You missed the tarpon run at the south packory last week Monday through Thursday at sunset there were schools of tarpon chasing mullet and anchovies at sunset i was throwing the nlbn 3" twisted tea color with a 3/8 ounce jig I lost 5 last week in the 2-4 foot range i have a RUclips short of the one i lost i also caught my very first snook on the nlbn 3" pearl i also have a RUclips short of that one as well!
Sheeesh it does sound like I missed out bad ..I did jump a 6 footer or so on Friday night so I can't complain! Got to love them sunset thumps 😏 need me a nice big snook myself, good stuff💯🤙

Oh also there was a guy throwing those spook top waters the ones that do the walk the dog action he was getting aggressive tarpon blow ups.

Nicely done! Hope this cool front brings the Reds to SPI Jetties next week. Been pretty slow down here. Had a good run one day last week but been slow for last few months. Although I did land a 27 today. Keep those rod tips up and fish on!

Yes so the spiked shoes I was wearing are called korkers you can swap the botton of the shoe out to spikes. The shoes are called all axis all terrain shoe. Just select the carbide spikes for an alternate botton

What size and brand fishing rods do u use, I have a 4000 Penn reel but need a good rod
4 k peen real is great I used a penn battle rod 7 foot medium fast . Don't need something to fancy for flounder to wack em💯🤙
How do u guy keep the braided line from eating up the top guides on the fishing rod

@jaredyandell1220 that won't be the only place to fish🤷♂️ it's fall fish are on the move. There are plenty of places to fish. just have to be ready for anything while you're out there. one place is good one day, the next it's not. Also, weather is changing a bit more, making fishing more interesting.
