This affected me with installing Mavericks on an old MacBook Air tonight. I did the same thing you did and ironically i came across your video once this Air was up and running. BTW love your tutorials. Installing Ventura on my 2013 iMac worked perfectly with your guidance

Great video to the point , but my macbook 2014. Do not give a skip setup. I mess this thing trying reinstall the os. Due very sluggish performance. Not I have a non work laptop 🙃
I performed a test install today and this problem is still there. Is there any way to tell Apple about this problem? I have difficulties even posting problems to them.

Thank you, thank you!! I have been having problems with the stupid Mac for over a week, just got over the flu, which one of my kids gave me and the others now have (it's fun to draw things out) and this was almost a straw that broke this camel's back.
I think this might be because older Mac OS versions may not support newer Wi-Fi versions but it will allow you to search the network and connect to it.
This is happening to me when I try to unlock my computer using apple ID in recovery mode, but there's no option to "set up later" so I'm still stuck. Is there a fix without that workaround or is it something Apple could release a patch for?
@@vvzilla I haven't unfortunately, there's no option to set up later or to not sign in as Victoria suggested because I'm trying to change the password, so I have to sign in
@@vvzilla FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK!! The engineers at Apple actually figured this one out. The issue is that the newest terms and conditions haven't yet been accepted by your iCloud account. When I called in what they did to fix it was push the terms and conditions to my phone where I as able to accept them. After that, I was able to reset my computer password through Apple ID with no problem because it didn't have to prompt me to accept the T+C.
I'm still running into some issues when I try logging into my apple id. When I try making a new Icloud account. This video was very helpful just hope you can help me solve this next little hurdle.

Thanks! What an irritating bug ... slightly different UI on my installer, I clicked 'Not now', but yes it fixed the greyed out thing. ta I've spent 2 days trying to boot drive install an old Macbook Air ... nearly ever tstep has had a problem like this! But I am soooo close now !!

apple su!!x..I forgot mini password.. I signed into account and could not get past terms and conditions.
And people say Apple is simpler. I don't see it.

What if you don’t see the “sign on” part on the System preference?
I changed my passwords and I cant accept the terms and conditions to reset the password.
I had the same problem with recovery and unable to accept T&C. A bootable installer was the only way to skip the issue.

I just managed to bypass it. You go on to log in with Apple ID, then underneath it says skip 🥲

Did you find a solution? Having the same issue. There is no 'set up later' option.
Hi there is actually an option that says “don’t sign in” below the email box, you can click on that 😊

After upgrading catalina 10.15.7, the installation of OFFICE 2016~2021 will crash and cannot be used. What is the reason?
Chrome will also crash, Adobe photoshop 2023 is normal
