      I'd love to be able to ride everything, but with these brand new bikes that aren't designated as demo vehicles, the choice comes down to no video or this type of video... Given those two options, I'll do this every time. Hopefully this gives some context when you click over to the other videos that are on RUclips and they're able to ride them.

    You know your stuff. I bought a new '22 Vitpilen 401 a year ago, absolutely love it. It's the apple of my eye. It has Supermoto Mode which turns off the rear ABS. No mechanical issues after 2800 miles, still looks like new.

    Great review, as usual, Peter. I love my Husky. I haven't had a single problem over the last 12 months of ownership. I rode my bike ALL WINTER here in southern Ontario. I only missed 5 days of riding and my 401 was bullet proof.

    Just like you said about the Miata, it’s not a powerhouse. But it’s extremely capable and can hand a lot of more powerful cars it’s arse in the right environment. I’d imagine this bike is like the Miata…likes tight two lane backroads and it’s a momentum bike, not an all out horsepower monster. Made to carry itself through the twists at high speeds because of its agility. 50mph (or 100kmh) is still 50mph regardless if the bike has 20hp or 200hp. Great video and review! Love the design of the bikes, don’t see them around much

    A lot of reviewers call it a "scrambler". I guess if you put a high fender on it and fer other changers, but in stock form it really looks more like a futuristic street fighter to me. Either way, very cool and I'd love to have one.

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  Год назад

      The Svartpilen is more of a Scrambler. The Vitpilen is more of a sports street bike.

    • @Win7ermu7e
      @Win7ermu7e Год назад

      @@PeterLoweOne They actually call it a modern cafe racer, and yes the svart is the scrambler although the only real difference is handebar height, tires, and paint job (and alloys vs spokes in some markets). Oh yeah and the tank rack on the svart.

      I'm about 6 feet tall. So I think it would be ok for someone up to your height, but not much taller. You may want to look at this and the competitors to see what this feels like for you, compared to the competition. To be fair, there are a number of smaller bikes in this class.

    Do Americans know that other countries use different licences to drive a motorcycle? It's often unlimited power if you are 24 years old and followed lessons, took a theoretical and practical exam. This vitpilen has 35kw that's makes it possible to drive from 20 years old in my country. If you take lessons and theoretical+practical exams

    • @PeterLoweOne

      I'm Canadian, and I am aware of other areas having different licensing requirements, but that's not the focus of this video.
