If I can add something regarding the D80. This body has a built in focus motor as opposed the D5000 series of cameras. This means this camera is compatible with every AF lens Nikon has produced since the 80's. Now keep in mind that these are all full frame so the 1.5X crop factor applies. But there many, many older used Nikon AF lenses out there that are absolutely wonderful and budget friendly. Also the saturation and colours are great straight out of the camera owing to its fabulous CCD sensor. It may be 15 years old but still relevant today. My main camera is a D610 but I enjoy the D80 just as much, especially for its simplicity. Cheeers
I'm happy to find your channel. I've inherited a Nikon d80 from my daughter. it came with VR lens 55-200 mm. I have no idea if that's how you say it. I have no idea how to use this or what I'm doing but will be watching more and more thank you!
Just a suggestion. Consider indicating (a note on screen) which camera you are using when showing the composition using the rear LCD. Some may think it's actually the D80 on screen.
i see on the online shop the d80 with 15 135mm, is it good to consider? how about the lens is it great for bokeh? if you recommendded it i will buy it !
Find a prime lens for bokeh, although zoom lens can also do this but you are better of lens with aperture 1.8 down, you have more control and good in low light. D80 doesn't have video so if you're okay with that and it's cheap go for it 🙂
Hello I have a Nikon d80 and I am trying to shoot my puppies on a table with a backdrop behind it what are the basic settings you would recommend I believe my lens are 55 to 118
select P on the dial that is on top of the camera. select the 'automatic' flash mode. select 'fine', 'sharp' in menu. select matrix metering. back the exposure value down by -.3 f stop.

great suggestion my friend! I will probably pin it on the comment section. that's right, D80 doesnt have that!! 😉✌️♥️
I have buy these in 2004 and its still good in 2021 🤘🏻
Good to know bud! Much cheaper now too and still reliable!
Me too, but in 300+ ISO this camera has a lot of noise
yeah I think you need to use flash, softbox or diffuser for lowlight.
How do you get the screen to show what you are capturing
How did u use your screen
