The story behind the song is, there was a party in a rich man's house for his daughter's return after her college, there was a lot of leftover foods from the party, so he invited the nearby less fortunate people to take over the food, but for them it's a huge party... so they were enjoying and dancing 🕺 while eating...
The girl who was bored with her own party enjoyed this dance party... that's what she told at the end.. as this is the real party...

Masala is basically a mixture of all kinds of spices. So any movie which is a mixture of genres is called a masala movie. A masala movie will tend to have emotional stories mixed with a comedy track, different kinds of songs etc. So any movie which doesnt have a single tone like what is common in western movies can be termed as a masala movie.

In Tamilnadu it's called Kuthu song ! .. kuthu means a punch or a great beat ! ... Especially that drum called Parai exclusive in Tamilnadu only .... Dancing to that high energy Beat , there is no specific moment u can dance ur heart out and forget all the worries that's it.

This specific 6 beat cycle occurs in a form of Tamil folk music colloquially called *KOOTTHU* or *GAANAA* or *DAPPAANKUTTHU* . Traditional Tamil folk instruments are generally used. For percussion you have KOTTU and PARAI and wind instruments like MOGANAAYAM (a smaller folk version of Nadhaswaram) are used.
the theme is the heroine of this story who is a rich girl befriended prabhudeva who is from a poor background. she invited him and his friends to her birthday party, prabhudeva and his friends seeing these kind of lavish party for the first time in their life and they are overwhelmed by the happiness and dont know what to do. Prabhudeva is a pure genius and is usual casual comic sense which no one could ever imagine of.
