The amount of things that needed to come together perfectly for this run is absolutely unreal. There were so many times where it would have failed if Doug didn’t grab one specific item earlier, or if the line was just one pixel off
You can actually regain infinite stamina while swimming by climbing a wall, exhausting your stamina, and falling into the water. In TOTK, they added a new mechanic that makes it so if you fall into water with 0 stamina, you regain a little bit. This can be used repeatedly with no cooldown. You just need a climbable wall next to the water. Doug does it by accident at 13:08 because he ran out of stamina while gliding
That Tekken 5 song at 20:55 is the best nostalgia meme ever. The guy shouting "YEAH C'MON" has been in my head rent free for years and it is today I realised that he's been in the walls this whole time.

I love all your videos because of how unique you are and your dynamic with your chat. But this video is a home run dude. The editing, the challenge itself, the whole thing had a finesse to it.
DougDoug has a talent for making twitch stream videos work very very well for youtube. Its like twitch chat itself is an actual character and not thousands of people, and editing the stream in a way that the chat feels like a solid contribution. Ive noticed a lot of other gaming content channels that are edited streams sort of feel awkward about the twitch chat stuff, but Doug makes it so easy to not only include chat but make them likeable. That, and he really does have an eye for story telling and a very goofy but likeable sense of humor.

DougDoug has a talent for making twitch stream videos work very very well for youtube. Its like twitch chat itself is an actual character and not thousands of people, and editing the stream in a way that the chat feels like a solid contribution. Ive noticed a lot of other gaming content channels that are edited streams sort of feel awkward about the twitch chat stuff, but Doug makes it so easy to not only include chat but make them likeable.
That, and he really does have an eye for story telling and a very goofy but likeable sense of humor.

@@Yolwoocle Yeah, I'd rather Doug had been saying meters too, but it still makes a sort of sense when referring to the map. A meter is probably a pixel on there. Doug kept using it to describe distances outside the map, though.
I'm so glad this got turned into a video! That stream was a blast to be part of, and I'm haply that energy was able to be properly translated over into video form.

Just realised this video is probably the closest I have and will ever come to a religious experience. The music, the sheer power of the line, the feeling of sharing a space with other Line believers, all made for an otherworldly experience.
