Up to 70% of a pallid bat’s diet can be scorpions at certain times of the year. Millions of Mexican free-tailed bats roost in the Bracken Cave each year between March and October. 'Larboard' and 'starboard' are nautical terms for a ship's left and right side respectively. 'Larboard' was changed to 'port' in the early 1800s.
Ironically enough it's easier for me to remember Larboard vs Starboard as opposed to Port vs Starboard
Imo port is so much better. Though that may be because I learned Port and Starboard at like 6 years old so it's kind of engrained.

When you search a term on thesauri, you get *all* the synonyms regardless of context, so sassy and facial means a person is direct (the tone of voice doesn't matter, evidently), whereas the stern is the back of a ship, as opposed to the bough, which is the front.

I'm not trying to be pedantic, just bringing it up because we're talking words here, it's actually the "bow" of a ship. "Bough" is pronounced the same but spelled that way its a tree branch
@@kramenisfalling Well, I looked it up as a result of your correction - which I appreciate, by the way, because I don't want to be wrong - and learned something today, mainly that English is confusing, that bow and bow can mean two different things and pronounced two different ways depending on it being a verb or a noun, that even official media, educational textbooks and other sources have taught me the wrong definition and spelling since I started learning English in the 3rd grade. Kind of embarrassing. That said, I wish it were how I said it because I like that spelling. Still, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

The first time I played Breath of the wild i got lost in the path somehow, so instead I climbed the entire mountain without any fire protection until I stumbled into death Mountain. I then went into the Village through the back whilst pause buffering to constantly eat my food supply

in My first run everything was so horribly wrong
I found kakarico village via getting stuck inna river and drifting downstream
I was trying to get back to Kakariko after leaving to get some item or something for a quest, but somehow ended up at the fucking banks of Lanayru River before I realized that I might be a bit lost.

Larboard is the opposite of Starboard. I've played FF14 enough to know when Omega is using Larboard you better be on his right side. I remember how much his Starboard and Larboard attacks got me in the past when I was trying to learn the fight.

For those who may have been wondering, “Kiss Babies” would be seen as a synonym for “Run” in the same way that “Hit the campaign trail” would.
If you think of “Run” like “Running for office” many officials would “kiss babies” to gain popularity amongst voters, thus it is synonymous.
Hopefully this clears up Doug’s (and your) confusion.

Sassy is a synonym for forward because forward has multiple meanings. Sure, it means the direction directly in front of the subject, but it also means to be bold with another person, almost overly so. So, while sassy doesn't necessarily mean bold, or being forward, you can often be forward by being sassy.
But I do agree with Doug, you should pick a synonym that means the same as the meaning of forward that means the direction in front of you.
