put it out there, I've still seen two or three F trains come before an E at Roosevelt Ave. And that was even before the 63 st construction began. I feel like the F, just like the E, also deserves an A rating. It does fantastic on QBL, 6 Ave, and really frequent service on Culver (tho I wish F trains always ran express on Culver).
As a former F-rider I've always been proud of their frequent service. however...
F has too many stops in Brooklyn with a lengthy commute that is exacerbated by whiny Yuppies in North Brooklyn who are adamant to sharing some of their capacity with a proper express service.
No way a train that takes an hour to go from Gravesend to Manhattan should be in A tier.
@@Interstella-ni3vhthat’s why the f should run express in Culver bc it would be a faster ride
imo f train should be exp in south culver not so much north becuase north culver wheres all the riders are and in south culver no one theres look at bay pkway least used station only important station there is kings hway which is an exp station @@RealMadridFan1117
As an A train rider, this should get no higher than a B- grade. 6 tph during rush hours and always getting held up at 59st, 145st and 168th. It barely outruns the 1 LOCAL on its way to Inwood 😮💨😒
Unless they de-interline the Cranberry-Tubes and 59st Junction this line will never improve..
Agreed, the delays abnormal at times plus the service changes be baffling
But why be held up at 168th Street
Where have you EVER seen the A run SIX TRAINS per HOUR during rush hour?
@@Bombardier2199 the Rockaways
The best way to deinterline the Cranberry tubes would require the C and E running together on Cranberry. This would mean that the A would be a local route running from Norwood 205th St to WTC. This requires the C to be moved to the QBL to 179th St leaving the E as it is. With that the C would do express service on its line and this proposed C would be at 24tph while the E does 12tph to Euclid. The C would better handle the three branches after Euclid as each branch of the proposed C Train would also replace the inconsistent H Shuttle to Rockaway as the C would have to alternate between 3 terminals.
Concourse riders would have to get used to 8th Ave service one way or another as the A would have more capacity than the D at Concourse.
The A has to end at Norwood because of how the 59th St Junction works.
For the A/C/E
A: Norwood 205th St to WTC
C: Jamaica 179th St to Lefferts Blvd/Rockaways
E: Jamaica Center to Euclid Ave
The B and D would be required to take the Inwood Branch under this pattern
B: Inwood 207th St to Coney Island (Sea Beach)
D: 168th St to Bay Ridge 95th St
You are sooo real about the 2 beyond E 180th 😂😂😂😂 and IM SOOOOOO GLAD YOU’RE GIVING THE 6 HER THINGS!!!!!!!!!
D train solos. It takes you in the major areas of NYC, and even in south Brooklyn, where you don’t have much service anyway.
That very true. It does goes to important spots in the city. It better then the A and C but it does take around 12 to 8 minutes for the concourse.
The 6 train: You dare challenge me mortal?
Error: you were silent in parts of the the 5, j, and q.
Ah yes, ranking bullets, my favorite! (Entertaining video, keep up the good work!)
Thanks! I will!
I think the 2 is at least an a tier because they take very good care of their cars. Mosholu needs to do a much better job with treating their cars well. The 2 is the goat of the 🔴7 Av Line🔴 in my opinion.
Always been the goat especially during the Redbirds era
agree on the 5. I take it daily, and I love Jessica's announcements.
this is a manHATTEN bound FIVE express train
I completely understand about the 1, the trains are much more dirty and now the headways are starting to slow, however the 3 was done extremely dirty. The 3 train runs really well on weekday rush hours. Sure, the 2 runs more often but the 3 is more of a support. The 3 runs really fast and the way you claimed the headways are pretty exaggerated. Sometimes I see more 3 trains than 2 trains. The 3 runs well on the el part but struggles at Roger’s. Other than that it’s a very solid line. It doesn’t get crowded during rush hours except near midtown, has decent headways, and serves a very well purpose. I feel like it should be placed in A tier.
7 train is godly!!!
Except for v recently lol I swear there’s some multi-day issue goin on
This is a well thought out list. I think the 3 was done dirty here, though. As someone who lives at a 2, 3 stop, I'm always hoping for a 3 over a 2.
3 is just a 2 train that ends at 148st. Them terrible local in Brooklyn
@williamerazo3921 the 3 is way less crowded, which is especially nice during rush hour.
No I made a tier list bvieeo
Same, but mainly because I’m tired of hearing Dianne’s “THE NEXT STAHP IS” over Jessica’s “THE NAYAXT STOP IS!”
The E Line is one of the common lines I've been on because when I arrive into New York JFK from London Heathrow, I take the AirTrain from JFK Terminal 8 to Jamaica Station and then catch the Subway at Sutphin Boulevard Archer Avenue JFK Airport. I like taking the E Line from Sutphin Boulevard Archer Avenue JFK Airport to any Station in Manhattan because when an E Line train arrives from its eastern terminus at Jamaica Centre-Parsons/ Archer, the train is nearly empty so there's plenty of room onboard each carriage for air travellers like me who have flown into New York JFK and the journey times on the E Line are very good as well.
It's either that or take a painfully 5 business year long wait for the A train at Howard Beach which the AirTrain links up so you got the better service (I'm not American just saying)
Thanks for uploading sir!
1:10 its kinda hard getting the r62a's to 239th street yard & 180th street yard to be cleaned because the r62's for the (3) and r142's for the (2) have to share that same wash
As a #5 Dyre Avenue line rider for 44 plus years, I would give this line a B tier because of the headways during rush hours as well. Like the A line with different terminals in Queens, the 5 line has different terminals in the Bronx. During rush hours, the headways to and from Dyre Avenue can be 12 to 15 minutes waiting for a train. If we’re all paying the same fare, we should all get decent service.
Not really. White planes Rd have more ridership
@@williamerazo3921 I know the WPR line has more ridership. The Dyre Avenue line does have a good descent ridership especially during rush hours with folks going to and from work and students going to school in the morning. There are schools at each stop on the Dyre Avenue line. That's no excuse for the long waits.

The Nyc accent is crazy . 😂
Pretty interesting video, was wondering if you would be interested in making a video on how service can be adjusted based on raising speed limits across certain trunks in the system, thought that would be a cool idea for a video that many may be interested in. Queens Blvd has one of the fastest trains I've seen in a while but it'll never compare to what 7th Ave used to look like when Redbirds were on the 2 and the 3 had 9 car R62As,and over the years, certain trunk lines have definitely slowed down.
the seven is still godly.
Always has been, always will be.

I always thought the L was the best B division line back when I lived near Myrtle wycoff but when I moved to howard beach near the A and I needed to take the L more often, I saw exactly the real L train. I see huge problems in 14th st Union square with the crowding and I see often pushing and shoving and holding doors, even if it runs 3-4 mins I still try to find a way to avoid it because I don’t wanna deal with that crowding. I once had to wait 30 mins in Myrtle wycoff for the L, that is unacceptable. If your in an emergency then the L is needed but other than that I don’t really see it being useful for me. This train should be no more than A-
I never had issues on the 2 line living in the bronx i lived on Pelham parkway i had friend's in burke ave and in Allerton idk how it is now but i loved it the only lines i dislike are the 4,5,6 lines also the N and W i always wait at least an hour for the train even on the week day's it'll take so long to arrive

As someone from Brooklyn I think the D and N should be higher, and the F should be lower. It's too slow in Brooklyn and is a slog. Should run express permanently
I agree the F should run Exp in Brooklyn, but the D/N shouldn’t be much higher than where they are. Both have horrible, inconsistent gaps, and are pretty slow for getting to Coney Island.
@@MysticTransitputting the N and Z in the same section is crazy
lmaoo the golf
btw are you planning on working for the mta
yooo new mysic upload! cant wait to watch!
The D line really needs better headways, it’s literally 14 mins on Sunday. And even during the week I find myself waiting a lot. Supposedly they are going to improve the headways to 8 mins during the week, but even then that’s not until a year from now.
This man put the 6 in S-Tier…. Unsubscribed lol and I work there
Was waiting for at 125 got it then then switch to local for the Bronx run after 3 Ave middle finger 🖕 to operation.
Can we talk about how during the flood the 7 was the only line not to go down
I also completely disagree about the Franklin ave shuttle. If you go strictly off of service it’s not the most impressive line but in terms of the purpose it serves it is sooooo important! Strictly on the subway the S is the only train that links south and north Brooklyn. The G kinda does it but in a really long roundabout way. Without the S there’d be absolutely no way to get from bed stuy to say Flatbush or crown heights
Could you possibly do an updated rolling stock tier list
Overall my favorite for the number lines are (1),(3),(6), and (7) .

@@darchon65u right smh imma update it
Finally someone giving my (E) train the respect it deserves 😭
4:53 - Do you know Jessica and Diane?!
From a person who always used the N, I disagree with it being D tier, I do think it has fallen off when R160s got off of it for the Coney Island R46s and R68s, I would have given it a B easily when it had R160s, now every time I take it Brooklyn, the R would catch up to it from 59st to Atlantic Ave, when it’s supposed to be express! That’s insane! In terms of timings I think I get lucky, with it coming every 5-8 minutes, at worst being 10. Despite that I don’t think the line is that bad at all to use on a consistent basis, it does have some speed still in Manhattan, whilst rare now. For me it should at bare minimum have a C.
What really should be in d tier is the orange m like it's to much for any one and there's nothing special about it, it's just combination 2 limes into a worse piece of junk, for service just walk to woodhaven blvd for QBL/Q60, I don't understand how hard it is, this orange m is only made for disabled people or those that have 0 common sense in their lives. N should be b-tier while the z disgrace can join the orange M into the D tier like it's overrated.
Keep the good work mystic
Thanks! Will do!
You pull out the New York accent more for the tier lists than your informative videos, it’s welcome and a smart decision
Would you bump up the G at all once the CBTC project is complete? Or were you already factoring that in when you placed it in B tier?
I would bump up the (G) if/when it runs longer trains & when CBTC installation is complete.

Because the T doesn’t exist yet
@@AmirFromNYCprobably won’t exist, implementation for 2av subway probably won’t happen, instead the Q will be extended as the 125st crosstown all the way west instead. OR probably will exist but my guess till around 2029 😂
I live on the B in The Bronx
In terms of Jessica’s voice, she’s aggressive on the 4 and 5, NOT the 6. She sounds dead and slow and tired.
The 7 being godly will never change AT ALL. It is the best line in the system, but not my favorite unfortunately but it’s definitely amazing. Fun fact: I will get Queensboro Plaza eventually.
I'm glad you put the L in the S Tier. Because it's my hometown line.
Accurate and Respectable Rankings
i use to ride the N everyday to school and i have to say, altho it is my favorite line, i has lots of problems. Man i wish R160s was still there 😢
My guy…if there’s delays blame the f’n people who f up the schedule and destroying trains plus employee availability. I’ve been in RTO for 12 1/2 years. It’s all the “customers” who mess things up. Please emphasize this is “your opinion” not based on facts.
Fun fact: N stands for never, so it is totally normal for it to have poor headways 😂
I live on the 2
My rating isn't any where nearly as sophisticated as yours is. I like the IND best, then the BMT, and then the IRT. That is due their modernity and track layout. The IND has the most modern track layout, and the IRT, for the most part, is more primitive due to mostly being built earlier. The B, D, and F are my most favourite because of the routings. I rode the F once 8 or so years ago from 34th St to Jamaica and back hoping for a racy express run under Queens Blvd. I was disappointed because the local overtook us. I'm not privy to what the holdup was for. I should have gone up 8th Ave if I wanted a fast express ride, I suppose. I'm not an expert on your operations, as I'm from a suburb on the west side of Toronto, Ontario, and don't come there often enough.
Aarre Peltomaa of Mississauga, Ontario
p.s. Our Yonge-University-Spadina Line in the core section has trains run every 90 seconds; Eat your heart out. It's boring, but very, very functional.
This is just service frequency, but putting the 6 Train in S Tier is very controversial, because I personally don’t see it as a very good train especially if you life north of Union Square and south of 59th is just drama
Are employed by the MTA? If not do you want to be? NYCT? LIRR? MNR? C&D? MTA Bus?
I think you might have audio troubles on the 5 line. Can you at least delete it, fix it and then reupload it with the improved audio.
I was at Nostrand Avenue , I would have to ending wait NINETEEN MINUTES
I tell people that the 6 express is better than the 7 express, but people don't believe me.....
IMO, it’s not better than the 7 Exp. The 7 Exp saves much more time than the 6 Exp does. However, I think the 6 Exp is more useful for riders because it runs all-day, unlike the 7 Exp.
@@MysticTransit the all- day service is what gives it the edge over the 7x for me
The Pelham express is horrible.
@@sparkswolverinethe 6 express is not "horrible" it just need CBTC first.
Dude it's not, that utter bullcrap at Parkchester where locals need to cut in front of express trains inorder to short turn is terrible.
2:30 i mean u not wrong it can get pretty ghetto between Allerton - 219th plus during rush hours u have to deal with Evander High Schoolers & Richard R Green Middle Schoolers
4:20 instead of washing the r142a's they have 142's from 239 do the work until they are dirty
0:15 - Do all Subway cars have batteries on-board so traction-motors keep running, and passenger's lighting stays on, while the train passes a gap of the third-rail? I think lighting would have flicked out at these gaps.
N got done dirty 😭
Waiting for an uptown D at 59th during rush hour will make you lose your faith. It just completely vanishes during the busiest part of the day.
An r62 on the 2 line wow that's a surprise cause you never see r62s on the 2 line since it uses all new trains the r142s. So it's like back in the day all over again when the 2 used to use the r62s. Subway memories of the train all lines used to use back in the day.
I believe on Astor pl on the 6 one of the platforms i believe its the Brookly bridge bound one there is a store
Other lines I have something to say
42st shuttle-its a good line i agree with S tier because some of the cars have designes on it
A-Its one of the longest if not the longest B divison line in the system along with the F/R and is the line the MTA seems to be most focused on in terms of giving new trains as they gave that line R211 first over any other line
M-probally one of the wiedest lines in the system also the only lines that enters a borough twice and it
N-I kinda agree you on it being the worst line in the system if there is a subway incident its always the N and always in south brooklyn
Z-I agree completly ITS USLESS TO MAKE IT BETTER MAKE IT RUN TO BROOKLY OR HAVE SOME MAJOR CONSTRUCTION ALONG JAMACIA AVENUE AND BROADWAY!
Whats with the audio issues? Keep cutting off and lowered volume down there
E don’t get talk about because signaling is still wonky and it’s a local In manhattan
You're right about the N train line. N for Nasty service. Especially during late night.
The J is pretty bad because i take the J to 104 street and 23 mins wait is crazy
The 1 is my train! But wayyyy too often it's out of commission past 137th st, which makes it unuseable for me, and the "shuttles" are always so sketchy and not a replacement for the same route. B tier because of this, imo.
why did you not show a video of the R142A 6 train
no offense but there's no way u rated the b higher than an E but here me out i get u i get u and this is not hate
Great video
I completely agree with the B train Brighton express is probably my favorite section of subway in the entire system
“She has that nice aggressiveness”, I always thought this about the 5 train
I can barely hear you in some clips
I love you but idk man seeing the 5 ahead of the 4 early in the video… idk man doesn’t make sense to me and the 1 over na…
I have a video idea for you: ranking the retired rolling stock
🙌🙌🙌 5 getting some love you forgot the Bronx Thru Express
The 1 needs some NTTs. The SMEEs on that line needs more work.
2 and 4 hold the number trains in Brooklyn
I like the N ride it daily doesnt have those long wait times for me
C is SS tier cuz it looks like me
A train stands for absolute weak.
Allerton and Burke Ave is not the hood !
The B train is an S tier line, frequent service, howling R68/As and it connects me to most lines I need to transfer to. Also the R40S, R40M and R42s were legendary on the B train
HOW di the chose to namr new kines,
The B should run on the weekend for Brighton express
As a tourist from Chicago, which is the better line to ride In your opinion?
If you want the best experience, I'd say the (A) or (7). Both lines have excellent views, and the (7) especially is extremely frequent.
The F train is back on 63 street now. What would you rank it this time?
F lol
Great video but the volume needs to be fixed
R62s should never be on the 2 train
B trains R 40’slants before fleet change to R68s and switching to concourse
The (B) still uses CI yard, and it got its R68/As from the (N) (Q) and (W), as did the (G) when it’s R46s went to the (A) and (C)
