Paid an LG repairman to tell me after 5 years and now not drying there was nothing wrong. My handyman followed your instructions, and my dryer is fixed. Thank you.
Just had to comment to give another thanks! Was freaking about having to send it in, but this did the trick! I did replace the pressured water with boiled water (so I could do the procedure inside), but it worked out perfectly fine.
Exactly it’s embarrassing. Kudos for the guy showing all this though. Only reason I bought LG is that it was the only one narrow enough to fit, but in 4 years I have almost never used the drying functionality because it’s useless. With the electric prices as well I just dry my clothes in my bathroom and living room instead.
To thoroughly clean the condensate chamber (white chamber under the fan to the bottom rear of the drum). You must remove it and use a long brush. The part has small chambers that are filled with lint. This is unfortunately the lint filter.
Thank you very much ! this worked really well on our 6 year old machine, we always used many drying cycles to get the job done and we though that it was normal to have damp clothes at the end of the washing+ drying cycles thinking it was our fault rather than the machine dryer being clogged on the inside with lint

Would be ideal yes. Might do another video with that option. Thanks
Horrible investment. I wished I never brought this crap. Now instead of doing laundry every Friday I gotta do laundry every 3 days. I understand about the load thing BUT I washed like 4 pairs of jeans. Dried for like an hour 20 minutes and it was still damp. I’m so frustrated. When I get a chance I’m giving this piece of shit 1 star every chance I get.
why the fk does the dryer take hours when dryer's take like 20mins normally to dry shit lol
I feel your frustration. Problem with washer dryers is they are first a washing machine then a dryer. So it’s a wet environment. The other thing is the drying is condenser drying technology which is better but takes longer. If they used vented it would be quicker to dry
So are you suggesting that my tiny sister lift a 300 plus pound unit and carry it downstairs and outside???😮 This is the worst machine ever made. Do the engineers still have jobs??? O wonder customer service is so horrible on a 3 week old machine. ITS A 🍋 LEMON!!!
Sadly the design wasn’t so good back then. The newer ones have a filter/screen at the top under the fan so you can service it in place
The worst washing machine ever!!!
Thank you so much for this.
Thank you so very much
