that's exactly what I did! I downgraded from a heavy Harley and bought myself an Indian scout 60 because I am 74yrs old but I would like to keep on riding until my last day on earth, so, with my new 2021 Indian I have still been able to enjoy my love for riding because these scouts are low, light and not heavy, they are very easy to handle in every way you need to handle them. So! THANK YOU INDIAN MOTORCYCLES FOR EXTENDING MY ABLILITY OF RIDING. be safe everyone and enjoy life on a Motorcycle no matter what you ride.
At 72 yo, I finally bought my first bike. She had an incredible knowledge and delivery of the Indian products line. Wish Harley would do the same. While I bought a Harley, I probably would have strongly considered and Indian. Only issue is that while the base cost were very competitive, the accessories that come with a new bike the priciest up there with Harley.
The Motor Company is the template that Indian was striving to meet. And maybe it's my preconception, but the different Indian models seem more straight forward and less confusing then the alphabet soup designations of H-D. Or maybe it was the way Angel laid it out in this video! Good Luck with your new ride!
Brief yet informative explanation of each bike and their differences. Been waiting for a video like this for quite a while, as I'm sure many others have been as well. Thank you 👊
Good video,I am 71 years old and had to trade my Triumph Trophy because It was getting to top heavy.I thought I was all done riding.I took a look at a Scout 60,tp make a long story short I brought it home. What a bike!I think I will trade it in for a Scout"Classic" for a little more power. Thanks again for the video.
I learned a lot from this video! Very helpful for someone like me in the market for one. If I may.. a big difference worth mentioning is that the scout sixty has only 5 gears while it’s big brother has 6. Some people may not care but for me that was basically a deal breaker for the sixty.
In Michigan currently looking at a bobber for a first bike and I love the way they look. Just need the weather to get a little warmer here to actually test ride one. This comparison of all the bobbers was really helpful!
Update as of 6-20-23 The rogue is now offered in an icon, which makes tanks, fenders and quarter fairing color match. (I have a copper metallic 2023 rogue icon) and the quarter fairing (at least mine, is MOST DEFINITELY not quick release. It's not horrible to remove but does have to bolts under the top triple clamp that holds the top bracket in place.
Great job on explaining the differences between the Scout models. I'm just starting to look into which model suits me best, and this video really helped. thank you!
Fantastic breakdown and presentation by Angel! Just picked up my Rogue in BSM from Riverside. Will be sure to stop by and say hello to the SD store very soon!
Yeah I'd more than likely go for the Scout "Classic," though the Bobber does look nice (yet somewhat uncomfortable looking). I wish you guys had the Copper Smoke color on the Classic.
I rode the rogue with an dr jekill and mr hyde exhaust full system on it, and it was a blast, I love that bike, I am not a cruiser person but that Rogue never left my mind.
This young lady does such a fine job with the video. I will be going to the Indian dealer in Charlotte North Carolina. I am looking at either the rogue or the twenty and have not made up my mind yet. Thank you for such an informative video. I am really loving the fit and finish on the Indian motorcycles and they are turning out more power than competitors.
I have been researching the Indian scouts, 60s, bobber and rogue but I have never heard of the 20. Great review I'm thinking about getting 20 and adding a quarter fairing....🤔❤️💪🏾
I recently purchased a scout rogue abs. Coming off Kawasaki Nomad,I do miss the size difference, BUT with the fact I'm 5'4" this rogue fits me perfectly. It is definitely a fun piece of machinery to ride.
Nice to finally see a video just on the Scout series bikes that covers more than most other videos. Great job! Two weeks ago I had ordered my 2022 Scout (classic) ABS Black Metallic. I had to pay a $500.00 deposit. Unfortunately they're on a six week backorder.
Thank you, Robert! We're glad you liked the video and found it useful :). Sorry to hear that you'll have to wait on your new Scout.. but it will be well worth it! Congratulations!!
@@indianmotorcycleofsandiego25 I had received a status update just this afternoon. My order is built! Yes, it's still a couple weeks out for delivery, but it is definitely worth the wait. Edit 08/13/2022; I had taken delivery of my Scout just yesterday afternoon. I absolutely love my classic. I am happy with my purchase.
yupper! great video, looking at the classic scout(i call it the standard)yesterday, beautiful. you explained a whole bunch on the different models. and i must say, you made the video so much better than some bearded big ole boy trying to explain the differences. i see an indian in my future, i currently ride a rebel 500, i love my bike, but the scout looks awesome. great video, thank you.
Thanks for a great run down on these. Been looking at the Scout since 2015! Sold my Beemer and think this bike would suit and fit me much better. Like the idea of the 60. May have to take a good look at this one. 😀
Just stopped by earlier today and felt a great vibe. Threw my leg over some scouts. Will def be back to get one after the new year :) thank you for being a great company and for having such a great spot for San Diego.
I've been looking at many factory so-called bobbers and the only one that comes close in my opinion to what I believe hey Barbara should look like would be the 20/20 triumph TFC Barber and giant bobber black.
I’m from San Diego. I am hoping to upgrade in the near future! Can you do a video on options for short female riders. I’ve been told I can do modifying the scouts so I can fit better on it!
Awesome video! I was looking into the bobber didn’t even know about the rogue but man a bobber with a couple rogue accessories would be absolutely fire! Or just a rogue!
I'm downsizing in my old age as well. Great video! I wish you would do a part two for this with the 101 and let us know parts are compatible with it. My only concern is the tank size on longer trips.
7 almost identical bikes and one that stands out which is actually the nicest one in the lineup imo, They're like lego bikes just mix and match parts to suit your style and preference.
these Scouts should come with longer rear shocks , taller more padded dual seat , single muffler , mid pegs , bigger mud guards , and more colour options , and flat track handlebars . . and be $9990. 00 ride away . 18 , 17 inch wheel option and chain drive option . pretty please . maybe even an 863 cc engine 52.6 cubic inch . voila , the Indian Scout Tour (Adventure ? )version .
Wow. You made THE PERFECT VIDEO I WAS LOOKING FOR. Love from India. Me and my brother want to open a biker theme bar here. I really want to promote this iconic brand because here india, harley is more popular and i want indian to capture the market
Very informative video! This was helpful as I am looking to get either a Scout Bobber or a Rogue. I am 6’1, and you said the Scout was adjustable. Would you recommend the Scout Bobber or the Rogue?
Not sure if I was just lucky but I have the Scott Rogue 60 and it came with the cable covers and the USB port. It’s only five speed but my very first bike I love it great video thanks for the lineup
Very well made and informative! However it didn't answer the question I was looking for; Why do some scout bobbers have blacked out exhaust pipes, some have chrome, and some are half-half? Is that model specific, or just an added bit of pre-market customisability?
Can't really "legitimately" customize it the way I'd want if can't have fenders any color to match the tank or contrast outside of black. One big con, for me. Love that Rogue!!

Hey Rich! Great question. "20" refers to the Bobber Twenty, which is a full size Bobber with spoke wheels and ape hangers. "60" Is the 1,000 cc (60 cubic inch) model that's a little smaller than the "full size" Bobber at 1130 cc (69 cubic inch.) When we say "Classic" all we're referring to is the FENDER style. Thanks Rich, hope that helps!

Biggest difference for me is the 'classic' scout has a 1 inch longer rear shock compared to the bobber/rogue models.
