I like your review and your sense of humour! Is this the LG WM3998HBA model? I m considering buying one but i want to read people's reviews of the machine. I had a LG washer and dryer for about 17 years and worked great for the most part. (drying was not good on my old smaller model). I am wondering if this machine does a better job.
The dry works for me better in no spin setting. I like to have a spin for the wash but the dry has to be a no spin/ low spin . I don’t really understand why but it cut down the times it takes to dry. I really liked mine! The fact that it dry the clothes make the gasket mold free ❤ .

Have you seen a mark when you open the washer door, a limit of clothes to put for efficient dry cycle? On mine there’s a limit line . It should never be crossed if you want to do a wash and dry . To dry the clothes it needs space to steam the clothes dry while it spin the wetness. The limit seem to be at 50-60% at mine
I have a brand new LG THIN Q COMBO. I hate it!!! Will not dry a load in under 8 hours!! No crap, I've checked, I've read, I've trouble shooted, I've done just dry. Does NOT dry! Sucks don't buy it my friends!!!

It will dry but for me I had to set a long time for that to happen. We really rarely use ours anymore and will more than likely sell it.

Did what you did....try that dry cycle 4x ....it doesn't dry, it's steamy, wrinkled mess!
