Hahahahahaha
When he reaches under the table, it's such a subtle change that only quantum instruments can register it.
I always interpreted it as scratching his balls.
@Sarvesh EB someone who watched 3 of his vids know about this lol
I don't even understand what he's adjusting , sorry about that
This is how I play too : I sacrifice everything and hope something will happen. Am I GM material ?
Aupsie only if you win
That's a minor detail.
Aupsie did you sacrifice your king?
Tried a few times, game "crashed" right after that and it said that I had lost. Probably a bug.
Aupsie What's an "immortal" game? First time hearing it.
That was a valiant last minute effort by black before resigning.
I can see how this move would get overlooked at this point in the game.

He should have said I am the one who will be sacrificing today not you before that move

Black : Be3+
White : Doesn't take
Black : I resign
Black just learned how to sacrifice 101 in the end by sacrificing the bishop, which was turned down 💀🤧🤷 and he resigned
Agad's attitude is like he is doing us a favor by telling us about this game. And it's true.
But the pawns! aren't they pieces too?
Pawn lives matter!!!
No, pawns are pawns, not pieces, sorry
Not in chess. If someone says theyre a piece ahead they usually mean a knight or bishop as it’s rare it’s anything bigger. If they’re up by a pawn, they say they are up by a pawn.
+Gav Onyx To quote my teacher: *''Pawns are not pieces! You have N for knight, B for bishop and Q for queen, but there is no P in chess! Chess is not a toilet!''*
no, they are imaginary pieces
pawns can choose to identify as any piece they want.
they are transpiece....
Sacrificed all pieces PLUS one : the queen that was first promoted from a pawn. Promoted a second pawn to his third queen, and won with her.
I was laughing my ass off at those pawn splits at the end with the queen. "Oh you got that queen nice, what about this one". Learned a lot watching this! Great commentary as usual lad!
imagine doing all those sacrifices and white is winning then white runs into a simple king-queen fork. and then looses the game 😂
That is the kind of thing that would happen to me.
@@bryandorman4139 me too. I would happily eat that pawn, and then choke on it...
Nice getting rid of that rook too that was trouble as well

I used to play a lot of chess when I was little with my grandparent (may he rest in peace), when I moved to another country I kept playing Ina club for 3 more years.
Then I suddenly stopped.
Now, 10 years later I started to play again, with my roommates and I got caught again by this game.
Also, I'm a historian, so explaining battles from ancient times with chess pieces is just, 10 out of 10.
I just found yesterday your channel and goddamn man. What can I say, I'm reliving the chats with my grandpa about plays of some GM he used to know and play or watch in Russia and Bulgaria.
You got a new subscriber!
I would never have seen that long combination. And even if I had seen it, I wouldn't have dared to play it. Thank you for posting this great game !
Conditional sentence type 3.
You don't have to see the lines, you just need to see if it's winning!! Last week I had a game where I was down a piece, I "blundered" a piece, but it was actually M1 when he captured my "blundered" piece (I missed the M1 because the position was so packed in the middle and I thought I just blundered a piece lol while in fact my opponent shouldn't have taken that piece :/ ) anyway, when I was down a piece, I went to sacrifice my rook as well lol my opponent had a queen, 1 horsey and 2 rooks! But his position required him to give the queen for a pawn to avoid checkmate lol and I won that game after I went for M6 instead of M2 that I missed ;_; (again duh) well then again often times I go for fancier checkmates rather than the normal ones... Hmmm
@@amoldivo -- I used to play against a guy who would reliably take any piece that I offered him. I would deliberately leave a piece hanging. His piece, which was preventing mate in 1 by me, would then grab the hanging piece and -- presto ! -- checkmate.
@@kevinbyrne4538 💀💀💀 you must've played the guy pretty often then, to know he'd take everything you offer to him 💀💀
@@amoldivo -- Yes. We were learning to play chess, so we often played against each other. He was absurdly aggressive: Sometimes he would open by attacking me with his queen; then I'd trap and capture his queen. Other times, he'd make sacrifices that would fail. He was so determined to attack that he often forgot to castle -- with disastrous consequences. Finally he became frustrated, so he attacked me with a wall of pawns. I sacrificed a pawn to open a hole in his wall of pawns and then my pieces poured into his position behind his "wall". Most of his pieces were still sitting on their original squares and they were not protected. It was a slaughter.
5:59 outstanding move
Tal: That's a nice start, but I'm going to need more sacrifices

"One does not simply sacrifices all his pieces..."

Your channel is great Agadmator. I'm glad to have found you and your great videos.
Thanks brydon :)
"Drink. Claim your destiny. You will all be conquerors."
"And what must we give in return?"
"Everything."
He might have sacrificed all his pieces, but he spawned like 2 extra queens. The equilibrium tipped hard!
This was amazing! Serper was so bold and aggressive, Nikolaidis still had a really nice counterattack (46 & 47), only to realize quickly that he's lost!
By the way, the American grandmaster Grigory Serper is a product of the impressive Soviet chess school. This game was played three years before he emigrated to the United States! Just giving credit where it's due...
I've played games similar to this, except more often than not my sacrifices eventually include my King.
Me before watching this video: What kind of clickbait is this?
Me after watching: ohhh okay this is real
Agadmator never click baits
This kind of game requires precise calculations, but more importantly strong intuition. Amazing game!
Intuition, first and foremost, then continue with the calculations lol
"You see, black pieces have a preset capture limit. Knowing their weakness, I sent wave after wave of my own pieces at them until they reached their limit and resigned"
Ugh.
Games that will never be played again, this was amazing!
Wow! He not only sacked all of his pieces, but also, (as he promoted 2 pawns), 1 extra Queen!!

This was one of the first agadmator videos I watched. Still a favourite.
I am amazed. This is brilliant and scary at the same time. Violent and unavoidable.
Interesting. This was my style of play. Really irritated other players when I would happily sacrifice a queen.
That's because you had a young mistress on the side, didn't you?
Wow this game is absolutely beautiful. Favorite game I’ve seen so far! 😍
This is, by far, one of my favorite games ever. This is pure thinking chess, not memorizing 40 moves. Love it.

Why are there so many people who vote your videos down? You have a great channel.
The down votes must be people who hate their own lives...
A lot of the downvotes probably come from idiots who object to the title, even though it's scrupulously exact as far as any experienced chess player would refer to "sacrificing all one's pieces" (i.e. not pawns, which are not pieces, and not the king, which is an impossibility).
You know its a complex game when the game even tricks agadmator's narration.
Wow.. I just found your channel. I love it. I've been playing chess for 17 years. My best chess match ever ended with my opponent (black) opening a pawn 2 squares, which allowed me to do "Pawn en passant" resulting in my Queen opening up for a discovery Check mate. It was absolutely beautiful.
Clickbait. Didn’t sacrifice his king.
There's always one!

This is the true brilliance. It's just a bunch of memorized moves it's an amazing amount of creativity
It's interesting how GMs don't concern themselves with basic early chess fundamentals.
This may be a year late, but: you have to know the rules in order to know how to break them. :)
No need to use training wheels on a bike when you're a grown-up.
it's worth noting that white sacrificed all of his pieces and also one queen from promoted pawn. so basically he sacrificed more material than he had while starting a game. well done

This truly is a beautiful game. Thanks for showing us the game AGADMATOR
It's funny how you seemed to be a little bit down at the beginning of the video but then started to get excited as the game went on.
I don't know what you had been going through back then or maybe if you had just woke up and still was kind of sleepy, if you still had an ordinary job which you didn't like that much or whatever, but it's nice to see in other people how better we can feel about ourselves when we do the things we love.
Discovered this channel yesterday and I'm a fan already! I've loved chess from the core of my heart and planning to resume my practice after final exams. Love your channel ❤
That's a really cute dog on the couch. Maybe you could feature him in a couple of videos.
Agadmator please see this!!!!!!!!
Amazing! I thought the video title had to be a clickbait, but he indeed sacced all pieces!
this may be a stupid question but he repeated the move to reach time control...what is time control?
after 40th move players get extra time on the clock.
More to the point, in chess you have limited time for your moves. While details differ, the main idea is this: you get 2 hours to think about your first 40 moves, another hour for the next 20, half an hour for the rest.
Quite commonly, a player needs a lot of time in midgame for some complicated position or trying to calculate whether some sacrifice would work. Which means they are incredibly short on time, say 3 minutes left after the 32nd move - 8 moves left until 40 - or something like that. So you cannot really calculate a lot of stuff anymore. But if you somehow manage to make these 8 moves, you'll get another hour, allowing for another deep think.
This is where you look, especially if in a better position, for some repetitions to pass moves without losing much time.
Resigned why exactly? He had a horse, bishop, and king. Vs 1 queen.
he would lose horse on the next move and bishop just after
it's not a night not a fucking horse noob
Beautiful loved all that pretty cool a lot of confidence with those sacrifices glad it worked out for him Black tried to bring it to him White did great sacrificing but making nice offensive gains Thanks for the game

Tried sacrificing my King.
Didn't turn out well
Wtf how is that even possible i sacrificed my king and still won
Except the joke isn't funny bc Noone in chess history has ever sacrificed a king. The king is always alive. Check mate always ends the match instantly, there is no move made after that
ramsy420 wooooooosh
ramsy420 r/woooooooosh!
You need to have your next King secured before the sacrifice. All women know this.
That last move Be3+ goes to show you that you really have to keep your wits about you even after gaining a huge advantage either materially or positionally or both, you must thoroughly and with complete certainty secure a win when winning. Surprises like that happen in chess more often than you think, especially at higher levels.
As you can see..

An extraordinary perception of the game, strategies, planning, and execution is carried out with perfection. A great cornering of the king by sacrifices. A game to be recommended for lovers of chess to enjoy and learn the art. Fabulous game.
I feel like White didn't actually sacrifice the knight on f2, since it was just an exchange of knight for knight at that point. Just to be pedantic. Not to say it wasn't an amazing game worth watching twice!
