My 350 (completely stock) will pull on some more powerful cars until you hit about 105mph (shifting into 4th), it still pulls hard in 4th, but that's where the more powerful cars seem to start walking. A 2nd gear run from 40 or 50 is the sweet spot for the 350.
Actually you need to stay at 50mph on a roll. 40 is too low in on rpms . This same race at 40 the hellcat put a good 3 on me. Do an E85 tune. Major difference in midrange torque. If you didn't look at the other vids of this car I posted, it ran an 11.60 @124.76 mph. Quickest tune only GT350 known to date. On stock tires by the way.
Seems like the race cut out as the cat was starting to pull. Based on ur previous vids ur a 119 MPH car in the 1/4 Mile. A stock charger cat as around 125 MPH. Not a real race
The race was to the top of 4th which is a little over 140 . If I hit the limiter it's 147. My car went 119.85 against a 20-25 mph headwind. A stock charger CAN hit 125 or better but if you've watched enough videos alot only run in the 122 or so range just like a ZL1 . My car can hit that mph with no headwind . My car also can't shoot out of the hole like either car. Not designed to do so. If you watch and actually understand my 1/4 mile pass , you can here just how far I had to slip the clutch to keep normal street tires from spinning so I lose alot of ground. I'm guessing you have absolutely no experience at dragracing or you would have picked that up. Yes, had I switched to 5th , the Hellcat is going to walk away. But not in this race as you see.
I have a 2017 CAT Challenger with many passes at atco NJ which has good DA and air. I do know a thing or two about dragging. Your are correct, ur car is not a drag car. Amazing track car howver a 2002 Z06 with a good tire with run with ur ass on a road course, been done altready. I will argue that most cats I have seen in my air are 125-126 cars. my car with a tire and DS runs on average 127-128. Also why not do a 60 roll? thats a great sport for a cat

It's a Lund tune. May go back to the track the 18th. Friend has a big event that weekend with bikes and sleds. Us131. Letting some friends run for the day so hopefully the air is good and no headwind this time.

It isn't the fact the car can get to that speed given enough distance it's the time frame it would take and yes my car would have a huge distance between us ( even a red-eye) y the time the hellcats reached 200 so it would definitely be a roast. I have done 164 half mile no wind aide. A hellcat does between 145-148 same 1/2 mile. If I'm pulling a car by nearly 20 mph in 16 secs (that's my half mile time) that is a roast. Again, my guess is you don't race.
The gt350 shines in the track course that’s what the car was made for. Dodge good in straight line. I hate when people try to race gt350 in a roll not enough torque
That's where you're wrong. As you see , taking off at 50mph was able to stay ahead of the Hellcat till about 140 where he starts coming back. However, my car 4th gear would hit limiter at 147mph. At 140 I'm pretty much done. The Hellcat isn't that fast in a straight line until mods. This one bone stock. This was for fun. Neither car considered fast in the real world again until you mod them then decent.
It only had an E85 tune. Everything else stock. It's gone now. Replaced with a BMW M8. Luck of the draw, mine was exceptional compared to most. On Stock tires it went 11.60@124.76mph. quickest fastest tune only 350 known in 1/4 Mile.

Your shelby moves with E85. What tune do you have? I ran a best of 12.37@115 all stock. I lost to a hellcat challenger.
