So the wheels aren't different due to transmission-all of the 2023 3.0 Supras have the same wheels. In regards to the 1-2 shift, the fix isn't with coding; you would have to do a Clutch Delay Valve delete on the slave cylinder. Hope this helps!
Thanks I found out about the wheels a few days ago! When I first read about the new wheels I read it wrong 😅 but the delay valve is something I've thought about considering it is BMW
Much love and respect to you and your channel Keegan. I hope that all is well for you and your family and friends and I hope that all of your dreams and aspirations come true and that you are safe during your travels and adventures and skateboarding and while recording your videos and going live and while working on your cars and driving.
The Manual is definitely not as fast as the Automatic. If you are looking to do fast and the furious straight line stuff only, automatic is the better option. The Manual is more about engagement and shifting your own gears or feeling connected to the car.
Believe in yourselves and each other and never give up on your dreams and aspirations and remember to be kind and uplifting to each other and open minded and genuine and respectful and humble.
I hope people HUMANS will finally realize that You CANNOT beat Today's modernized and computerized controlled Transmission. You are going to lose every time. Manuals are useless. In the 1900 manual was a thing but that era is over. Want a Stick ? Get a dual Clutch transmission or a ZF8 #BMW
As much as I agree with you the driving experience is much more fun in a manual than in an auto atleast in my opinion So just for that alone I'd argue that they're not useless 😂
Tips to you, next time race with the camera point towards the other car, not at you. Also don't go into a race pre-thinking and already telling your audience that you're going to loose and not given your all. I can tell from your jerkiness shifts that you're not that good at fast shifting. The manual in the right hand can and definitely beat the auto, it is lighter and has less drivetrain loss due to the slushbox in the auto. Please next time do a 3rd roll also and you'll see the manual come to life against the auto.
I'm actually pretty good at fast shifting the new supra just has a weird clutch issue going from 1st to 2nd it's very common and there is a fix for it. It's a common bmw problem 🤷♂️ now that I've had the car long enough I've gotten used to it and have a slight work around for it that helps I agree with the 3rd roll though I would definitely like to try it again sadly this day I wasn't able to get everything that I wanted to do and had to get what I could from it 😅 I also had a limit of 2-3 cameras at the time but I've been able to aquire a few more gopros to help get more outside shots I do plan on doing something like this again in the near future I would just like to take it to a track/drag strip instead of next to a hwy haha As for the confidence in the race I gave it everything the car had and it did do much better than I expected but he had a tune at 382hp and my 364hp it's already a little disadvantage What you see me tell the camera is speaking out of honesty not lack of confidence 😂 I do appreciate your feedback though it'll help with future content so thank you! 🙏
It would be interesting to see a roll race from 2nd or 3rd gear as the manual is slightly lighter and dynos around 20 whp more stock with more aggressive gearing.. From a stop, no question, auto is faster.
Great video Greta comparison but Please change directions of the camera during the race. Face the race I say. Also auto mode and auto M mode @1:12 u say computer would change faster thanks using flappy paddles? Wouldn’t the shift times be the same … coz it’s auto in the end when the shifts happen …. sports+ M paddles or sports+ D auto Either way when driving Ms+or Ds+ shift times be the same ? Only difference is when shifts happen : M paddles u choose when D car chooses the when it think is right . BTW : who cares his is faster … u Have the better car and u made the better choice … manual ftw. Also in a few years u reap the reward coz it will hold value better.. hopefully
@invasion1824 drivers car in my opinion is feeling more one with the car I believe driving a manual is better at connecting you to the car because you are telling it what to do and telling it when to go vs an automatic there is a system/brain that does it for you So in that sense yes manual is more of a driver's car compared to the automatic Both have their flaws and both have their pros no one is hating on automatics 😅
Autos are best for turbos since it can hold boost between shifting, manuals just can't unless tuned with flat foot shifting. With that said, I'll still be getting the manual. Just my preference and it will be the more saught after car in the future. My daily will be an auto/ev. Supra for fun.
Thats a good point and I think as a "drivers" car the manual is just much more fun and I think it'll hold its value a little bit more too Definitely can't go wrong with either one though!
I don't like the 2 tone wheels I said they look good for stock but id prefer it if it was all one color I also don't care for the new style of wheels either they both could look much better but they're a stock wheel so I'm not expecting much and eventually I'll go for more of a JDM look

I agree with the 3rd roll though I would definitely like to try it again sadly this day I wasn't able to get everything that I wanted to do and had to get what I could from it 😅
I also had a limit of 2-3 cameras at the time but I've been able to aquire a few more gopros to help get more outside shots
I do plan on doing something like this again in the near future I would just like to take it to a track/drag strip instead of next to a hwy haha
As for the confidence in the race I gave it everything the car had and it did do much better than I expected but he had a tune at 382hp and my 364hp it's already a little disadvantage

@@layne4376 quite a few places. CES, VAG, Visconti… no shortage of dynos
plus a rolling start would be nice to see too.
This car does a lot more than go in a straight line by the way
Yeah im aware I was just limited to what I could do sadly 😅 there'll be more videos on the supra in the near future though
The new wheels are for all 2023 Supras not just the manual
Gotcha that makes sense then! I've only seen them on the manuals and read something about them having a new look I must've misread it though 😅
it would be more helpful to get an idea between the two car if the camera's were pointed at the other car.
You're right. Working with limited time and cameras but it'll get better as I learn more

Exactly! That's how I feel too and now that I know there's a fix for 1st to 2nd shift I'm excited to see how the car changes
The automatic is not a drivers car. The 0 to 100 time is not everything you want from a car.
Thats why I got a manual because it's more of a driver's car
Drivers car manual, not drivers car automatic nonsense. Let’s stop it once and for all on this BS!

With the right tuning on the manual supra that could be possible! Either way it's whoever is having the most fun behind the wheel! 👊
