- In this video I bring you guys into my world of trying out new products to add to my shop. This video is not a tutorial but a how I start out trying something completely new. I want you guys to see things are not always perfect the first time and how you can learn what works and what doesn't to apply to the next time until it comes out right. I will definitely make a follow up once I get the settings dialed in for this particular type of tumbler.

This helped me so much! I tried engraving on a 40oz Ozark Trail and the laser holder thing kept hitting the handle pieces. It luckily still came out okay, but I couldn't lift the bottom completely level because of that, so it was a tad darker than the top of the cup. I had no idea I could take the tray out. I can't wait to give this another shot with another 40oz. Thank you for this video!

I know it’s more expense but the new RA2 accessory saves all that fiddling with rollers, also has self levelling adjustment for tapered tumblers and other things. Keep the videos coming
I was going to mention this as well and it also has a laser to ensure you are at the center and most top of the cups. For ideal focus!
Another great video! I'd like to share a few tips to help out. Here are two things I recommend buying: the RA2 Pro attachment from xTool and a sublimation tumbler wrap measuring tape. For settings with my 20W S1, I use P=90, speed=450, and lines=300 for all my white powder-coated tumblers. When dealing with the slant near the bottom of the tumblers, that's where you want to measure your distance from. I always run a material test with new products. For tumblers, I use half circles and face the halves away from each other. I then run tests until the two halves form a complete circle. Again, great video! Keep making amazing content

Also get your distance from the center part of the slant between the upper and lower diameter of the tumbler. This is part of why your lower portion didn’t engrave completely. The laser was to far away.

Your video was great! What I noticed when I try to engrave is that I have to mirror my image. Should I have to do that?
It depends if you use the rotary setting or Chuck. I found with the Chuck setting the engraving did not need adjustment it engraved exactly how it looked in xcs.
