At the same time though if the price is good then that means you have room to get some better stuff separately and it not just be full of junk that is useless
Hey man, I know my opinion doesnt mean squat and I can only imagine the criticisms you receive as a youtuber but I just wanted to say I really enjoy the cadence of your videos. I really enjoy how your editing allows the sounds of nature to give body to your videos and they are not overwhelmed with music. When you do apply music it's done wonderfully. Not overbearing, perfect volume, used for purpose and not fill. You've become one of few fishing tubers that I regularly click ASAP when a new video drops. Even with no "suspensful" music I've come to recognize the cadence in the "silence of nature" moments when a catch or something exciting is about to happen. Keep doing you brother. Your videos are relaxing and incredibly enjoyable. Thanks for the work you put in to proced the content.
I don’t know if anyone else has said, but there is a trick for eels. Lower them back into the water and they will relax and straighten back out. Then you can lift them slowly and pop the hook out.
As someone who doesn't live around saltwater but has fished on vacation these little kits are pretty decent. If I lived on the coast it wouldn't be my first choice but if you're just wanting to surf fish for a week or have access to inlet/bay areas I think it would work. I learned how to tie my own surf rigs watching YT videos but some things like pyramid weights and specific saltwater gear aren't going to be available at my local stores. The one thing I like about saltwater fishing is you have no idea what you're going to pull out of the water.
Amazingly, That eel you caught is possibly a European eel that is traveling to spawn. They usually live in the UK and around Europe in freshwater, But travel to the Sargasso sea to spawn. Then the tiny baby eels spend a few years swimming back. over 6500km. Look it up, It's really cool .
Youre right! Its an European Eel that is on his way to the sargasso sea, its already pretty emaciated. But its weird that the eel took the bait because eels like this dont have an stomach because it regressed over the journey, they consume pretty much all of theire body mass during the travel, reproduce and then die. You can identify them by their headform and the completely white belly (usually its more yellow but when they go for theire mating grounds it turns white)
Man you'd be amazed the kind of good stuff that's in those boxes and those prices are pretty damn good for what all you get too. I bought a couple of rods from Walmart as well as a loaded tackle box and I have not been disappointed, awesome vid my dude
I have this exact box/kit sitting in an online shopping cart but haven’t pulled the trigger on it. I like what I saw with the contents, so I’m ordering that sucker. Much appreciated for the video
I picked up a fully LOADED tackle box this morning at an estate sale for $5. If you fishermen are not hitting some estate sales near you, you are missing out!!!!!! Also great for rods and reels.
Literally just purchased this box for our upcoming beach vacation, lol. My son and I both really enjoy your videos, keep up the great content and let us all know if you ever come to NJ to fish!
Since you’re in the area, go to the Amelia Island River, go to crane island and you can go onto the crane island park and fish off a dock. I’ve caught a whole bunch of stuff there you can see manatees
Reason why hooks are bigger for saltwater fishing is you want to hook the fish not have it choke your bait. Bigger bait= bigger fish always just like bass fishing. Most small fish won’t hit live mullet, or any other type of bait fish unless it’s a good sized predator. Try Carolina rig near jetties. And get some spider weights with a triple swivel, throw some cut bait for reds usually lady fish, horse mullet or finger mullet are good for that. Love how you don’t just stick to what you know. Been a follower for a long while. Keep on it and good luck to you out there brother.
I just discovered your channel not even 2 weeks ago!you’ve got some of the best fishing videos out there! But I do have a question,I’m going to a pier soon to fish and I’m very new to saltwater fishing, any tips?
Depends where you’re going but you can never go wrong with using fresh shrimp! Always bring some smaller hooks too , you never know what could be around!
I noticed after using a gulp soft plastic try putting it back into the bag. You cant leave a gulp soft plastic on your hook. The soft plastic will get rock hard. The reason i guess, its the ingredients in the the attractant can cause a reation with long exposure to the air.
I love your videos! Suggestion: 24hour creek fishing catch and cook. I loved the 24hour videos and the creek catch and cook. I would love to both in one. The creek videos inspired my to go out and I caught my first bass
In the uk we get plenty of eels in the sea. That one looked like one of our European silver eel that breeds in the Sargasso Sea. Just use a rag to hold the eel or you middle finger holds it between the index finger and the one next to your pinky. Anyhow, looks like you had a great day and lots of species.
my walmart box opened on the boat spilling everything😂 problem i had are the back hinges had to put 3 srews through each hinge to keep it in its place if not it pops out! almost did a video on how ti fix that
i got so happy to see u cut the main line and not tag end,i do that literally all the time because i'll be talking to a buddy while lining it up and i feel dumb every damn time...finally i see im not alone!!!!
New to your page man, gotta say your my favorite RUclipsr right now. Was wondering what rod and reel you use? Do you recommend any specific hook size and line?
Just found your channel we do alot of fishing up north we use the slip bobber set up that you use on pier and you talked about your bait getting wrapped around your bobber we use a leader line that goes just to top of bobber so it dont happen as much when using live bait kinda cool to see people use the same set up in salt water to great job on videos keep up great work
I live in texas and my favorite spot to fish is This bayou Called cedar bayou And you can catch everything from Gar to catfish and Because it's brackish water. I believe you can also catch red fish out there.
I use a wire high low spreader rig with spinner hooks and small sinkers usually 1oz in calm waters. Ugly Stik rod medium action and an old Mitchell 300 spinning reel.
Pin fish are fun lil fish to catch especially on light gear and live shrimp my first time ever fishing salt water I caught at least 7 of them and 1 needle fish I was ab 7 or 8 and ever since I’ve been absolutely in love with fishing
Never seen a modern tackle box in my life except my Dad's tacklebox when he was a kid when it was literally just that. A box in the same shape. The shelves sticking out physically made me go "Wooooahh!!" I might actually buy one just to use as storage.
BLAHAAHAHAH 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 BRO IM 💀 YOU SAID SKIPPITY DOO 😂 I LOST IT IF YOU EVER COME TO CALIFORNIA I HEARD THERE'S A BUNCH OF STRIPERS OUT THERE THAT YOU CAN FISH FOR OFF THE BEACH YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN,
When you pull up an eel or something that might tangle you like that, immediately grab the sinker and lift it above the fish. That way it dangles and flops around below the line and can't tangle you up.
🤔 hmmmmmmm, I didn't even think they still made fishing tackle boxes yet. It's cool though. I have two fishing backpacks to keep my stuff in, one to keep all my power bait in and the other one is to keep all my spinners and jigs in. great video
2 of the good ole flat fishes and 6 species in total! Not too bad for a day of just messing around fun fishing. Especially from a Wal-Marts starter kit. Most of the people that would typically buy one of those are beginners and pretty much just want to catch anything they can, so I'm sure they would have been pretty happy about a 6 species day. I would have liked to have seen it include at least some more weights and spare hooks. Because if that kit was all you had and you broke off you would be pretty screwed pretty quick! It's definitely a viable place to start for a beginner though and is a pretty decent and good sized tackle box with plenty of room to build on.
Nice video. But, speaking of tackle boxes... what happened to the one you sent to the you tuber? I saw the first recipient get it, and saw him fish it and forward it. But never saw it after that.
What's your favorite fish that you've caught so far this summer??
Channel cats
I just caught mine today 👀🎣 Video coming soon!
A crab if that counts
Fluke/ Black Sea Bass
Grass rockfish in half moon bay, Cali
No matter the price… if I open the fishing kit and see all that empty space, I’m definitely going to feel ripped off.
At the same time though if the price is good then that means you have room to get some better stuff separately and it not just be full of junk that is useless
It's not even a bad price just for the box.
I have a similar box and I think I paid $30 for it.
Just bought one the other day and that’s definitely what I felt
dog same.
Can you go saltwater fishing and jus use freshwater lures like a senko and do a catch n cook challenge
This would be a banger!
I think a senko on a jighead would be banger for flounder
@@bananaboatGDit would depend if they have eels around, but it could work
Im actually gonna try that for a vid
@@Dimelo.OUTDOORS do it!!!!!
Hey it was nice meeting you in person, when me and my brother watched this we both freaked out, keep up the good fishing videos we love watching you

there are american eels as well

Its always crazy to catch a big pinfish because there's always the doubt of wtf it is
the fact the product actually exists and has what it says it has in it means it s not a scam
I have this exact box/kit sitting in an online shopping cart but haven’t pulled the trigger on it. I like what I saw with the contents, so I’m ordering that sucker. Much appreciated for the video
If the loaded childrens tackle box is cheaper than the empty "adult" box, im buying the childrens box.
I picked up a fully LOADED tackle box this morning at an estate sale for $5. If you fishermen are not hitting some estate sales near you, you are missing out!!!!!!
Also great for rods and reels.
Yk it’s a good day when first state uploads a longer video

You dont see to many people micro fishing salt water lol. Its kinda cool to see the variety of fish in these flats
Nice video Mike...Great job getting fish on the line straight from the box!!
What was that container that you had the live shrimp inside of ?? 2:43
A live well
When using use a bubbler
Cool little flounder. I just picked up a little dinghy and just started saltwater fishing in FL went out last night and had a blast!

Got the same thinking it was a deal!!! Each hook counts as 1 piece one steal pinch weight is 1..22 pieces of poop 💩
Great video! Is that a Tsunami Airwave rod? Certainly looks like it.
fishing is fishing bro. we all love it and watching you go places makes me wanna get out more
I really like the laid back kind of videos!!
Smoked eel is really good you missed out on another good meal
When it comes to eels i found it best to keep them on the ground... whe you lift them is when they spin
That little pancake you caught would’ve been good with some maple syrup drizzled all over it and some eggs and bacon on the side!! LOL
Dude gives almost every fish brain damage 😅😂
Just caught a lizardfish this weekend, they are wacky looking fish for sure but you poking it back into the water cracked me up 😂
my walmart box opened on the boat spilling everything😂 problem i had are the back hinges had to put 3 srews through each hinge to keep it in its place if not it pops out! almost did a video on how ti fix that
A dry rag will help hold the eels they make great bait too! Cut or live
Larger bodies of water just have that lovely vibe to it. Need to get back to the Great Lakes.
nothing better then fishing and a cold beer. great video
Needed this video today good shit cuhhhhhhh!
Love the videos man keep up the great work👍🏽
I can’t wait until u come back to Oregon (if u do) bc I got some good spots to share w u!🤙
i got so happy to see u cut the main line and not tag end,i do that literally all the time because i'll be talking to a buddy while lining it up and i feel dumb every damn time...finally i see im not alone!!!!
They got any creeks in FL you can fish like DE or will you get attacked by gators
Probably not first, but always present 👊😁
Love the video! What beach was this?
New to your page man, gotta say your my favorite RUclipsr right now. Was wondering what rod and reel you use? Do you recommend any specific hook size and line?
On the Surf bites u will catch alot of kroker and spots and maybe some shad
Earned a sub, nice surf fishing man!
Out going tide is a terrific opportunity here in Fla while surf fishing.

Hold the pole in one hand and the bottom of the rig (the weight) in the other hand and bounce the eel up and down it’ll come off
Those hooks aren’t big if they we’re smaller it would be impossible to rig the baits on bcse the bend/curve is already very small
Never seen a modern tackle box in my life except my Dad's tacklebox when he was a kid when it was literally just that. A box in the same shape.
The shelves sticking out physically made me go "Wooooahh!!"
I might actually buy one just to use as storage.
im learning fishing because my son wants to do it and the best til i tough was a tea towel for release the hook and don't have slippy fish
You should have thrown the pinfish back out there on the hook haha those hooks are huge!
BLAHAAHAHAH 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 BRO IM 💀 YOU SAID SKIPPITY DOO 😂 I LOST IT IF YOU EVER COME TO CALIFORNIA I HEARD THERE'S A BUNCH OF STRIPERS OUT THERE THAT YOU CAN FISH FOR OFF THE BEACH YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN,
for eel when you have it out the water keep shaking the line firmly and grab the eel with a old towel or cloth that wil help a bunch
BTW, the tackle box is worth it. It just isn't a terrific discount. It has value and can catch fish worth far more than the price tag.
Slice the eel silver dollar size for an outstanding red fish bait and yellow jack,
When you pull up an eel or something that might tangle you like that, immediately grab the sinker and lift it above the fish. That way it dangles and flops around below the line and can't tangle you up.
Appreciate you roasting your ass off in 100+ degree weather just to make us some amazing content, anything over 70 degrees is way too hot for me
🤔 hmmmmmmm,
I didn't even think they still made fishing tackle boxes yet. It's cool though. I have two fishing backpacks to keep my stuff in, one to keep all my power bait in and the other one is to keep all my spinners and jigs in.
great video
How you make your rod holder have a flare and keep rid up so reel dont touch🙏
When are you coming to NY Long Island ? I got some nice spots you can try!!
Can you go fishing for tarpon or big fish in saltwater
Good review. Thanks.

MADE IT,still pretty early but anyway great job on the vids as always
😂😂 found one of these boxes awhile back. I have started to try my hand in bass and crappie. That's what I carry my panfish stuff in.
That first fish you got was a little lane snapper i believe.
I love these videos because I’ve beee getting my gear at Walmart for years. My best pool is my tiger that I’ve had for over 20 years.
I have great success using those new penny gulp shrimp.
That was either a Spot ir a Croaker. You can tell the difference by the gill plate, a Croaker has a sharp one.
How do you keep your fishing rod from rusting ?😊
Down south we call it the sounds. Softer part of the oceans.
You should do the freshwater version if there is one.
Nice video.
But, speaking of tackle boxes... what happened to the one you sent to the you tuber? I saw the first recipient get it, and saw him fish it and forward it. But never saw it after that.
Hello sir, How long u gonna have that thingy on your foot???
I subscribed because, as I was watching the video. I noticed "This MF wearing a boot while fishing." Much love man.
Love your content. Keep it up.
Easiest way to Handel the type of eel you caught is to use a sheet of newspaper as a cloth. This allows you to grip them easy
Nice video to watch and some nice fishing, but I don’t recommend putting your reels in the sand buddy!
The goat youtuber
great videos keep it up, maybe drop in some cameras underwater in the future
He def just cut the line and tossed the eel lmao
what beach is this? great video!
What fishing rod so you use in this Video?
i have the freshwater version of this it didn't come with much but i still use the box.
Why does the water look like it’s lagging
