How well do spikes work on granite or smaller big rocks?
@@Bassassinator it's better then football or soccer shoes on rock The spikes give maximum traction and gives the foot real stability.
@@Jasmine-kills I have been using my river shoes to great effect. I can feel the rocks, get in and out of the water (to retrieve bad cast net casts) and they grip well while draining too.
Maybe I can retrofit some river shoes with sole spikes?!

Gunna be out in corpus over the next few days. Hoping to hit some of these spots and catch! We usually go to piers like red dot and only catch small whiting, hard heads etc.

Sorry for the late response! I hope you did well on your adventure out to the water. Bull reds are pretty much always at port aransas just thicker in some times of the year, which is generally spring and fall. Cosway has been slowing down, but picking up on redfish.. redfish are begging to get thick in some locations at the moment..

I watch your shorts bro I’m new to fishing n I go to corpus here n there you should post videos on how to filet all the fish you eat and which is best bait or lure and how to tie the hooks and lures and what’s best to use I usally just go to Cole park pier also are galftop good to eat ?which they call em catfish

Ok il try to add more on the how to clean the fish the way I do atleast. Gaftop are good to eat unless it has worms then I wouldn't eat it .. similar to a black drum.. bait and lures for what kind of fish ?
