      FrankGarrett316 LOL. I sometimes hear that, but perhaps it clicked because you also heard it before.

    WHY does the release of gamma radiation better the nuclear strong force?

  • @stivep1
    @stivep1 10 лет назад

    Well again the same simplification of Chemist approach.
    There is nothing for free!!. So yes for simple people simple answer.
    Beta is mass and = mass of electron( forget about duality for the moment)
    Beta+ is positron, Beta minus is negatron. But both particles heave mass of electron. Neutron is heavier than proton(- your own words) what is the mass
    balance in nucleus after the change? or what is the mass difference
    (proton/neutron). How in the world factor of collision of the positron with orbital electron does not affect overall structure? If difference between nutrino( mass vanishing particle) and electron( mass carrying particle) is distinctive than what is the distinction in mass in your own words? What energy Gamma comes from?
    where is conversion mass to energy if nothing changes in the nucleus? :) Happy New Year thank you for your work
    Wesley

    When the Uranium changes to Thorium due to alpha radiation (atomic weight 234), the atomic weight of the Thorium is higher than what it is on the periodic table (232.04). Does it then become an isotope variation of Thorium?
