Great tutorial! Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
I have a question and this might sound really dumb. My Pontiac g6 2005’s steering wheel is a little stiff, mostly when I’m trying to get out of a parking spot. This car was my grandmas and it has only 18k miles when I got it last year because she couldn’t drive anymore. I bought more power steering wheel fluid because my cousin said I probably needed some. Now Ik Pontiac cars are hard to come by so youtube isn’t the most helpful. I couldn’t locate the area to put more fluid so I started googling. Some people say that there is no where to put this fluid because some pontiacs are electrical or something. And some people say that it’s hidden somewhere under the hood, out of sight. Do you possibly know where it is or even it even exists 😭
There like 43,000 miles now btw
Sounds like you have a 4 cyl G6 which means you will NOT have a place under the hood to add power steering fluid. These electrical power steering systems GM/Pontiac used are not all that great.

I have a 2009 and can't seem to find a straight answer on which filter I need. Can you give me some advice on which one I should get?
What size motor do you have in your G6?

When would I put in the oil stabilizer
At your next oil change, just leave out a bit of oil for the stabilizer.
I would do it next oil change. Also before changing your oil you should get some seafoam engine cleaner and pour it into your oil I believe it's an oz per quart and that'll help get rid of all the nasty deposits so when you change your oil your car will run so much better. Good after you change the filter and your oil put the stabilizer in and just replace one bottle of oil for an equal amount of stabilizer so one quart stabilizer to 4 oil or whatever your car needs. Add the seafood to your gas as well and they even make a spray for the carburetor just take off your air intake push the valve back with your finger and spray the Sea foam into your air take while the car is running and make someone push the grass pedal a bit while spraying the whole can slowly and you'll see some smoke and exhaust deposits coming out your muffler it makes a huge difference. Don't worry because that's normal and it'll stop smoking after a few minutes after those deposits burn off
I actually figured out 4 quarts of oil for the 3.5 L V6 for the G6 is wrong it actually takes closer to 4 1/2 QT because of filling the oil filter
You fill the oil filter with the new oil before you put it on?
Yes you do.
