I love these lenses, i purchased them directly from Sirui here in Europe, and paid €379+shipping. I first got the 55mm and immediatelly fell in love with it so i got the 24 and 35 to complete the set. You can't go wrong with these lenses. I almost pulled the trigger on the Zhongyi Mitakon Speedmaster T1.0 S35 Cine set but they cost €200 more each, so i decided to save some money and go with Sirui. I use them at 1.2 on my FX30 all the time and i love the softness. I have used my Sigma 56, 30 and 16 1.4 lenses and while they are excellent and super sharp, sometimes that clinical sharpness is just too much and these Sirui lenses came in perfectly for my wedding/corporate/event films. This is not my first set of cinema lenses but it is quickly becoming my favorite!

The single greatest frame occurs at 8:29. What a looker! The delighted expression! Such bokeh! The fringing on this glass at max is threateningly bombastic. An inch from unhinged. Purples and greens flying around everywhere. Tight review, thank you for doing the legwork.

I own the Surui carbon travel tripod, big ball head, and monopod as well as their cage for the fx3/30 and now 2 of their anamorphic lenses.
I literally love every single product I own from Surui. Customer for life for sure.

I ended up ordering in black before I even saw super 35 and I'm shooting full frame on the Canon R5C. I could either return them or keep them and shoot in super 35 mode. Luckily the cannon offers that and you can even shoot in Cannon raw.

I’ve been waiting for a good review before making my purchase. My main question was answered and unfortunately, that’s a dealbreaker. What’s the point of getting a 1.2 if that’s exactly the weakest point of the lenses? There is a reason why good fast lenses are expensive. Thank you for the honest review.

You shouldn’t be comparing image quality between a cinema lens that is meant for video against an autofocus lens that is meant for photos. Cinema lenses are not digitally sharp like photo lenses and most Cine lenses are not meant to be optically perfect like photo lenses.

Extended viewing of overly sharp content is fatiguing to the eye as well as being less flattering to faces/ skin etc as there will be no retouching etc to faces. A level of sharpness is OK but not the "focus" of cinema lenses. Still lenses on the other hand typically excel at this.
