🤣🤣🤣
I really love it when u speak Ewe😅😅. You are my favourite food blogger
I love hearing you speak our language . Makes me so proud x
Thank you so much for this recipe Fafa. Abolo really is one of the best things from Volta
Esinam Attivor my dear not only volta but central Region
Esinam Attivor you are right. Abolo is one of Volta's best foods indeed. Any other region's variation is just a copy or adaptation. Volta, the Togolese and the Beninoise own the origins of the Abolo, period!
Finally!! Thanks so much, I won't be traveling kilometers just for abolo....yes yakayake is next

Thank You so much Fafa. I’ve always wanted to make abolo but didn’t know how. Now I’m going to try making it using your recipe. I’ve got three absolute favourites from Ghana which I didn’t have a clue how to make. Abolo, Dzowe and Asaana. Thanks to you, the mystery is solved. I will be making them when I can get the ingredients and feedback. Thank you again.

There are no Ewes in Cote D’ivoire. But we love Ablo
It is actually not an ewe food it is akan its real name is abodoo meaning corn breaad.
@@trudykeziaabayirenkyi8424 this is new. Never heard this before
@@trudykeziaabayirenkyi8424 . Really, can you mention a town among the akans that does this. Because i have always seen this among ewes especially (Voltarians, togolais and Beninese. And even among the RUclipsrs , it's done by Voltarians, 🇹🇬🇧🇯. They have the baked version of abolo too.
@@trudykeziaabayirenkyi8424 Abli = corn Elolo= expand or increased Abli+ Elolo=Abolo
Awww, I'm not surprised because we have ewe and Ga fisherfolks migrants in Cote D'ivore
I really love this back in Ghana … l am going to try it
Daavi akpe! I can now make my own abolo in Toronto 😍
Whoop whoop 👌🏽😘
Now i am tempted to give it a try , u do all😊
You should!
Hi Fafa. Great recipe. I tried making abolo your way but had difficulty because of the yeast. I believe you only add yeast directly if it is fast rising or rapid rise yeast. If it is active dry yeast, you first have to proof it in warm water and let it foam up before adding it in. Is that the case? If so the list of ingredients should say fast rising or rapid rise yeast. Thanks for bringing a bit of EWELAND to Obroniland!
Remix that agbaja move for me , classic
Fafa, akpe!

Thanks for watching and much love right back at you 😘😘
I was really excited to try this recipe (seriously excited since this is one of my absolute favorite dishes) but it just didn’t work for me. I followed your instructions to a T and even weighed everything for the exact grams. Mine was too thick I ended up adding some additional water. Then it just wasn’t sweet enough so I added a lot more sugar. But it also didn’t ferment properly. The consistency ended up too “doughy” and too firm. I left mine to rise 2hrs so I thought it would have been more than fermented. I also don’t have the Ghana corn meal so I used the regular white corn meal you can find in stores, similar to the one you used. What did I do wrong? Can you help?
My wife had the same difficulty, so have to add extra extra water to it.
Wow
😘😘

I think you can also bake is it?
There’s a separate recipe for the baked version.
Hello can we bake it in the oven?
I’ve not baked it in the oven before as it’s steamed for a traditional recipe.
What makes it sour ma
My abolo looked awesome but it tasted more like Oloba...🤣🤣🤣
I think my major challenge was trying to convert grams to cups... can you please help with the conversation for this recipe.... the internet keeps lying to me with loadzz of conversations 😩😩😩
