Man the way you did this video is perfect for someone looking for totally useful info, and no fluff. Anyone making motorcycle review videos can take tips from this!
You can pull up on any expensive bike people will automatically think you are a douchebag, its not a harley thing. If you give a $#it what people think, motorcycles are not for you.
To improve comfort on this type of machine, replace the seat with a sprung solo seat and add slight riseand pull back to the handlebars. These small changes can make a big difference.
Bought mine about a month ago and already have 1500km on it. I absolutely adore it as well! I switched the seat with the Indian scout comfort seat and for me it did a insane difference on 200km+ rides, while not changing the look of the bobber! Saving up for the passenger seat and foot bars but it is a complete blast. So much fun!
I bought a honda hardtail chopper, fixed it up how I like, purple rat bobber, then drove from sacramento-billings Montana on it, then the electrical failed in montana and trailered and fixed at home. Bought with 22k, now has close to 28 after less than a year and it being down for repairs many times while ironing out previous owners quick jobs
Got 13,600 on my scout 60 bobber and I ride it hard. Zero complaints, clutch needs some adjustment but boy, it's the perfect cruiser. Extremely reliable so far.
I’d also like to just say. You NEED to post more. Your camera angles/ pans are some of the best I’ve seen. Your personality really fits the ‘vlogger’ style. Keep up the good work! Only 3 videos posted and I wish there was more to watch. Been watching motovlogs for years but honestly this is probably my new favourite channel.
WOW! I mean... wow!!! This means a lot! Thank you so much for this amazing feedback. It really lights a fire under me to keep creating! Expect more videos soon!
Awesome review! I own a 2021 Indian Scout Bobber Sixty, matte black, ABS, at 3,200 miles so far. Getting the Freedom Performance Combat 2-1 exhaust put on as we speak (super excited after waiting all summer). This is a great review that highlights all the talking points unique to the bobber style. I’m one season in and absolutely love the bike, even considering the sacrifice of comfort like you mention (and if you’re over 30 like me you absolutely do feel it after a couple hours of riding). It’s honestly my dream bike.
Ah man, thank you so much!! It really means a lot coming from you! It did take some time and I even messed up my back, but it was worth it! Had a lot of fun and Im super proud of it!
Picked up a 2020 bobber back in March, put almost 8k on already and couldn’t agree with your review more! Threw the stage one kit on with some Bassani slip ons, a Saddlemen solo seat, upgraded the front light to an LED, some odds and ends upgrades and am 110% satisfied. They did well with the bobber for sure! Ride on and keep the shiny side up brother!
@@briarfox637 It’s a very easy bike to handle. If you bang it out hard it’s still very manageable. Shift patterns are preferred in higher RPMs so they’re built very well for the HP they put out.
I've put over 13k on my '19 Scout Sixty, and I love it! I bought mine at Dream Machines too and did exactly the opposite of what you did. I was planning to buy the Bobber but once I sat on it I knew my back couldn't handle the riding position with the number of miles I wanted to put down. I'm grateful that manufacturers offer so many options so that we can all walk in with different needs and leave happy.
Any Harley owners should THANK an Indian owner for buying an Indian simply due to 2 reasons: Harley dropping prices/or adding more to future models with same price and Harley stays competitive with consistent/amazing products. The same with Indian owners, they should love and support Harley owners because both brands are American Made, both compete in prices and product and WE Benefit together when we don’t bash each other for what we choose to ride on the streets. My god the production quality on this channel is incredible! The montage in the beginning looks better than some channels with millions of subs. Good stuff man
Video popped up out of nowhere but I watched it and WOW. The audio and video quality is super good. The content and dissemination of info was laid out thoughtfully without being boring or obnoxious. Would I get this bike? Heck no. I need some comfort.
Just the kind of analysis I was looking for as I've been eyeing the bobber for some time, but I don't even ride motorbikes....so the fact that your video is for newb, perfect for me. Will continue my search. Thanks dude!
I’ve never had a motorcycle and can’t remember the last time I rode my Huffy. That being said I fell in love with this Scout Bobber and it will be my first motorcycle one day. This review coming from someone with little experience is awesome because it’s the same approach I would have. Subscribed for the top notch video quality, editing, channel name and purple pants.
Wow, this is the exact video I've been looking for. Just moved to Florida, truck broke down, and need something new and reliable but can't really afford a new truck. This would be perfect for me, affordable, and I love the look! Great video. Thought you had way more subscribers than you have by the quality of the video. Subbed!

It does look sick. But the Sportsters doesn't aim to be a bad ass bike. It's simple, clean and classic. The Sportster lines are slick. But I am talking about the 1200 and wouldn't say the 883 is the Sportster to get.
I don't agree, a Forty-eight well customized is way better looking, Indian's don't have that much of customization possibility, after all is about taste

Incredible review! I'm glad to hear that you still love the bike 2 years on. I've actually got a similar story to you. I felt the exact way about Harleys and their riders that you do but I liked the look of the Iron and thought I might get one. I did my research though and got a Scout Sixty as my second bike, my first being a Honda Shadow that got totalled after only 3 months. One year later on the Sixty and knew I wanted to trade up. I love the blacked out look on the Bobber and got mine last January. 2018 ABS Matte Black. I love it! It's so fucking badass and with my all black gear and leathers I feel like a badass riding it. People regularly stop me at gas stations and whatnot to complement it. It's not a Harley but it's still American! I'm 5'6 and I agree with you completely on the cramping. I usually take it on half hour rides to and from work but on my days off I've gone on 2+ hour rides. The longest I've taken it was around 4 hours and by the time I got home my muscles and joints were so cramped I felt like I needed to just lie down for a while. I've currently got Reinhardt racing slip-ons on it but just last week I actually ordered the freedom 2 into 1 and the exact air box and tuner you have based on your first video. I'm still waiting for that to arrive so I can get it installed but I'm pumped for it! My girlfriend doesn't ride with me but I'm trying to convince her to get her license and a bike of her own. Ride on man!
That's awesome man! Tha la for sharing this with me! 🙏🙏 You understand when I say that my favorite thing is how it makes me feel! 💪💪 I fixed my first bike (250cc duo Sport from China) and my wife is learning how to ride. Hopefully she falls in love with it and gets a bike... Then I can do some further mods to this one 😂 P.S. You're going to need a spacer for the peg. When installing the exhaust, it hits the peg by a bit. It also helps because it makes it so that the peg scrapes before the exhaust.
@@RickyNotSoMartin Haha! So we're both trying to get our girls to ride too. I'll keep that in mind with the exhaust. I think I saw that you commented about the spacer for the peg on the exhaust video. I'm going to get it professionally installed. I installed slip-ons on my last bike myself but I don't trust my skills enough to do a full exhaust replacement. I've come back to your exhaust video time and again. I knew that was the one I wanted. The Reinharts are loud and have a good sound but I want the power and performance increase of a 2 into 1 and the combat looks and sounds fantastic. It's also funny that you mentioned wanting to get a seat replacement for the Bobber. That was the first thing I did to it. I rode it once and knew that stock seat had to go. I put a black mustang seat on there.
Trade up? I'm 5'5 and 145lbs. Looking at the 60. Was it just pure power you want? Cuz I heard, the difference is not really noticeable until you reach the end of the 60. Because of my size/weight, I was thinking, the 60 would be plenty enough.
Hands down, the best review of the Scout Bobber. Great job on this video! I’m considering this bike and appreciated hearing the likes and dislikes about it.
Outstanding review and professional quality. Awesome humor, amazing angles and honest about your experience. 2020 Iron 883 owner myself. Walked into Indian dealer with hopes of test riding, long story short, the business made zero effort to even try to earn my business or another family in the store at the time. Made my decision much easier, both local HD dealers treat every customer as family by their first name. One day I'll ride an Indian though! Once again, awesome bike and video. Look forward to more of your content!
Thanks for this, man. I downloaded your video but didn’t watch it yet. Then yesterday after I took the same model ad this for a ride (newer) I watched your video and it’s great. I had a discussion with the salesman about people saying “ they’re too slow” and people saying “the suspension is horrible”, questions like “is it big enough for a man?”, “not enough power” et cetera. Thing is for me, it’s stupid fast, it feels massive, this suspension is great, it holds its own absolutely on the highway, wise, it’s more than big enough for me because I’m pushing 6 foot one. One thing though is that I realised my legs are a bit tall, which is something always wondered about, but could never confirm, because I’ve only ever been on superbikes and commuters, so all I would need to make it more comfortable for me would be tank pads for my knees. Other than that, reading reviews and seeing videos about this bike online has really made me realise that “to each their own” and that you must really take any and all reviews with a pinch of salt and just buy what you want. It doesn’t need to be a pissing contest.
great video. I was thinking the same thing with the HD Iron and Honda Rebel but I didn't know about the bobber and now I want to go check one out at the dealership and see what its like.
I also came to the comment section to mention the volume levels. could hardly hear anything he was saying. only parts here and there. if someone had headphones on maybe they could hear. I am watching on a Smart TV. might sound different to someone listening on their phone. there is some bad ass software plugins for Premiere Pro that will auto level and can tell the difference in speaking, Background music and intros and outros. it is bad ass and a must have. wish I could remember the name but just search for it. you will find it.
Fantastic video! Not only great information but great video skills in front and behind the camera! I'm a LONG term Harley owner and rider but I have an incredible little Indian dealer with-in walking distance of my house and my Harley dealer is an hour away. After years of riding with my wife on the back she wants her own bike and she and I both like the look of the Scouts. The Scouts sound good too with the right exhaust. I'm thinking the Scout Bobber would be a great bike for her and will allow me to slowly cross over and embrace all things Indian. I did the Scout Demo a few years back and its a lot of bike for the money! I like the low stance and the lightness and performance right out of the box and had the thought it would be a perfect 1st bike for anyone. Not sure I'm ready to give up my Harley but room enough in the garage for an Indian too!
Really good review - did a great job on the special shots showing just how good the bike looks, and really enjoyed the honest appraisal of the looks/comfort tradeoff. Subscribed.
I have checked maybe 4 or 5 bikes to get after i pass the test and get rid of my 125, THIS is the bike i have fallen in love with! Such a helpful video❤
It really is a beautiful bike. How you feel on that one, is how I feel on my boulevard c50. I love looking at her. It might not be "the best bike" yes it could "use a 6th gear" but damn it, It's still a great machine for me.

Awesome post! I have an 81 HD hardtail Iron Head bobber & a 2001 HD 1200C bobber and I have been thinking about selling them so I can tweak an Indian out to lower the space above the rear tire, drop those rear shocks for a nono shock so it's disconnected from that big rear fender, but that thing is super cool as is and I would love a newer bike like that
More to come! I'm reaching out to my local dealers to see if we can work on some reviews of other bikes on the line-up! Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it!
I have a 2023 Ruby Smoke Scout Bobber I’m about same height as you. I have 2 issues 1. seat is like you said feels like sliding off when throttling and 2. Fairing is what I need I’m really fighting the wind on the highway when I go any faster than 65/70 mph. Other than that I really love it for all the same reasons you pointed out. Ty for your review!
i like the way their going with the scout they know this bike would be a cheaper popular option so that means more customization i just want more people on Indians by the time i go looking to buy a bike
Accurate review dude! I agree, OEM seat and exhaust are the worst. Other than that, this bike is absolutely amazing out the box. Nice edit too. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Superb review. Picked up the Bobber last week. Just waiting for the rain to blow over to stick it’s first 500 on the clock.
Once again, belting review
The editing quality and content quality is 👌.
Thank you so much brother! I appreciate you taking time to see it and for the feedback! 🤯 That means a lot coming from a PRO! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Exactly what I said
Music on point. You actually were the one who helped me acquire my scout
Really?! That is awesome to hear man! Just because I know its a great bike!
That sucks man... I don't look like your typical biker so I was pretty much ignored. But, I really wanted the bike so I made it happen.
What an excellent review! Sending this one to my son.... who wants one of these.
That is awesome Paul! Thank you so much for the support and for sharing it!
Love the scout bobber, my one issue was the pipes look too long, but the pipe you put on really balanced it out.
Yea... I'm not a fan of those stock pipes either. First day I hit a curve with them 😂
Good video dude. Just a heads up to lower the volume of music while you're talking next time, can't hear you.
I appreciate the feedback brother! 🙏🙏 I'll definitely keep that in mind.
@@RickyNotSoMartin I hear you just fine the whole time. Good video 👍
I think the volumes were perfectly balanced. Not a problem imho
Great video quality Rick !
Congratulations sir. Great review, she still puts a smile on my face whenever I see her.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
Got to show some love for mi gente. Awesome production!!Mucho orgullo..🇵🇷🇵🇷
Dimelo Bori!!! 🇵🇷🇵🇷 Muchas gracias mi hernamo! That means a lot!!
Really good review - did a great job on the special shots showing just how good the bike looks, and really enjoyed the honest appraisal of the looks/comfort tradeoff. Subscribed.
Thank you so much Larry!! That's awesome to read! I tried really hard to be as honest as I could. Thanks for the feedback! 🤙🤙
I have checked maybe 4 or 5 bikes to get after i pass the test and get rid of my 125, THIS is the bike i have fallen in love with! Such a helpful video❤
The production in this video is on another level. Love the Santurce shirt 🇵🇷
It really is a beautiful bike. How you feel on that one, is how I feel on my boulevard c50. I love looking at her. It might not be "the best bike" yes it could "use a 6th gear" but damn it, It's still a great machine for me.
Man, I love the bike’s look. Seriously contemplating buying one for the leisurely cruises. Keep the R1 for the much needed adrenaline rush.
Three Twisted Sisters hell yes bro if you’re ever in the area again, hollar at me. Ricky, heck of a job on this video. Excellent work buddy.
D!! I really appreciate your feedback brother! You know I'm a big fan of your channel so it means a lot! I want to go this riding season for sure! Let's stay plan something ASAP 💪🤙
This Harley owner is digging this bike :)
Superb review my brother !!
Awesome post! I have an 81 HD hardtail Iron Head bobber & a 2001 HD 1200C bobber and I have been thinking about selling them so I can tweak an Indian out to lower the space above the rear tire, drop those rear shocks for a nono shock so it's disconnected from that big rear fender, but that thing is super cool as is and I would love a newer bike like that
Bro you're so underated
I went from a Kawasaki Vulcan S to a Scout Bobber. Freakin amazing!
Uff! Two awesome bikes!
Probably the best Indian bobber review i have watched. Thanks bro!
This is the best review. I just got mine! All your pros & cons are TRUE!
Worth the wait! 🙌🏾
I appreciate it brother! Thanks for watching it before I published it and giving me your feedback!
Awesome video Ricky!! Love my scout bobber 👍
Thank you!! 🙏🙏 I appreciate it!
You legit bought this bike on my wedding day! LOL
Love the bike! Hope to own one someday!
That's awesome! Congratulations!! It's an awesome bike! Hope you could make it happen brother! 💪
You make fantastic videos! Production quality is amazing and the content is thoughtful and interesting. Love the bike too…. Black all the way.
Awesome vids man, your videos helped me make my choose. Just picked up my bobber this past Friday after a 4 month wait!
This is some of the best cinematography I've seen in a bike review. It's up there with Fortnine. Nice bike man. Subbing for sure.
Wow! That means a lot! I'm a big fan of Fortnine!
One of the best reviews of the scout that I have ever seen. U gotta do more reviews abt different bike's ( chief dark horse pls). 👍
More to come! I'm reaching out to my local dealers to see if we can work on some reviews of other bikes on the line-up! Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it!
I got it with the fox shocks and the comfort seat, it’s a completely different ride.
Really? Im going to get that comfort seat. Still has the look I like but more cushion. Does it hold you in the seat better than the stock one?
@@RickyNotSoMartin yep, doubles the amount of time you can ride the bike without a break
@@RickyNotSoMartin I can't recommend it enough. Holds me like a glove at high speeds :)
Enough said. Sold!
@@RickyNotSoMartin Let me know what you think!
I have a 2023 Ruby Smoke Scout Bobber I’m about same height as you. I have 2 issues
1. seat is like you said feels like sliding off when throttling and 2. Fairing is what I need I’m really fighting the wind on the highway when I go any faster than 65/70 mph. Other than that I really love it for all the same reasons you pointed out. Ty for your review!
Definitely opened up my eyes to an Indian bobber man great video!
The one dislike is from the guy who bought the 883 sportster 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
@Kerry Long its impossible...
@Kerry Long can you share link where some1 do it?
@Kerry Long aa
@Kerry Long hammers big bore kit 1275cc with some other work could help 883 reach 130bhp
🇵🇷🇵🇷 I just bought mine 2 month ago!! And I love it!!
Dímelo Bori!! 🇵🇷🇵🇷 Congratulations brother! What color you got?
Ruby Smoke!
Yo tambn ando aquí en Texas!! Congrats brother.!!
@@josueruiz5070 wow! Me encanta ese color!
That Clemente Cangrejeros shirt is as badass as the bike!
Uff! I totally agree! 🇵🇷
I don’t even ride a bike but the looks make me want to buy one. Beautiful.
Great camerawork btw!
Might be the best review I’ve ever seen on a motorcycle. Great work my friend!
i like the way their going with the scout they know this bike would be a cheaper popular option so that means more customization i just want more people on Indians by the time i go looking to buy a bike
Awesome!
You might not have those mechanical skills. But you got some photography and editing skills to make up for it.
haha I really appreciate that!!
By far the best review of any bike I have ever watched on RUclips. I’m subscribing.
Jacob!!! You are the man!! Thank you brother! I appreciate that a lot! Definitely motivates me to keep at it! Thank you again!
man I am in love with that bike looks sooo good and your photography is top notch great work
This sounds exactly like my current search. Been through the same videos and thought about the same bikes. Thanks for posting this.
Accurate review dude! I agree, OEM seat and exhaust are the worst. Other than that, this bike is absolutely amazing out the box. Nice edit too. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thank you so much Bobby! I really appreciate your support man, it means a lot! 🙏🙏
This is an awesome review, just a tiny critique: The music is often a bit too loud and makes it somewhat difficult to understand you :)
Wayy too loud
It wont happen again! Thanks for letting me know and being so cool about it!
@@RickyNotSoMartin still a nice video tho
@@RickyNotSoMartin still a nice video tho
The Matt Laidlaw reference was gold 😂 That dude is always cryin about Indian
He puts our great content, so make sure to check him out! I obviously don't think he's a douchebag but if I was going to use anyone for that joke, it had to be him! 😂😂
After watching a few videos on different style cruisers I’ve started enjoying the looks of this Indian Scout bobber and I’m 5’0 😢but I still wanna badass looking affordable Motorcycles’s that fits me. After watching this video I made my choice what I want. I appreciate your video as well Pros/Cons about it. I’m d like to see more of you done anymore upgrades to your Scout Bobber
This content is amazing. Keep it up, man!!
Amazing video man, this video is about to BLOW up I can tell already. You did a killer job. Cinematics were on point, you were very thorough, & did a good job of describing the bikes pros & cons for the type of bike it is, a bobber.
Ah man, thank you so much brother! 🙏🙏 I had a lot of fun doing this video! This is my quarantine project 😂 I really appreciate your feedback man. I love what you're doing over at your channel.
What a great bike. Only thing stopping me is the 15k€ price tag here in Germany...
22k$ here
same in czech rep😔so beautiful bike
love your purple pants!!!
Me too!! 🤫
😂😂
Wasn't sure what to expect since I haven't watched anything on your channel before, but man this is a great video. The shots, music, and editing are amazing, and you seem like a really cool guy. Thanks for the great review!
First time viewer from Australia. Really enjoyed it . . . to the point that I subscribed. I didn’t do that often these days. Thanks mate.
This is serious production quality man. I can tell a lot of time, effort and money goes into these videos.. Keep it up!
Sweet ride!! I would definitely upgrade that seat just for my lower back and find something that keeps look you want.
Thank you brother!🙏🙏 Indian came out with one with the same look, but with a lot more cushion. That's next on my list for sure!
@@RickyNotSoMartin I was thinking since you hit 15k in 2 years. Why not go for 50k 5yrs. Lol. Might as well enjoy the long rides. I was thinking about buy gel pads under my old seat. Seeing the leather is still ok but foam from 1998. Lol. I would try some leather softener if it's just the leather. But I would guess it's broken in by now
@@RickyNotSoMartin and different shocks
You just got a new sub! This is art right here. Literally some of the best production I’ve ever seen in my life. Dude please keep grinding
Couldn't agree more about the look. The moment I saw that bike I wanted to have it. atm goin for my license and hopefully next year I will be a proud owner of that beautiful bike. thx for the review
LMAO! I laughed so much when you mentioned “comfort”. I so could relate...hahaha...great review 👍
Love from INDIA ♥️
me too!!
I find the bike so beautiful, If i had my license that's the one i would buy.
I have the exact same compliments complaints. Everything you say in this video is exactly spot on but I love my scout bobber I won't won't trade it for anything!!!!
the Scout bobber is an insanely good looking bike. I got to see it in person yesterday and I just love the look of it!
Muy duroooo!!!!!💪💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Muchas gracias mi hermano!
