Would you use a completely different set of suspension for tarmac, or can these be adjusted for both on and off road conditions? Either by adjustment or minimal part swapping?
What’s the service interval on a set of the Reiger Clubmans? Is it 60hrs as mentioned in the servicing video or longer with the more basic damper? I’d like to run something like that on my WRX for street/gravel road use and I’d like it to last 2 yrs between services if possible.
Who does your shock tuning? Beyond being adjustable, what are the major differences in damping between the motorsports and the stock dampers? Do the upgraded shocks offer more travel? Thanks, keep up the good videos.
I had ProFlex evo2 inverted coilovers on my Forester, didn't like them as they were too harsh even with very low damping because the bearings make too much friction, even with the appropriate grease as it gets wiped off of the bearings very fast, having no seals to keep them lubricated. I had 22cm front/25cm rear wheel travel. I now have HotBits non-inverted coilovers with approximately the same overall length but gained 2cm of wheel travel. I am very happy with the Hotbits, only downside being the oil seals that worn off/leaked very fast due to a bad design but replaced with U shaped seals. Now for hard rally conditions, the inverted coilovers are much more robust than the non-inverted coilovers but I'm not driving in those conditions....
I was expecting to see a mich longer shock body, with idk... a long helper spring, and a short main spring. Perhaps internal position sensitive shocks? I want to see WRC rally 1 stuff that rides low, but has 12" of droop travel for soaking up big landings.
Is something like Baratec that much nicer on build quality that Cusco Rally coilovers? not just for the hydraulic bump stops... and with that being said do hydraulic bump stops greatly prevent breaking and long term permanent damage?
It's a lot stronger and gives you more adjustability. What we use here is specifically designed to function better and last longer on rough and loose surfaces.
How about the coil springs almost same as stocks otherwise material and Via metal treatment some improvement does?? On rally car Front MacPherson Sturt with torsional bar just a Idea myself and I know all wheel independent suspension is used on technical terms for front and rear what types are using in rally?? Let me know
Is there a good place here in the US to buy Reiger suspension? Trying to get ahold of a tarmac set for an R2 Fiesta build and can only find one outlet and hes in the UK
What do you recommend for a delivery driver in OKC with constant potholes everywhere in an early 2000's Corolla XRS? My income is completely based on quickness of driving and reliability of my car
@@Obama___ thanks for the information mate! Can you elaborate a little more? For example, if I raise the height and put coilovers on… what kind of spring should I be using to get a good setup?
Hello guys I want to do rally car myself and I was thinking if the opel vectra not the sedan but the hatchback is a good idea or i should look for different car. Thanks
Haha, not really. If you have a really low budget then maybe, but considering the amount of money you need to put in (safety equipment, suspension upgrades etc) you are better off buying a better car than that. Lots of older awd cars out there that would do you good
I also wish a race engineer would once and for all make a video explaining why stanced cars are the dumbest thing to happen send people thinking the Earth is flat
High speed compression for gravel or tarmac ? Can you give us a video on different suspension setup for different surfaces.
I would love to see such a video too!
seriously this guy is clear as mud
Do you usually lift cars like Subaru WRX STI when preparing them for rally on loose surfaces? If so, by how much compared to the stock suspension?
This is the most useful info I've found shocks. Thanks a lot for the effort for bringing us this information. Best regards from Bolivia.
Perfect explanation.

Where i live is full of potholes and I've already started to research rally builds. But not sure of there's kits for a 2020 Corolla
Check Bilstein they have a lot of universal kits.

How does rally suspension ride compared to stock/ something designed for street?

I wonder the same, like if you were to use rally suspension on the street can you get OEM like confort but with motorsport strength

im looking to do some suspension upgrades to my wife 15 outback , where do I find these parts?
So economically it makes more sense to get a high-end aftermarket shock instead of a middle-of-the-road strut and spring setup
the first thing i know about the WRC cars'' shocks is they are longer than a road car, even than i thought.

What are some good sets of suspension for rally?
Do u guys sell the reiger camber spacers ? I bought a used set of reiger that didn't come with any spares

Can you help me with finding Honda 10th generation suspension parts for rally?
Is it a double wishbone suspension setup?
Whats the name of that suspension?
Does adjusting the ride height, also effect the spring rate?
for most coilovers you don't actually adjust the spring, its where it connects to the control arm.

Hard or soft for gravel rally fwd car
I wish someone made rally suspension for the 986 Boxster since you can buy them for a song
Companies like Reiger and Bilstein make universal suspensions systems that could be used for that.
Where i buy this?
What about rally car bush and mount s? What are they made of?
They're made of polyurethane
Do they make the middle ones for e30’s im tryn to get a medium gravel setup
We know they make them for the E36, not sure about the E30 though. They most likely do though.
How much do the higher end reiger shocks cost? I emailed them and they couldnt give me a price
It really depends on what you want. They range from a couple thousand to $25k.
Are reiger suspension are available for VW Polo
They most likely have something for that car.
@@DirtFish from where I can get them online?
White i buy this? For ford focus
What would it be like running the reigers on the street?
It would be fine, but they do require regular service and are quite a bit more expensive.
how can i order some?
Yeah if you got $15,000 to spend

"Caimber" ???? Ooooooooooh camber, gotcha ;)
Looking for someone who can actually make a set of custom Rally coilovers. Anyone know a company name, and/or an email contact, please let me know!
Where are you located?
Great video, very informative, but for the love of God stop smacking your lips every other sentence lmfao
Omg I just noticed that 😂
"Plus, the new shocks has 5 pounds less dirt n scum on them..." q=D
Did he just puked a little in to he's mouth in the beginning of the video?
Home boy is swallowing TOO MUCH for me to be comfortable
Seems drunk. Coming from a previous alcoholic.
Why do you call it came-ber but then call it a cam adjustment not came adjustment?
It’s pronounced cam-ber all over the English speaking world 😊
