How are these guys not bigger? This was a crazy good watch... came across them on a Husq Forum. I've got a KTM RC 390 w/ the same powerplant as their 401 build it's a fun bike for sure.

Is the exhaust available for purchase? Was thinking it would add clearance to a scramble version of svartpilen 😊 more so the rerouted header and pipe bit, would prefer a quieter pipe

i was hoping seeing new tires in the build vids and still im waiting in this vid, the standart tires dont just look bad, they perform even worse.

you guys did a great job. I love the seat and graphics! shoulda swapped that ugly dash though. it bothers me everytime i get on the bike. Such an afterthought.

Is the seating position very similar to the Svartpilen. I really like the build.
This ended up looking dope! I also have a Husky 401 & wanna change the colour scheme. Not a huge fan of the fluoro yellow 😅

Absolutely wicked build! Got one of these myself and am tempted to start copying some mods, but have to finish off a CB350 build first! Quick Q - did you have to remap the ECU to suit the DNA filter & ne exhaust?
The Husky ECU has a reset mode that needs to be completed. Other than that you can get a performcane ECU for it.

We used a Renthal fatbar, Carmichael mid bend. Riders to suit 🤘🏽

Does the bar end mirrors hit the gas tank when turning . What type of bar end mirrors are these ?

These are our Purpose Built Moto Scrambler mirrors, check them out at the link here:
They clear the tank nicely on our bike.

After the exhaust and air filter swap out, did you have to remap/flash the ECU or install a power commander?
Its not necessary, however if I did another one I would definitely reccomend it!
@@PurposeBuiltMoto did it sometimes cut out? i have a 401 that i removed the cat on but did not replace the air filter, sometimes it cuts out when i stop at a junction.
you used the thock triple clamp to put a straight handlebar onto it? how did you manage that?

They're a great learner bike for riders. Although if you're building a bike you may be better to customise something a little older.

4:07 LOL did he almost crash it gettin the bike down that thing? 😂 I noticed he was moving it without touching any break?? (I was wondering wth? since I'm very new with bikes) but rewatching it the crouched guy seems worried for a second and the camera shake 😂😂😂 I think thats what happened. ---Nice customization, I wish it was this easy in europe.
No ECU with the stage 2 filter?
We spoke with DNA filters, they said if you really want a bog boost in power you can use one, but the stage 2 just and an exhaust can be used on its own.
I’ve also just ordered the 2020 version, as I wanted the adjustable forks. I’m interested in making some mods and am enquiring if you sell the exhaust and cat delete pipe? Also the air filter? I clicked the link and nothing happened. What gains in power and torque do you think the air filter alone provides? Any Dyno tests before and after? I’d appreciate any advice, from anyone! Yeah we supply a baffle with our exhaust that can be put in and removed

it seems like it would have been easier if you started with a svartpilen.
Apart from the bars, everything else we still would have changed. And I wanted the street tyres anyway so the Vitpilen was a better choice for us

why does the bike look HELLA tinier
You can do a lot with visual trickery, we did slim everything down, but the graphics kit and way its set up makes the rider feel bigger

Could have saved yourself a ton of time and money and just bought the svartpilen. Would have save yourself the trouble of the first two mods and the spikes wheels

Yeah we do have a bunch of spares with the bike including a stock seat. We’ve since quietened the exhaust down a fair bit
Loved the build series. had a look at the ticket price and pretty much Shat myself lol... a$130 for a ticket. I was hoping for a$10 . I will stick with my BOTB entries at 0.69p per ticket for a Moto Guzzi V7 Stornelo.... Keep up the good work from Northern Ireland...
😂 we kept the price high, but numbers very limited. Only 250 entries will be allowed and we’ve already sold through 70 of those! The 0.69p you’ll be up against 3 million other tickets haha

didn't like the mod done on fibre body. original was way better than the present.
