In this video, Ronan Oliveira unveils some of the myths of healthy eating and what Truly Healthy food means.
About Ronan:
Ronan Diego de Oliveira is Mindvalley’s Head of Health & Fitness and works alongside the world’s foremost experts in Health & Fitness. Ronan learned the science of Health & Fitness the hard way - by carefully dissecting raw medical studies and testing what he discovered - on his own body.
5 years ago Ronan’s body was deteriorating…
With an over-demanding job, he spent a great deal of time feeling sick and tired, his mood was unstable and his mental focus was almost non-existent - a direct result of lack of exercise, poor diet, and bad sleep.
He decided to skip the hype, advertising and conventional ways of exercise and instead learn straight from scientific studies. He reproduced the experiments done by scientists in labs in his own body and saw how his health and fitness started to transform. The science of fitness and muscle growth has come far in the past 10 years. The importance of high-intensity training, tabata-like protocols and super slow strength training has shown that you can get fitter and get a better body in far less time than we’ve been made to believe.
By applying science, Ronan regained his energy and focus, got strong and healthy, won the 1st place out of 11,000 runners in the Viper Challenge, the largest obstacle circuit race competition in Asia - and continued getting faster, fitter and stronger.
Today Ronan coaches people internationally to apply the best methods to get in shape, boost energy, and bring back their “zest” for life.

no it is also sugar
I’m realizing now that I’m trying to eat healthy, my foods still contain too much fat and sugars. I’ve cut out sweets, sugars, don’t fry foods and I only eat fresh and frozen veggies. Currently I am not eating fruits cause diabetes run strong in my family and I am obese and have high blood pressure. I also do not eat red meats.
Finding time to exercise, with my busy schedule.
I truly appreciate your videos. Healthy eating to me means I eat what I want in moderation. I have grown to know my body, what my body needs to sustain life, the things my body craves, and the things my body can do without. I like meat on my bones, but not more than my body is designed to carry, based on my height and size. I also exercise in moderation for tone and strength training. Healthy eating is a personal choice and differs, person to person.
Wow...Ronan...that was a grt insight on healthy eating..My definition for healthy eating is, eat the food that helps u to stay active n energetic all day. Listening to ur instincts when ur body demands a particular type of food is also healthy eating. I do that...if I crave for sweet...I feed my body with it but always keeping a strict watch on its quantity...
Ur posts r helping me a lot to understand food. Thanks ... Keep posting🙏❤️
Awesome information! Total awareness is required, Holobody!
Coconut sugar for me is healthier than processed sugar, as to how my body reacts to it. Of course, if I overuse it, anything really that is consumed in larger amounts it becomes unhealthy. Balance is key and using products closest to their natural state for me it means a healthier approach to nourishment 😊
its still sugar, and will have a negative effect on Weight Loss, and define "healthy", as a nurse, I have found that it is different for different people, culture and developmental growth the person is in.
It depends on the perspective, right? Coconut sugar is sure healthier than refined sugar. But that doesn't make it a vegetable ;) It's still sugar.
Thank you for your information of eating habits.
*Healthy eating also has a huge impact on your overall health AND most importantly your mind* 🙏
Thank you sir for your sights on this matter 💖💯
Love it! Heath is so much more than eating and exercising!
Healthy eating means to me that I have at least 5 different servings of veggies everyday with some protein which is usually eggs and sometimes meat as an alternative. I try not to deprive myself and allow a small treat like a chocolate or a piece of bread every now ana then ;-))
The coconut sugar is healthy in small quantities. 7 spoons is too much.
It depends on how much sugar, coconut or not, is consumed during the day.
