I came here from SNES Drunk's channel, as I had never heard of NES Friend before. This was a fun playthrough, and I don't even care for sports. Very entertaining, so I thank you both.
According to the manual: "Binky" LeFleur He's fun to watch because of his unique running style. Also, since he's quick on his feet, Binky makes an ideal outfielder.
Ty trav and Alex this was awesome I would really enjoy seeing more of this in the future! How about some Griffey baseball, snes drinks fav sports title
Great video! You cuys cracked me up, it was awesome listening to you both! Even though I never played (or even heard of) this game, it also reminded me of The Sandlot, such a great movie!! ⚾️
I agree at batting leadoff, but he is the greatest defensive 1st baseman in Dustys history. SS position in Dustys is not a valuable position. Not many plays are hit to SS.

Here after the SnesDrunk video loved this game as a kid could never remember the name for the last 15yrs lol. I think this would be a great game to do a Tournament with multiple diffrent retro game related content creators where they have to pick and stick with their teams if you wanna make it more interesting Edit: that might make it less interesting with this game now that I think about it
Next year, you two should do an April Fool's Day gag where you do each other's channels. NES Drunk and SNES Friend.
I want to see the intro going NEEEEEEEESSS FRIEND.
I said this in Alex's video as well, but you guys should make this a weekly thing, it's so fun to watch!
This was great to see! I hope you do more videos like this in the future.

Slick Slickster should always be the first pick and put him at SS batting leadoff. :) And no one picked him.

Dusty Diamond Awareness Month

11:43 That's not that dude's hairline. It's a sports headband!
This may be a dumb question, but, how did you guys play this? Is there an emulator with online multiplayer?
There is! RetroArch. Was tricky for us to get going but worked really well.
@@NESFriend RetroArch is basically the best thing to happen to retro gaming in recent history.
I played this game ALL the time as a kid! One of the most sports games EVER!!!!!
Last inning was intense!
The pitcher Sparky looks like an 8bit Johnny Cage
I played the shit out of this as a kid. It was my favorite video game ever.
Alex's pitcher looks like Orange Cassidy
It's better when you can research the players makes the draft pretty intense.
