Just saw this episode today & a decade later they're still married. Wow! It was meant to be. Recall someone mentioned his two previous marriages may not be a good thing. Laughed when someone said, "He better behave!" Nice to know they're together. Hopefully to this day.

My mom is Hispanic & my dad is Japanese. Their 1st date in Miami consisted of a lot of finger pointing and a lot of smiling to communicate. 44yrs later, they r still happily married and have learned to speak English together

I found Maria Cristina and David on social media. They just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in December and she was gushing over him! Looks like she became an American citizen a few years ago and is selling insurance.

She came to Canada 14 months later, and we spoke weekly during those 14 months. We married 88 days later. We will celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary in a few months. In fact, she will be on a trip home to the Philippines, our first anniversary being apart.

My neighbor traveled to Ukraine and ended up marrying a 10+. She is taller then him. 8 year age gap. They have been together for 7+ years. He put her through school. She is a career woman now. He had 2 daughters from a previous marriage. Both daughters love her. They are happily married and have a great relationship.
That's what you see from the outside you really don't know what goes on behind closed doors. She could just be waiting for a better opportunity only time will tell

Not sure about the situation, but I can see some parents being tempted due to fear of being alone to stand y their new mate. However, depending on their off spring age they need to come first. For example, if the child was 24 and being a brat then no, if the child was 10 then that new person has to go the child comes first. See so to me it depends, in the end though you should do everything to keep your family together for they are blood. The other person might love you for now, but they can leave just as easily as they arrived, blood wont change.

Honestly my husband & I knew very quickly that what we had was special and heading somewhere… we’ve now been married for 21 years this month in fact! Together for 22 & have 2 amazingly healthy, intelligent, sweet, beautiful , & well mannered children! We are still very much in love, still get butterflies on date night!! He’s very much my King & I his Queen..

Compatibility, shared values and both people having the will to make a relationship work are the most important things. People can work out the details if they know what they want deep down in their soul. It doesn’t need to be a long dating process.

when i meet my husband the first night i saw him and talked to him, i knew he was the one. 14 yrs later we have 3 intelligent and handsome boys and still going strong. I never had insecurities issues towards other girls, never had trust issues, never had a problem with him being a responsible guy and dad but i have to admit that we both went thru so much together because we meet when i was still 19 yrs old and he was 21.. we were both extremely immature, we had so much disagreements but one thing im so thankful is that even now with our 30s, we have grown so much!!! so much like woow. we constantly learn and adjust with each other and one things for sure..respecting your relationship and listening to each other and be willing to compromise a lil bit to keep the relationship healthy is very important..like when he have to adjust with me being a person with ADHD and me not abusing his patients and constantly finding ways to better myself. sorry if i talk so much but the ending is that i think i have no problem seeing Cristina and David falling inlove in less than a week.

I'm glad it worked out for David & Maria Christina. But look, he's decent, attractive, maybe a 5 or to some women, a 6. You don't see the guys that are REPULSIVE scoring too often, they are the ones that get ghosted. He has a really good PERSONALITY, laughing constantly. He also had plenty pictures OF HIS HOUSE which is decent on a good street, good area. So he's decent all around. Some of these guys live on strange farms, in strange areas, remote or ugly areas, so besides being repulsive, their environments also are not inviting. Then there's the zombies. One guy here was a zombie, besides being ugly, his personality was a toad. And that poor skinny girl explained herself to him in English - & in the next breath he said to the interpreter, 'Are we moving?" {to the next table} No tact. Toad. Repulsive.

I think that guy got turn off because when that girl explained that she has a small daughter and lives with her family and siblings,he just thought that is too much hassle

Ouch! Yeah, that was sad. You could hear both of them dying inside a little. He sure didn’t like the idea of an energetic toddler, and a multi-generational family. The poor girl seemed to be on the verge of tears throughout the event, and his gum-chewing lack of interest didn’t help. Karen strikes me as a romantic who wanted to be someone’s special woman. Not temperamentally suited for the meat market. I hope she found someone who could give her some of what she needs.
What a wonderful documentary, no matter what we all think, it’s good to see love still exists....

A few years ago, I would've had negative views on finding love in this manner. And now I think, how is this any different than online dating? Love can be found anywhere in the world. With the internet at our fingertips, it is easily accessible. How these men are going about it seems much safer since you get to meet the prospects in person. Sure, you pay a lot of money but you're paying for having some level of security and they seem to be very respectful of each other. I'm sure there are men who probably aren't genuinely looking for love but that also happens within your own country. Love has zero boundaries. I hope David and Cristina are happily married.
