    I have this model. As with many new washing machines and dryers, it is impossible to choose exactly the type or time of wash you want. The manufacturers are only interested in reducing water use, not in producing something user-friendly.
    You are restricted to about 12 programmes, and you have to experiment to find the one that's nearest to what you want.

    Thanks for this, mine arrived this morning from AO. I had an LG washing machine and loved it, direct drive is definitely the best. I only sold it because our present property had a washing machine which matched the decor. Thanks for the tutorial, I'm just going to load the machine 😊

    Very helpful! We just got ours a few weeks ago and I’ve been struggling to figure it out. Do you notice a funny smell once the clothes are done? Almost like a burnt smell. Even when the clothes are still a little damp I smell it.

      Do you mean after a drying cycle? That's probably the steam from the steam cleaning cycle, which I do get but doesn't bother me as such. Hello, maybe a stupid question, but how do I use wash only? I recently got a similar LG washing+drying combo, and I have some clothing that on the labels it mentions specifically to not put them in a dryer. The manual doesn't specify how to turn drying off entirely, so I have just not been washing these pieces of clothing trying to figure out how to not dry my wash. Is there a way to just wash, and if so, is there an easy way to check if drying is disabled (an LED not lighting up or something like that)? Thanks in advance!

    I am really confused whether to go for a washer dryer or just washing machine. I want to go for the washer dryer because it is good to have a dryer for emergencies but many have said that it doesn't do either jobs perfectly as the separate ones do and is expensive to repair. What are your thoughts regarding this?

    • @homehelper9273
      @homehelper9273  3 года назад +1

      I've not had any repairs so far and have not found it to be a problem with either washing or drying. My main issue is that it tends to dry things for too long. Otherwise, I use the manual time setting and check clothes to see if they're dry and that's it. We live in a small apartment, for which the space it saves is invaluable.

      How full is it? Have you left some room at the top? Try using the auto time setting for drying (i.e. time by weight) - might be more like 2hr30mins. And make sure you're not over the 5kg drying limit (if you have the 8kg/5kg version, or equivalent in weight).

      @@shadiabusinni If it was over filled, that would prevent proper drying. Otherwise, hard to say from here. Good luck with it 👍🏻

      Sorry to hear that. If you have a specific question about the machine that wasn't answered in this video, you should be able to find the answer in a shorter, dedicated video here: ruclips.net/p/PLvA3Tur-bsemnEwkW7qkNt5msU_0b42Ln

    Can u use this with a sink?

      It has a hook-hose fitting that hooks over the edge of a sink, for the discharge water.

      What about getting water into it?

      @@shilohjohnson6920 You might be able to buy a special hose that fits onto your cold tap. Maybe on eBay. But the hose that comes with the machine needs a special washing machine tap to connect to, under your sink.
