Same here man, movies don't need to be award winning movies to be good, or fan favorites, they just need to be enjoyed by their viewers. I was 11 when I first saw it, and I laughed. Need I say more? Yes, thank you Arnold and Sinbad.
I grew up with this movie every Christmas and it definitely helped me learn at a young age that it isn't the gifts that are important, but the people that love you. ❤
I miss Phil Hartman. Remember wondering why he stopped showing up in movies when I was a kid and later I learned what had happened. He was funny as hell and he seemed like a genuine guy
"What's a 'mall'?" ...in the summer i was taking CD's out of my car, & the neighbourhood kids had NO idea what they were, so i showed them CD & DVD's & it blew their little minds... i wish i had a laser disc to show them lol
I love the one scene where Arnold knocks down a guy in a present costume and then all the others try to help pick him back up but they can't because their arms reach is too short.
I love this movie so much! I always get a kick out of the fight scene between Arnold and the Reindeer! It’s definitely one of my favorite movies to watch around Christmas time! RIP to Tom Verner and Phil Hartman!
Watching this movie has become one of my family's Christmas traditions. You have to suspend your disbelief and just take it for what it is and emerse yourself in it & it's great. Sinbad's character is also hilarious IMO. Great video as usual. 😆👍✌️
Love this movie. I watch this movie every year for Christmas. That and a Christmas story and National lampoons Christmas vacation are a must in my house for Christmas.
i grew up with this, one of my favorite xmas movies i have it on dvd and watch it every year, never heard anyone say they dislike it more than any other movie?
I'm getting so tired of apologizing for liking this movie . I love this movie it's in my top 10 favorite holiday movies to watch .I was one of those people who got knocked over in the mall for trying to get a buzz light-year doll. What I have to say you are probably one of my favorite reviewers .I totally agree with you review
I got Jungle all the Way on VHS in the late 90s and watched it so countless times. I still love it and think it's hilarious. You know a movie is good if you can quote it to death and still find amusement all these years later.
It was a funny movie to me. I'm sorry. Sinbad and Arnolds chemistry was beyond funny as hell. I worked in a FYE after the video came out and we couldn't keep copies.
Yeah, I actually find "Jingle All The Way" to be way too funny and enjoyable to be considered 'awful', especially since I've always been a sucker for slapstick comedies that tend to have a cartoony feel to them, and there are quite a few other movies I can think of which are like that as well. :)
@@sonicmario64 Same here, I am a big kid and a huge Arnold Schwarzenegger fan. I had a great time seeing Jingle All The Way on the big screen in 1996. I still get big laughs from watching it every year at Christmastime.
I have the Blu-ray and DVD of this wonderful movie. I love it and watch it a couple times every Christmas. My wife and I saw this at a local theater. It was the first showing on Wednesday when everyone was at work or school. As you can guess, we were the only two people in the theater. We had fun, talking, laughing while eating popcorn. Love Sinbad. He played his part fantastically. Martin Mull was a surprise and nice to see him, ponytail and all, as a radio DJ. And little Anakin of Star Wars was so cute. Along with Die Hard (first movie), these two really make Christmas a wonderful time.
This is not only Arnold's finest comedic performance, in my mind it is also Phil's and Sinbad's funniest thing they've ever done. Even as a pre teen I knew this movie was something truly special and predicted the tickle me elmo madness while making fun of the cabbage patch fiasco.
OMG! I adored this movie as a kid!! I remember viewing it Christmas of '96, we all watched it as a family, & it's actually one of the fondest memories of my childhood. I remember the Turbo man dolls, as my cousin got one for Christmas that year.
I remember wanting to see this movie when it first came out, but my parents didn't, so I didn't get to see it until years later on VHS and despite how silly it gets, particularly falling apart towards the end, it remains one of my holiday favorites.
I love this film. I was a dad at the time this came out. Toys just boomed at this time and this movie really captured the feeling. Maybe its not a relevant now, but back then, it was spot on.
I have a real soft spot for Jingle All the Way, and it's in my Christmas movie rotation every year! Also now, as a postal worker, I really empathize with Myron because delivering mail at Christmas WILL make you crazy! Ta Ta, Turtle Man lol
I remember going during springtime with my family to universal studios and we were doing to the backlot tour while they were filming jingle all the way. It was weird seeing Hill Valley with snow everywhere.
I’m from Minnesota and I remember meeting Arnold Schwarzenegger when he was in Mall of America when they were filming, I got to talk to him for a little bit and he liked my impression of him.
It’s true, there was a Jingle All The Way 2, but it’s totally unrelated to the first movie, having Larry the Cable Guy and former WWE wrestler Santino Marella in the starring roles. WWE produced the movie.

Me and my brother had this on VHS and we would watch it all year round. Such a good Christmas film, rarely mentioned when people go on about watching elf at Christmas... give me jingle all the way instead!
I bought it on VHS when it came out and then bought the "Family Fun Edition" when that was released (but on DVD, not Blu-Ray). I think it's a great movie with a pretty decent twist ending.
I don't care what anyone says, I love this movie
It's a silly, fun movie... and that's all it really needs to be. =)
Me too. I made my parents rent it for me at the video store over and over lol
