Sir, just coming back because I used your videos 3 years ago to get through the MCAT and get into medical school. Your videos helped me so much. I am extremely thankful of what you do. Once again, thank you very much. Regardless of your believes, I hope God bless you and your family for as long as there is daylight.

Excellent presentation, easy to remember, very organized and helpful for CSET and Physics test. It is outstanding and with examples which made it to understand the explanation.

Question: when Uranium undergoes alpha decay, what happens to its electrons?
I mean, it was stripped of 2 protons. Does that mean that the thorium would be negatively charged?

Good video. I am having a logic problem with beta decay. If a neutron transmutes to a proton by losing mass and energy, how is it possible that a proton transmutes to a neutron by also losing mass and energy. Shouldn't it gain mass and energy to become a neutron?

Confused- why during beta - decay, mass number stays the same where as atomic # (proton) goes by 1, isnt mass# = proton + neutron
