Microtech UTX-85 OTF automatic Switchblafe knife review | So stealthy it disappears in your pocket.

In this video I review the Microtech UTX-85 II Stepside OTF automatic switchblade switchblade knife. I start off by talking about it’s size and compare it to a Benchmade Bugout and a Chavez Ultramar. As well as a Victorinox Alox Pioneer 93mm. I then talk about liking to materials used on the knife with M390 steel and 6061 aircraft grade Aluminum for the handle. I then talk about the great pocket clip that carry’s deep but allows you to draw the knife easily from the pocket. I talk about the overall consistency of quality that the knife provides being very high and the fit and finish being a very premium quality knife. I mentioned Microtech warrenty and having personal experience of them taking care of me in the past and them offering blade replacements when most company don’t. So you can have a knife that you can hand down. Also I talk about how the Ultratech Microtech is a staple of the knife community and it is easy to see once you experience the performance of the knife and the fit and finish. I talk about how fun the action is to fidget and how much people love the knife when you show them how it works. I also point out how the knife is expensive and has went up with inflation, however I do think the knife’s overall price is justified by the quality, materials, and work that goes into the USA made blade.

How much’s that knife , where to order it . I do have one from Smith& Wesson , but I have to put blade back to the frame , unlike this automatic retrieve such this one .

This microtech is a signature series. It’s $350. However, the standard UTX-85 is amazing too and a little less. Here is one from KnifeCenter which I’ve bout about 5 knives from so trustworthy. It’s $277
