I am shopping for new summer clothes. Now a 14, so I can buy regular size clothes now plus! Loved the info. Ready to go shopping.

Thank you ladies for such a wonerful and helpful video!! Antonia looked amazing in all of these outfits!! I would never have tried on the rainbow colored dress but it was probably my favorite!! Just gorgeous on!!❤ I feel that my shape and size is so similar but with a larger bust. Being 5'3" with a tummy, short torso and larger bust is such a challenge when it comes to fashion!! Thanks again to you both!! ❤

Antonia looks very stylish and lovely in all outfits!
I think the rainbow dress was the most flattering on her and the striped one was begging me to buy it
I also look smaller in tighter shirts but there is a fine line between flattering and too tight/too thin (I have a big bust for my size) and I think lots of your advice apply for me even if my body weight are not on my stomach.
I've never tought about "The safety layer" like that, but I actually feel it!
You and all your team are teaching me how to shop better and to consider different shapes. Thank you

I love your channel, so happy I found it. I can relate to Antonia, I am also 5 foot 1" and have trouble getting clothes to fit me. I was very surprised to hear about the c-sections and how she described her tummy- I've had 2 c-sections and I have the same issues (how the tummy bubbles). I also have the same wobbly insecurities with my tummy. I just turned 50 and I am putting on weight in my middle for the first time in my life. Ugh. I am not able to afford many of the pieces you show, however I am trying to incorporate your hourglass shaping tips with my budget. My lifestyle is very casual, I appreciate that you show clothes for all different lifestyles. Thank you Melissa!

So I adopted a siberian forest cat who had a huge belly flap, apron, snack pack, whatever you want to call it. The vet says this is called the "Primordial Pouch", The primordial pouch is a belly flap composed of a small amount of fatty tissue and loose skin. Ahem. I am trying to learn more about what to wear. I'm 4'10", chubby, but I'm very, very top heavy. NOTHING looks good. Also, I'm not comfortable in dresses. I feel like its always a dress that does it. Im a def jean a top person. And because of my top. Dresses don't fit on the top and too big on the bottom. As well as blazers. #1 I get way too hot and they arms and bust never fit properly! The arms are always 15 ft too long but they stand straight out because I can't move them. They are to tight. And bigger, is just bigger not fitter! Im not trying to be negative, just trying to say more about the struggles im facing. This is just a few! But dresses are not really for me. I really need summer looks also that dont break the bank. Uhg life lol. I keep learning!

This video is SPOT ON! I´ve loved all your videos, but this one speaks to me. I´m 5´3´, I used to be hourglass shaped, but my small waist has disappeared into a soft middle. This,
despite regular weight training at the gym. I´ve had a terrible time finding clothes in recent years. Add to that, I´m a ballroom dance student (Yes, at my advanced age), and this video helped explain why I've had such hard time finding dance clothes, both for practice and for performance, that are flattering. I am shopping while watching the video. Did you know that the adorable denim dress is now completely sold out. I'm sure it's because of this video. If you see something similar, I'd love to have a look. Also, a couple of the shoe choices weren't visible. I'd especially like to see what the "brown sandal" looked like. Thank you MM and Antonia. I feel lighter just watching the video.

Interesting about what you said regarding the “shelf”, because I definitely have that but I have no children or any surgeries, so I wonder if it’s just age, really, that creates that shape

Loved this video. I have the same stomach problem. I’m 66, 5 ft 4 but my chest is 34G. I never wear white on top unless there’s a layer on top like you showed. I also have a short torso & long legs so people always think I’m much taller. Keep making these. I learn so much. By the way I live in NY. ❤

Also 5ft 4in (really 5 ft 3 1/2in!), 58 and a NYer and trying to style around my C-section shelf and tummy has been so frustrating! Have been trying these styling tips and it's getting better.

Look, I love a good trouser but being the same size as Antonia I find that the type of trousers you are dressing her in have way too much fabric going on in the upper leg. I find when I wear a trouser that is more fitted in the upper leg (not tight, just less baggy) and then flares out more toward the bottom, it does wonders to elongate my shorter stature. Same goes for the cream blazer... wouldn't it elongate her legs more, creating a taller leaner appearance, if that blazer was just a tad bit shorter? I feel like I'm correct here, in my assessment, but if I'm wrong, please let me know in what way, as I'd really like to understand. Thank you. Thank you, also, always, for all of your efforts in showing all different body types.

Yes that would work too but it creates a very different look from one that Antonia wanted.

Across the pond in America we call it a stomach apron! From surgeries where they cut the muscle you never naturally get that flat stomach back…

I really appreciate the attention to detail but also your comments about “hot countries” because as much as I really like the navy blue cargo , white shirt , blue striped shirt brown long line coat the whole thing had me sweating by watching.😅 but she looked beautiful and if yall have that cool a weather then that is great .

The striped rick rack dress is gorgeous. My favorite! Carrying the big tote bags gets in the way of seeing the full outfit. Maybe show the outfit first, then add the bag?

I also am happy for Antonia to be on the show. Even though I am not short(5'7). I carry weight about the middle with a short torso, and the stomach apron( fupha) from having 2 c-sections.

I have loved Antonia since you styled her in the patterned puff sleeve dress from Zara last year (which I bought btw, and have received MANY compliments on it). MORE ANTONIA PLEASE!!! Specifically, I would love to see you style her in matching 2 pc sets (skirt / shirt or short / shirt combos). THANK YOU!!!!

That’s an easy one to rectify by simply wearing high waisted trousers then tucking your top in, the will re proportion your frame.
