In a world where a millimeter of mistake can be the difference of survival or demise, the ability to shoot two extra rounds without reloading, to reload much faster, or having a better grip of your weapon as to minimize chance of slipping just sounds much more valuable, which makes these upgrade animations somewhat much more satisfying.
In a world like that, am not sure you could maintain your weapons like that or why would anyone need to find a table in order to clean and upgrade a weapon, can’t they just do that anywhere safe enough to perform this task??
just noticed that when you upgraded the semi-auto pistol the first time, Ellie cocked it before putting the magazine in, therefore not putting a round in the chamber. When you go to upgrade the gun again, she does the same thing a second time, but no bullet comes out. Attention to detail is insane
@@juaneerother than one upgrade animation you clearly see her pull back the slide. if she “dropped the slide forward” she would’ve used the slide release. don’t try to correct people when you’re wrong.. i bet you call silencers suppressors too cus an internet guy said so. look up the first patent for a gun silencer lol
Multiple guns in this game have weird changes like this eg: Abby's pistol is a cross between a Glock and an Steyr M9 pistol. Abby's Assault Rifle Is a Vepa Hunter And A Motot VPO combined. And lastly the Sig Mpx uses a Ak style charging handle.
Y'know, it would be fun, despite being unrealistic, if the reload speed upgrade was Ellie/Joel in TLOU1 "shadow training" their reload styles as if to acclimatize themselves to a new reloading style to actually speed up. Also, if they install an optic like a scope, it would be great if Joel in TLOU1 actually zeroes the optics because in real life, scopes always need to be zeroed at certain distances, unless you want to make your shots off target.
Both Ellie and Abby are not as experienced in weapons upgrading as Joel was in The last of Us Part 1, so their upgrades are quiet limited as to the ones in Part 1
I agree. I am working on the weapon upgrades in part one and Joel seems to not only be better at upgrading but combat, taking damage, and improvised crafting as well. It does make sense since Joel is twice the size as the other main characters and also more experienced
@@dxy00 Joel was also a firearms expert his whole life. He lived in Texas and owned firearms long before the Cordyceps outbreak in Part 1 and was an arms dealer in Boston for 20 years after it. The whole premise of that first chapter was reacquiring a stash of guns and parts that had been stolen. So combined with his experience and reacquiring the guns from the Fireflies in Chapter 1, he has access to more upgrades and parts.
I believe a lot more actually happened that don't have the sequential action needed to have them actually taking place, likely because having a 1:1 realism in the upgrade animation would have taken so much time at the expense of the player's convenience
Pity you can't replace the shotgun grip with a shoulder stock for increased stability and a much better look and indeed it's a pity all the guns don't have five or more upgrades and various customisation options! While varying models of various types of guns would be great too I know this game isn't Battlefield or Cod, but more exciting and interesting guns would help very much! 😯😀🤘🤞
it's so wrong to spend resources to upgrade weapons and see Ellie sand the weapon's grip, something that didn't even need resources, this upgrade bench is ridiculous
Ellie is essentially a civilian working with civilian weapons that she either brought with her from Jackson or found along the way. Abby is a WLF soldier, and the WLF militia are most likely made up of ex-US military remnants following the outbreak, or armed themselves with leftover military armaments from the army's occupation of Seattle during the quarantine.

I always had fun upgrading the weapons. The sounds, the graphics and the details. The best fun I had was doing this 😂
I love how it tells you what will be upgraded for each option in addition to the stat upgrade.
It has to do that that makes no sense why are you praising basic information

@@GherkinsI don't understand what your problem is bud. The gun is clearly not cocked. it's kinda modeled after a DAO Beretta 92D
your 15th time loading your pistol and unloading to upgrade it and still has 15 rounds
The attention to detail in this game is by far it's strongsuit
Like cleaning a gun can change the color of the gun handle and make the gun stronger but I'm not a gun expert
It’s kinda funny to that Ellie’s pistols is based of the beretta M9, but in this game the made a different version of the logo for copyright reasons.

Ellie’s shotgun and rifle are just so fearsome after you upgrade them.
This video make me chill
is there any way i can replay encounters with the fully upgrades weapons? whenever i try it just seems to randomize my weapon upgrades
If you want to have a specific encounter with all of your weapon upgrades. Do a chapter replay and save just before that encounter in the chapter.

Yeah that one doesn’t make sense. At least have her apply some grips to it.

どう見てもスライドストップとマガジンキャッチ左側についてるよね?
Sorry for the late reply to your comment, but you can switch shoulders to shoot left-handed in Part 1, I'm sure you can in Part 2.
