Shelby GT350 exhaust setup revealed!? Thoughts & sound clips

- Hi guys,
in this video I go over my whole exhaust setup. I explain what I did and what I would recommend you to do with the S550 Mustang, but especially the GT350 platform.
Towards the end I added some sound clips to show you how the car sounds when I rip on it!

Great video. I'm actually in the process of installing SW LTH at the moment and connecting to the Corsa double helix x-pipe (retaining factor mufflers). The latter from what I can see retains the GT350 sound and just increases sound vs. adding raspy sound like the Borla product (just a personal preference). It's great to have a real live experience with what I'm doing so it's great to have that to reassure I'm making a good decision. Thanks man!!
Appreciate the positive feedback! I definitely love the sound of the stock mufflers! Ford did a great job on those. Headers is the best way to go! The car will scream!
Down the road I did also add a full catback from SW as I wanted to go full StainlessWorks, but that's personal preference. In my opinion both options are great, but the catback did refine the sound just a bit more to make it even more beautiful.

Nobody has ever said mufflers increase performance just increases decibels, and today’s technology and mufflers. Even the stock ones flow well
Definitely agree. To a certain extend an aftermarket muffler might help air flow since OEMs have to stick to db limits, but most kids don't care for a hp gain, they just want them loud loud.

Nice to know that you "had" the same set-up I'm going for on my 17' GT350. SW LTH with Corsa Double C Resonator deletes and leaving the stock exhaust. HI is a bit wishy-washy and maybe implementing a DB law for vehicles and Motorcycles👎🏽 so atleast i'll be CAT'd and leaving the stock active eahaust....will still be loud for some ppl🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Mahaloz for sharing🤙🏾

Very nice man! I did love that sound with the headers and X pipe! I can only imagine how loud it is with the double X! Hopefully you won't get in too much trouble and HI will chill out😂 the stock active exhaust is definitely quieter when the valves are close so at least you have that!

i have an R im not even tinting the windows...lol this car is so perfect stock
the windows definitely need tint😂 but yeah other than that the car is pretty sick from factory. However there is a lot of potential that you can tap in😏
@@5.2ltr man i know the car is so amazing....i just feel i can enjoy it and make money on it after im done by leaving it stock.....ii bought it for 60K only 700 miles on it before covid i can sell it now and make money only have 2K miles on it
@@monde1208 I mean in the end it is up to you, but I have driven more miles on mine in 3 days than you have so far😂 This car is meant to be driven and that's what I bought mine for. I have had so much fun every time I am behind the wheel! Enjoy it!
I have the same car. How about long tube headers with an H pipe. X pipe makes it reallt raspy, kills the sound.
Nice! I must disagree 100%. While sound is perceived differently by everyone, I love the X pipe sound as the car is intended to scream (somewhat raspy) and it came with a X pipe from factory. My buddy had an H and switched to an X and he will never go back. IMO a H pipe kills the Voodoo sound, but that's just my opinion.
I just installed an aftermarket Catback and the raspiness is all gone, too! It sound amazing, that is to me!

Ive got the same set up, res delete, SW LT Headers, and people follow me around just to listen to my GT350. Lol
😂thats sick! I changed the catback for a StainlessWorks catback now and love the sound. Just sounds a bit more refined, but both setups are nuts!
@@5.2ltrI’ve torn the 5.2 apart and put all new Internals, Pistons, springs, rods, Fuel tech System with High output Injectors, Steeda adjustable camber on the rear, Steeda Lowering Springs front and rear, LUdZ 93 Track Tune, Mcloud Twin Disk Racing Clutch. It’s like every weekend I drop another 3-5k on that stupid car 🤣
