For several months I couldn't even go to his or Hoon channels. A man that meant so much to my adolescent years, hit pretty hard. May the days we have on this plane be filled with excitement ànd joy. That's what life's all about. R.I.P. KB you will never be forgotten
If you’re super into this stuff, watch Dust to Glory (original Baja 1000 documentary) and watch guys like Robbie Gordon and Rob MacCachren.. Those drivers will leave you jaw hanging on the floor.. Ken is awesome, but he is brand new in this world and still has a long way to go… Awesome to have him becoming part of this scene though
Shocks aside those hubs and control arms taking an absolute pounding too! I love watching these trucks in slow-mo and it's insane how close they are to RC cars too when slowing down footage of a well set-up car
Pretty insane that he passed away. I honestly thought it would be driving that hoonicorn on the side of that mountain but he’s made such a positive impact in the car community and really showed builders and people in general what we can do or build with normal cars. We all love you KB
That travel at 6:58 is insane, great shot! From an outsider perspective you never realize just how well these things are built to handle these terrains.
Really impressive how a 6000lb truck can go that fast and easily fly over that type of terrain. And of course it has one bada$$, nutbar driver behind the wheel too, no offense intended there Ken. Testing out the limits of this new truck now is going to really pay off for you later. As always, KEN FRICKIN' BLOCK JUST KILLING IT!!!
Awesome video as usual. And thank you for all the support on our Pikes Peak Sport Quattro that we brought with LCE Performance this year. We just finished a unique video about it. Thanks again!
This is easily one of the sickest vids ive ever watched. Watching the suspension work on this rig is just amazing. It got me wanting to buy a Traxxas UDR since i cant afford a full size rig 😂
That Scene at the end with the matching helicopter Was Hard af. Respect to the HHIC and his ventures. & is there a Possibility of an RSQ8 or Amaranger prerunner next season?
Nice to see a CEO that actually knows their product. King shocks. Like passionately knew what everything was. Aslo Ken being observant and saying they make sheet rock down there. Thats a boss thing guys. Take note.
right now I cant not think of the best words to describe you my man. Loosing you has made my tongue numb. But one racer to another....... I FEEL YOU.............! WE FEEL THE SPIRT. and we will try our best to continue your legacy.
Each bypass tube is set at a different level on the shock body so that when the shock piston starts to come up, each bypass is set harder and harder (higher pressure) so that the shock can move faster and more fluid at extension but becomes stiff enough at compression to soak up the big air landings . Also when those bump stops,,,,STOP working and max out, you feel it in the race car!! I rebuilt and tuned many Fox, King, Bilstein Blackhawks and procomp shocks for our team and for customers.. fun stuff. Working with those giant shocks most times takes 2 even 3 people LoL... Great vid guys, kick arse at the BaJa 1k....!
Awesome, watching the suspension articulate in real time and slow motion was intoxicating. Went through the Mojave last week and had loads of fun on some sand woops but nothing like this. Excellent vid.
...it was amazing to watch the roof of the truck barely move (stay level) as KB hammers it through the whoops at the same time see the axles go from bump stop to full extension, sweet -theautojunkie-
8:43 flying parts here and there (including Ken Block himself), but this beast handles whoops like a dream.. Not just the suspension work is insane, also the tyre deformation! :o
Mesmerizing to watch! That suspension is wild. You can see the entire tire (lol) shake and wobble on the wheel after slamming into those massive whoops.
Just amazing the video work , seeing the suspension travel in slow motion and the truck skipping across the desert is so cool . The question is how does your body feel with all the different G forces your going through ?
Thanks for this realy interresting view on the suspension of those trucks. It is cool to see the backwheels go down to keep contact as long as possible! I like this technical stuff! More! More! More!
8:40 to 8:50 truly shows how capable this offroad animal is. This truck lands and has all four tires back on the ground and ready to put the power back down.
I just went to the Baja500 for the first time ever cause my friends were running a UTV (won their class) and I know nothing about cars. I fucking had no idea how much tech/engineering snd art was involved in making these machines run. This video help me further understand that the world is a wonder full of miracles. Thanks you. (props to the editor for adding in some humor and fun pacing)
RIP to such a legend. Great quality video. I am working on getting my videos to this quality. It is just so entertaining and educational. Itbis just amazing.
Rest in peace you legend!!! You have made your mark for anything on 4wheels
And snowmobiles 😂
Skateboare,guitar & snowboard
This comment could have done without these 2 fkn baffoons correcting you. Rip to the 4 wheel legend
Legend on any fast extreme sports like dirt bikes, snowboarding, snowmobiles, if it has wheels he could whip it
Just anything with wheels really

Rest in Peace, Ken. This will be one of my all time favorite vid ✨️
Whos here in 2024 missing this guy?
Always.
Im watching this video in Vietnam 🇻🇳
❤
This is some of the coolest motor sport stuff I've seen. Unreal that suspension 😮😮😀😀
Agreed. I love watching desert racing. Sadly, I dont live in the desert.
Go watch bj Baldwins old videos
Brandon is the King of shocks

Look at the awd Mason mcmillin truck, it's worth twice what this truck cost and mcmillin is one of the fastest. Also harley letner is insane to watch
Shocks aside those hubs and control arms taking an absolute pounding too! I love watching these trucks in slow-mo and it's insane how close they are to RC cars too when slowing down footage of a well set-up car
That's what I'm sayin! I can't believe the freakin hubs don't explode!
@@jasonsell8523 the Arnold Schwarzenegger of hub bearings
It’s mesmerizing watching all the suspension mechanics working
Exactly my feelings, I was going to say "in slo-mo it looks like a toy car"
You race professional grade rc trucks? Too?
Pretty insane that he passed away. I honestly thought it would be driving that hoonicorn on the side of that mountain but he’s made such a positive impact in the car community and really showed builders and people in general what we can do or build with normal cars. We all love you KB
Showed my wife the technology in bump stops she wasn't fazed I was blown away
The scenes showing the suspension in action is amazing honestly
"Bump stops". What an advanced technology they are. Model T probably had bump stops as well as ever other vehicle created.
That travel at 6:58 is insane, great shot! From an outsider perspective you never realize just how well these things are built to handle these terrains.
Easily the hardest part of the video. ROWDY
I thought 8:06 was an incredible look at how the suspension works in a similar way
Really impressive how a 6000lb truck can go that fast and easily fly over that type of terrain. And of course it has one bada$$, nutbar driver behind the wheel too, no offense intended there Ken. Testing out the limits of this new truck now is going to really pay off for you later.
As always, KEN FRICKIN' BLOCK JUST KILLING IT!!!
8:45 something did fall off at the front?
@@PavelKostromitinov gopro I think but I’m not totally sure. Nice spot, I didn’t notice it
I really appreciate how you go into technical detail on how stuff works in relevance to what Ken Block is driving.
This kind of racing wouldn't be possible with out guys like Ken pushing the limits of design.
Awesome stuff Ken!
The slowmo is just about to be the best thing in this world
Nah. BJ
No. You are an idiot. The slo mo needs to go go. I want to see what’s actually happening.
Rest in peace Ken you were a real legend for all the world of motosport
Rest in peace. An absolute legend
Awesome video as usual. And thank you for all the support on our Pikes Peak Sport Quattro that we brought with LCE Performance this year. We just finished a unique video about it. Thanks again!
I'm starting to see you more often in the comments!
Life goals - get shots like this. That truck looks unreal with that buttery slow mo. The whole thing was beautiful.
Hats off the editor in this vids. Always killin it 😵😵
Maybe rephrase this :P
This is easily one of the sickest vids ive ever watched. Watching the suspension work on this rig is just amazing. It got me wanting to buy a Traxxas UDR since i cant afford a full size rig 😂
Do it!
That Scene at the end with the matching helicopter Was Hard af. Respect to the HHIC and his ventures. & is there a Possibility of an RSQ8 or Amaranger prerunner next season?
The artistic ability to get those monster claws aligned perfectly and the colors, just a very KOOL shot, to say the least...
Came to say the exact same thing!!! Gnarly shit
If I know Ken and I'd like to think I do, he'll probably hoon a Raptor next :v
8:46 You can see how one of the cameras fell from front bumper! Wow!
I don’t know about anyone else, but I just need a shirt with Zach’s face on it yelling “BAJA UPDATE!!!”
A sticker at least! lol
Rest in peace, will always be a true legend in the vehicle world.
Nice to see a CEO that actually knows their product. King shocks. Like passionately knew what everything was. Aslo Ken being observant and saying they make sheet rock down there. Thats a boss thing guys. Take note.
The SloMo clips are sick! 😎
I’ve always loved suspension and that’s some of the best footage I’ve seen. Amazing how the rear wheels follow the ground so well!
right now I cant not think of the best words to describe you my man. Loosing you has made my tongue numb.
But one racer to another....... I FEEL YOU.............! WE FEEL THE SPIRT. and we will try our best to continue your legacy.
So cool to see the shocks work in slow motion. Its mind blowing
One of my favorite videos on youtube, Rest in peace you legend!!
There goes the action cam flying from the front bumper at 8:46? 😀
The little go pro that couldn't.
Rip
Want to see that footage...

ngl the new livery looks sick
There's not many things I'd rather watch than slow motion trophy trucks :) Great work
I can't think of anything more satisfying to watch than a well built truck skipping whoops in slow mo. Poetry in motion 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Everything in this video is sick, love that helicopter!!!
This is my all time fav video. RIP to the legend.
This thing looks like a mountain biker going over rollers. So smooth🔥
King: How much wheel travel would you be needing Ken?
Ken near the Mexican border: Si.
Lots of congratulations to King Shocks for developing such an optimal suspension for one of the most hard core type of off road ever.
...it was amazing to watch the roof of the truck barely move (stay level) as KB hammers it through the whoops at the same time see the axles go from bump stop to full extension, sweet -theautojunkie-
Love how Robby Gordon been doing videos like this for years
This suspension travels more than a pilot. Well done boys 👍.
As usual the editor is killing it with these movies clips sprinkled in.
Perfect music to put for this
I love how stable the heli goes at 9:05
Ultimate camera work because of suspension visuals. Shoot more videos in this mode! Fantastic!!
gx 470 in the back ground !
your new truck works amazing @ken
Ken Block pulling off an epic stunt and coupling it with epic filming. My Thursday is now complete.
Fuiste de los mejores ken Descansa en paz ídolo 🙏
We miss you ken

it was a go pro
@@afonsogouveia2109 Yep, it looks like one with a holder arm ;)
I just wanna see what the go pro captured.
Did anyone notice at around 8:44 when he nosedived the GoPro camera was ripped off the front and tumbled under? Good stuff!
Dude them slo mo shots were SO sick!🤙🏻👌🏻
That was some of the best slow-mo footage I've ever seen in any video. Very well done team
Rip
I hope you live a live as good as on Earth up there
Man to think your gone .😢 you have made history in the world of Motorsports
It’s crazy how much this just looks like forza in slow motion. Shows how far technology has really come
Mesmerizing to watch! That suspension is wild. You can see the entire tire (lol) shake and wobble on the wheel after slamming into those massive whoops.
You know… if Zach was holding the Go Pro,suspended below the chopper, screaming BaHa, as you hit those whoops, that would be an awesome clip.
The way the rubber of the wheels deforms during the bumps is so impressive
Rest In Peace Ken 🙁
Just amazing the video work , seeing the suspension travel in slow motion and the truck skipping across the desert is so cool . The question is how does your body feel with all the different G forces your going through ?
It's crazy how those thing keep the wheels stuck to the ground like they do through the whoops...
It's super majestic in slow mo👌
8:46 RIP Gopro
ooh so that's what that was... I was wondering what got yeeted out of the truck...
That shot with the heli beside is incredible! The body of that truck hardly moves, shows how amazing that suspension is. So sick!
Zac : Is there a sweet spot where it kinda floats, speed kida wise ?
Ken: As fast as possible.
10:40 🤣👍
Nothing gets me more excited than a BAAAJAAAAAAAAA UPPPDAAAAAAATE!
people: "this desert has the shittiest bumps on the planet"
Ken: " If I go near 200 km/h the suspension will absorb it"
🧠
I was MOST excited for Ken in a TT because the world would’ve gotten the Ken Block villain arc where he eventually came face to face with BJ Baldwin
183 KPH. SOUNDS FASTER THAN SAYING HE IS GOIN 113 MPH. I GUESS. 🙄🙄 THE AMERICAN WHO GREW UP READING MPH ONTHE DASH .. TOO FUNNY 🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There's nothing funny about, KPH is just better and easier to visualize lol
Bro that filming rig looks like it’s from a hollywood movie set lmao
Thanks for this realy interresting view on the suspension of those trucks.
It is cool to see the backwheels go down to keep contact as long as possible!

Great dude to talk with
About suspension and stuff
I don’t know what I appreciate more the driving the truck or the camera work all spectacular!
Woops, woops, and more woops, thank god for the ballast on the tail gate.....nice driving Ken.
9:11 tho, that clip right there is straight 🔥 absolutely amazing camera and heli work
8:40 to 8:50 truly shows how capable this offroad animal is. This truck lands and has all four tires back on the ground and ready to put the power back down.
The slow motions sequences are just E-P-I-C !
The slo mo really shows just how much the suspension takes a hammering. 😲🚘
Oh man, Ken. I am soo sad ... just rewatching my highlights.
CHOPPER + TRUCK DUO = EYEGASM. God damn I could watch that all day!!!
Can we talk about the chopter's pilot skills? That was LOOOOOWWWW

All that slo mo is the best automotive video I’ve ever seen
Holy smokes I never knew such bad-ass suspension existed. Wow, I am thoroughly impressed at the technology and how the truck handles the terrain.
Did you know we have rockets that can launch into space now too?
Rest in Peace, Legend.
🫡🏆👏
This man got me into these trucks
RIP KB #43❤️
This is so f$&king bad ass!! Best slow mo ever and makes you appreciate the intensity of the suspension. Epic music too!! 43 is a warrior!
The slow mo shots are just violent and brutal. The forces that happen on the whole vehicle must be absolutly destruction on materials.
RIP to such a legend. Great quality video. I am working on getting my videos to this quality. It is just so entertaining and educational. Itbis just amazing.
R.I.P Ken Block 😓
The way he handles the vehicle is amazing! Hats off and someone by that chopper pilot a cold one!
Amazing footage what blows me away the most is watch the sub-frame metal distort and axtually flex/change shape but not break.
Caught me off-guard with the Bowfinger reference at 2:50 😂
Ken Block and his team are strait up monsters
I love these FKN trucks. The way the suspension work it art, especially in slow motion.
Fun fact: I went to high school with the photographer Evan! Super cool dude! Good to see him killin it!
